Did checked out their pickleball and golf section. Ok, You can hit a few balls with the drivers, irons, woods, etc. in the cage behind the putting green! You can not do that! Why? My beloved Asics volleyball sneaker is wearing out after 4+ years. It is time to buy a new pair! When I spotted Academy Sports + Outdoors, I walked in without doing any internet research. I headed straight to the Men's Shoes section; they have numbers of shoes available but not the Asics model like Gel-Rocket or Netburner or Upcourt I preferred. The sale associate was very friendly and called support if they carried volleyball sneakers. Unfortunately, No. Oh well, may be I can go to Asics or use Internet! While I was there, I quickly checked their BBQ, Gun, Basketballs, Pickleball, shoes, apparels and other sections. The price is reasonable. They looked fine but I wanted my volleyball sneaker! During my visit, two associates helped me and I feel very comfortable browsing in the store!

After not hearing anything I got ahold of someone in customer service and she told me that when that pistol came back in stock they would not honor the price they had it advertised for. I explained that I put in a buy for that pistol on their website at their advertised price. She said it didnt matter what the circumstances were they werent going to honor the price they had it advetised for.. Never been back, will never go back. Not only did Paul do a phenominal job on striniging my new Traid Three Wilson racket but did a excellent grip wrap like Ive never seen before! Paul has two children in competitive tennis and also was a competitor himself with a wealth of knowledge about equipment and the sport of tennis. I highly recommend Ace Sports they were great!

I get back there and an older dude with blonde hair/ponytail is talking to 2 male customers. I stand there for a while while he is yammering, hoping he will get the MESSAGE that another customer needs help. He doesn't get it. So I go look at something else, come back, stand there close to where he is yammering and wait awhile AGAIN, still this guy is clueless. I go back up to the same Cashier I started with and wait 3 people deep to ask "Hey, is there another employee you could send back to Electronics to help me out?" And another Cashier (male with dark hair) jumps on the second register and I tell him the entire story and I ask if he can send someone Else to Electronics to help a sister out? He proceeds to ask me "Can I take the two people behind you?" I said, FORGET IT, IT SHOULDN'T BE THIS HARD TO GET HELP HERE. I walked out disgusted at the employees in this store.
