Elsa pays attention to details and I am highly impressed with the competence and professionalism of her staff, nurses, CNAs, PT team, and workers. They were so courteous and friendly and made my family feel reassured that my sister would be well taken care of. Brookside is bright, clean, spacious and they have an outdoor space which is a center courtyard where they have activities for those interested in participating. Within one business day of her arrival, we had a family meeting set up with the Brookside team to review our expectations, they answered questions, and allowed us to mention any special requests we had during my sister's stay at Brookside Nursing. This family meeting is part of their standard operating procedure and I think is a big benefit for its residents. This is a huge contrast to an experience we had at another skilled nursing facility where there was no formal dialogue offered. The Brookside PT and OT team are exceptional.
