I'd been looking for a nail salon in the LB area for quite some time. Nail salons are a dime a dozen but its difficult to find a great one. Had a few heartbreaks before finding Aglow. Kevin is kind and does a beautiful manicure job; I've done gel and dipping and they both came out wonderful. First time I got a gel mani it lasted like 3-4 weeks, no lifting, no chipping. The prices are fair too. If they continue with the same great service and prices, they'll have a long-term customer with me. read more

I went to Aglow for the first time today and will definitely go back! It's a small nail salon, so it's probably best to call ahead of time. When I arrived, it was empty, but during my appointment three other customers arrived, so it has the potential to get busy really quickly. Kevin did an ombré full set and Kelly did my pedicure. They both took their time to cut and file my nails, which I appreciate. In the end, my nails and my toes look great - they are straight, shaped well and polished nicely! The only reason why I didn't give five stars is that I'm not sure this is the place for show stopping designs. I could be wrong, but it seemed like that wasn't something they really did. Nevertheless, it was a great experience and I will be back to visit them again in two weeks! read more

Had the dip done- once I stepped out into the light you could see how uneven it was. Looked like mini speedbumps all over the nail. Also, some where done square-round as requested but some where done more wing tipped than anything.. Not that any of that matters because here I am one day later with 1/2 of them broken and the rest chipped. Save your money and go elsewhere. Waste of $40 read more

I decided to give this place a try and found that the ladies are super sweet and did a very nice job on my pedi/mani.

Came in for a dip manicure. They did not give me a manicure and proceeded to just put the powder on my nails without filing or pushing back the cuticle first. They only did one dip of powder, most shops do two or three. The end result, all of my nails were a different length and shape and the powder looked and felt super bumpy. They didn't even put clear gel on top, they just finished it off with regular clear nail polish. I tried to tell them that they didn't look good but they either didn't understand what I was saying or didn't care. If I wanted my nails to look this crappy I would have done them myself. What a waste of money, never coming back here again. The shop is also tiny and only has two employees, which is not enough given how busy they are. read more

I've been going to this nail salon for about 5 years now. It recently changed ownership and name from Ana Nails to now Aglow. The new owner Helen is great. She accommodates my work schedule so even though she closes at 6:00pm during the week, as long as I call her ahead of time I can have a nail appt at 6:30 pm. Great experience! The shop is clean and stylish with many color options in sns, dipping powder, and regular polish. Kevin does an amazing job and really takes his time and makes you feel so special when you come in. You can just tell he has a lot of integrity with his work. His designs are superior!
