Came to POST for the World Cup Volunteer Tryouts and saw this place on my way out! It's very cool and aesthetically pleasing! There are even plants available for purchase! I ordered a Honey Latte Matcha and it cost around $7.50. The service was very quick and the employee was very friendly. I liked the taste of the matcha as it had a good amount of sweetness but still tasted like matcha.
Omg love this place! We came here to study and were greeted by the sweetest cats. Upon entry, it's plant heaven. I would say the drinks are decently priced as well as the plants. It feels serene and there's light music playing in the background. There was a floral arrangement workshop happening and it was fun to watch. I appreciate how they have couches and tables with seats and plenty of mirrors. It's one of my favorite places for coffee shop drinks and vibes.
The environment is so cute!!! All these plants made you so relaxed. Matcha was great too. Enjoyed it a lot. If you are a music lover, it's a great place to go. They had live bank music when we were there. However, it's a bit too loud for formal meetings or a date in my opinion.
Today I stopped by for my first time, I heard that is the new location with much better parking. I ordered the Garden of Eden matcha, I liked that you could actually taste the thyme and basil and not just subtle hints of it either, even though you could taste them it made the drink a little bit sweeter but it didn't mess with the original taste of the matcha. The area is nice and spacious with lots of foliage which helps with relaxation there or just to get some work done, there are also some more seats on the patio.
Golden milk latte - 9/10 - Tasted like a spiced chai but a coffee version, balanced well with the coffee, on the stronger side Honey cinnamon latte - 7.5/10 - Strong flavors, coffee had a slightly sour aftertaste tho Honey matcha - 8/10 - Strong matcha with strong honey flavor Banana bread - 9/10 - Moist with a perfect amount of banana flavor, i liked the walnuts added to it Earth glow juice - 9/10 - So refreshing and 100% clean ingredients used, very cucumbery, not sweet so more for those who want a healthy drink Eden Plant Co has moved from the POST to its own very spacious and cozy location. They use homemade syrups and clean ingredients. Their coffee and matcha are stronger rather than sweeter. They also have plenty of parking.
I love the vibe of this place. Plant shop and coffee shop, really awesome aesthetics. I also enjoyed that the menu was creative, it didn't just have your typical drinks. I wasn't a huge fan of the drink I got, though. The Fountain of Chai is a matcha + chai combo, which is pretty interesting. I felt like it just tasted like a cinnamon-heavy matcha. I expected to taste the chai a little more.
Let's start with the obvious -- the place is absolutely stunning. I love being surrounded by the greenery. That alone will definitely make me return. They have a large selection of plants to purchase from. Staff didn't seem that eager to help, I had to track someone down. The beverage menu is rather small. I got the chai matcha which was pretty good, but it was my first time having matcha so I have nothing to compare it to. Overall, worth visit. Very cute place to get work done. I will be back.
I loved The Eden Plant Co. I decided to visit for my self-care Friday. There were so much greenery, plants, and flowers. Many were just for décor, but some were also available to buy. While I was there, they had a plant class going on with wine being served and a photographer which looked really fun. The vibe was so calming and welcoming. There's plenty of seating both upstairs and downstairs, which made it a great place to unwind or get some work done. They offer a variety of coffees, teas, matchas, and pastries. I tried matcha for the first time (I ordered the Daydream-Peace) and it was amazing. I also had one of their pastries, which was also very good. If you're looking for a quiet place to relax, I recommend this place.
I love Eden Plant ! Such a beautiful atmosphere. The plants are insanely beautiful & affordable, the drinks are 10/10 and the staff are amazing . They also added a jewelry boutique inside called Teeli and she has so many gorgeous custom pieces you won't find anywhere else! Definitely a must -visit if you're in the area. You can shop around or stay, study and relax. Definitely my go to place just to get out of the house.

(~2.5 stars truly) As a self-proclaimed matcha snob, I came here with high hopes while visiting Houston--and while the space was absolutely lovely, the matcha didn't quite live up to the hype for me. The café itself is undeniably beautiful. It's filled with greenery and has a thoughtfully designed aesthetic that makes it a pretty spot to pop into and snap a photo. While it's visually appealing, it didn't necessarily invite me to linger or hang out for long. The staff was kind and welcoming, and I appreciated the creativity of their matcha menu--definitely not your average lineup. I ordered the honey matcha latte, and unfortunately, it fell flat. The drink came fully blended, missing that gorgeous layered aesthetic I usually love (milk on the bottom, vibrant matcha slowly cascading from the top). While the matcha flavor was present, it tasted very basic and generic--like something I might quickly whip up at home. I also couldn't detect any honey notes at all, which was disappointing. I found myself wishing the matcha flavor was much stronger and more complex. For $9.20, I expected something a little more elevated and memorable. I left feeling underwhelmed and a bit disappointed, especially after having a noticeably better matcha experience at a different local spot the day before--for a lower price. All in all, Eden Plant Co is a lovely space with kind staff and a unique concept, but I wouldn't return for the matcha. Still, if you're in the area and curious, it might be worth checking out for the vibe and aesthetics alone.

I love that their matcha drinks are unique and you can tell from the taste that they use quality matcha, and watching them make my drink, they care about the craft and making of their drinks. I got the 'Garden of Eden' and rate it 7/10. It's super refreshing, which the basil and thyme makes it a bright and earthy drink. I do appreciate that it isn't too sweet. I personally love a creamy matcha, and this would be on the watery side. Overall, super cute vibe and I would come back to try it again! The baristas were also super happy to help and recommend me a drink!

I really liked the inside of this place and the overall ambiance. It was cool and honestly a great place to lounge and spill some tea - as we did. We got strawberry matchas and a mango matcha, and we all agreed they were like a 7/10. Definitely have had better but it was pretty good. You'd mainly come here for the vibe and aesthetic. Will warn you that the parking lot is just like gravel and has a bunch of potholes, and the outside looks a little sketchy like it's a warehouse, but the inside is cool. read more

Recently came to the new location & really love it! When you step in, it looks like you're in a jungle, with a path that leads you do the counter & lots of seating areas including 2 couches & decor. They host events here, like floral workshops, which is great & there is a lot of space for the class. I got an Iced Fountain of Chai Matcha which was pretty good! This is my second time having matcha, and after being disappointed by my first experience at another establishment, Eden's Matcha has made me want to start drinking it! It was very smooth, and the matcha was not gritty. The notes of vanilla & cinnamon were present & subtle. You can tell that they strive to perfect their matcha for their customers. I'm looking forward to coming back & maybe attending a floral workshop here as well! read more

This space is so beautiful. Walking into the area truly feels like the Garden of Eden. I love the greenery everywhere, and the drinks are fabulous. I got a lavender matcha latte, and it was one of the best that I've ever had! Quick service and very friendly. I will be back to try other items! read more
Just happened to stumble across this spot when I was roaming around the post market, I'm glad I stopped by because I enjoyed their matcha latte! When you come stop by, it's surrounded with plants all over the place and there's a little shop across the place. The matcha itself isn't very strong but nonetheless it's still great for a quick matcha drink to your next destination. read more
Would highly recommend looking into and trying a floral arrangement workshop with Taiba. She's very talented, friendly, and takes times to explain the thought process behind her arrangements. At the time of writing, the arrangement class only costs $58, which is a fantastic deal considering you get to keep the vase or bouquet arrangement you make. I would encourage the guys to take a step out of your comfort zone and try a floral arrangement class as a new, fun, or different date idea. I'm an avid sports fan and do not consider myself creative or artistic in any way, yet with Taiba's guidance my arrangement wasn't half bad! A small wine menu is offered, but no additional purchase is necessary. read more
This is an aesthetic coffee shop inside the Post Market. They sell plants and H Town merch. The decor is very green and felt like being in nature. The honey matcha latte was very tasty. Located inside Post. I know they used to be in EaDo and this is their new location. I haven't been able to figure out if the EaDo location closed or not -- it doesn't seem to have much of an online presence. Plants & coffee & pastries -- can't go wrong with that combo! The almond croissant is top notch, btw. Just a heads up -- this location is an events space as well. So if you're looking for a quiet spot to sip coffee and read/study, check their calendar first. We came by on a Sunday morning with our 2-year-old and 2-month-old. Turns out they have church service there on Sundays! That's cool but it was very loud (felt like a concert) so we couldn't stay there with the baby. Luckily, there's a nice little garden just outside so we still had a nice time. Anyway, it's awesome that they do various events but just be aware if quiet solitude is your goal. Parking is in a paid lot. read more
I really enjoyed myself. It was so calming, so serene, so lush. I really like that Eden is separated from the hustle and bustle of Post. It's much quieter in this area and the perfect place to relax. Solo or have more intimate conversations. They had a really nice beverage menu, but I did not try anything this time. There are so many plants and trees I wish I could have purchased several but I only got one. I'm actually not sure if everything there is for purchase because they do have some really large and well developed trees. The customer service was great. They checked on me while I was shopping around and gave me full instructions to care for my new baby when I was checking out. They are very knowledgeable about plants. Beautiful matcha bar inside the POST. I love that it is separate from the food hall. The plants and light give it a very relaxing vibe. The girl working the matcha bar was all alone when we arrived and quite overwhelmed. My friend and I ordered the same drink, but they tasted quite different. My friend was able to ask for an adjustment of her drink and it was much better. We both got the garden of Eden iced. Maybe it was just an off day for them. I would definitely come again. read more
The spot itself was the main attraction. It was filled with plants and plenty of tables to chat or study and very peaceful as well. The service was friendly as well and pretty quick. The vanilla sky matcha was good, but was a little watery for me so I would ask for light ice. read more
This place is a gem! All I could ask for in one space...coffee and plants! I was so happy to see how they were able to transform this new space into a calm and zen environment. Not only is the coffee good and the banana nut bread is to die for, I was able to transport to a whole new world of just me and nature. The quaint spots to sit and work or have an intimate conversation hidden among plants were my favorite. Ok some tips when ordering, there is not a size system so just order what you want and they take care of the rest. Feel free to bring a water bottle as they do have a water station open and available for use. Let them focus on coffee! They also have teas and matcha drinks available as well. I know I will be back! Eden is definitely worth checking out! It's like a one-stop shop--church, plants, and a coffee shop all wrapped into one. Located inside POST, it has such a unique vibe. They also host events and workshops, which adds to the community feel. I went for a study session and was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming everyone was. The service was great! Just a heads-up: the pricing online is different from what you'll find in person, so I'd recommend going in to see the updated menu. I ordered the Golden Hour Matcha--really good and not too sweet. Definitely plan to come back! read more
Purely on aesthetics, Eden plant is one of the most beautiful coffee shops in town. High ceilings, lots of natural light, and plenty of greenery and vegetation as its namesake would suggest. Service is friendly, drinks are decent (albeit on the pricier side). Lots of people around here studying or doing work during the day. At night they have various events such as jazz night (which is cool, but incredibly over-priced for tickets) They have some pretty impressive plants here, but they are incredibly expensive, and you can get most for cheaper elsewhere. Parking can often be a pain as it is quite limited. If you live in the neighborhood, I can see why you would be a patron here, but I probably would not cross town to make a dedicated visit. read more

Overall AWESOME cafe for work and coffee. Noise level - 55db quiet conversation Wifi speed - 300 down 100 up Power plugs - about 10, on the far end of the hall and near the couch Seats - 40 indoors, 8 outdoors Parking - 2 lots in front but free along the streets around the block The service was great the barista was friendly. My matcha reishi oat latte was delicious albeit $9.50. Ooof. The plant-filled store helps soothe the eyes after staring at the screen for too long. But power is limited and difficult to reach or else it'll be a perfect spot to work remotely. read more

What are the marks of a great coffee shop? Zen atmosphere for working or hanging out, outlets, great brews? I agree with many of those, but dare to add a plant nursery and abundance of natural (and purchasable) plants. It may be the adult in me, but anywhere where I can knock out two stops in one trip is a "hell yah" to me. To be honest, parking can be challenging (I mean EADO), my drink was just okay, and it was pretty dang pricey...all of the marks of a spot I'd be hesitant to return to, but I'll 100% be back to try something else soon, waiting for parking was worth it because the plants, and the vibe of this shop are so incredibly grounding. read more

Came to this coffeeshop to work on the dissertation I've been putting aside since moving across the country. It is a very nice, jungle vibe coffee and plant shop. The plants gave it a very nice aesthetic to work in and you could even purchase some if you wanted to take any home. There's lots of open space and it wasn't super packed on a Saturday morning/afternoon so it stayed quiet and pleasant to work. For anyone who comes (or anyone looking for some baked goods) DO NOT SLEEP ON THE PASTRIES. I tried the blueberry lemon lavender cake and the almond chocolate marzipan croissant and both were amazing. Honestly, I forgot about my matcha cause the pastries stole the show for me. Anyway, if you want a quiet Saturday work spot, I'd def recommend checking this spot out. Or if you just wanna drive out for some amazing pastries! read more

I had a matcha Latte with oat milk and my husband had a regular latte with oat milk and we split a banana bread. This area is beautiful with the coffee shop in the middle. There is also an event center there on another side of the building. They also have a food court area that was not opened until later. But lots of options . Definitely recommend this place. Close to Houston Hobby airport. read more

I actually really liked the coffee at Eden! The flat white was made very well and the environment is stunning. Perfect for studying or meeting with friends. It gives such a beautiful scenery to Post, which is a nice change of pace. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Not sure if this spot gets busier in the morning, but when I went they were very quick and efficient. Highly recommend if you're in the area! read more

came to the post location since i wasn't sure if the eado spot was still open after reading some reviews online. i've seen so many hyped reviews about this place, but honestly, it fell a little short for me. the space is gorgeous. it's right in the center when you walk into the post, and all the plants make it feel so beautiful and calming. that said, i'm not sure it's the best place to study or work since there are were some events going on, which can get pretty loud. also, parking isn't super convenient--there's a paid lot, or you can try finding street parking, but that's about a 5-10 minute walk away. i ordered the garden of eden (restore) - it's matcha, maple, thyme, basil, and oat milk. i thought it sounded interesting because it's their signature drink, and i've never tried basil in matcha before. one thing i didn't like was that there's no pricing listed for matcha on the menu. i feel like it's better to let customers know upfront instead of making them ask. for reference, the base price for matcha is $7, and oat milk is $1 extra, plus $0.75 for syrup. the drink was just okay. it wasn't bad, but i don't think it was worth the price. the flavors didn't really come together for me, and honestly, i'd probably just stick to making my own matcha at home next time. read more
