The baked good at Four Corners Bake Shop is to die for! Baked in-house, they are so fresh! Though with a good selection in the display cabinet, I know right away what I want! Sfogliatella please! So flaky and creamy, probably one of the best one I have in GTA! You can enjoy your pastry with a coffee and just chill with your friend. For lunch, there is also a hot table of Italian food and they also have sandwiches available. Come by for a treat next time when you are in Calderon's Main Street business area. I know I will be back!

Chocolate Butter tarts (one got smeared with eclair cream)

This place is really new, so new that it didn't have a venue, and I had to add it on the fly while I was out here! Lee and I were out riding on the Caledon Trail, and we were planning on turning around right near here. I made note of this place, as it's *right* next to the trail, as a good spot where we could stop and pick up a snack on the way back. There's a lot of bike racks in this part of Caledon East, so you can easily lock up your ride. We did so and headed on in. It's a really cute little cafe, with a lot of yummy baked goods and some lunch foods, mostly of Italian background. They also have gelato on offer. I saw butter tarts and had to have one, those being something I really miss when away from Canada. Lee spotted an eclair and picked one up as well. The cashier was really nice and friendly, and packed up our choices in a nice stout box that we were able to strap to our bike and ride over to a nearby park to munch on. Lee really loved his eclair, it was nice and fluffy, with a good amount of cream filling. I also really enjoyed the butter tarts! Both were chocolate pastry, and one was chocolate pecan. They were a good size, and had a nice gooey, sugary consistency. Yum! So if you're riding along on the Caledon Trail, or just in the area, give this place a try!

Popped in on our way through town, the eggplant parm on a bun was delicious (brought to share!) Friendly service with a family vibe. Couldn't resist the smell of coffee and the treats

Hot table has a good variety of Italian food. Stone baked pizza is fantastic! Hospitable staff and nice outdoor seating for your espresso.

Decent food, but workers are so rude, did not say hi and goodbye and rolled their eyes during service.

So - I was excited when she went to a friend's birthday party and actually ATE the WHOLE cupcake! It was a Monsters Inc theme and she ate the "Boo" cupcake. Not only was the cupcake adorable and delicious, but inside there was a surprise gummy bear! Needless to say, my daughter's birthday is here and I got the contact info from the friend's mom. We already had the cake booked (part of the package at an indoor playground) but I had gone to the OMG website and saw DISNEY FROZEN OLAF COOKIES! My daughter's birthday theme is, of course, Frozen - PERFECT! Together with a little gift card from Menchies, our birthday guests are getting these adorable Olaf cookies! Valerie and her aunt are the owners. I live in Markham but got to pick up my order in Thornhill, even though Valerie is based in Bolton. Valerie was prompt in answering my many many emails - I was humming and hawing over cookies or cupcakes, but decided on cookies because they travel and keep better. I am very excited to have found Valerie - she is one of these local gems that you won't be able to find on a Google search. Her style is tasteful and everything is delicious! Thanks Valerie - our family has already "sampled" a few cookies and the party is tomorrow. I'm going to have to hide the rest so that we have enough for our guests!

I am driving through the country side and there it is also foggy. That's the perfect environment for long drive. Now I started to crave for soup or coffee. I am started to feel sad, thinking I should have picked up something in city. In next 5 mins I see a beautiful rustic wooden farmhouse on the right. I just turned and went there to check what it is. It was this beautiful looking Heatherlea Farm Shoppe. I checked their website and they also have a cafe inside. It was like God didn't wanted me to sad for long and presented this Farm Shoppe. I went in there with mask on. They have proper safety protocols in place. It's a wonderful farm shop that has amazing looking meats, vegetables, fruits, sauces and many more stuff. Very clean and well presented. On the left side they have a cafe and they serve coffee, tea, soup, sandwiches, baked goods and more. I wanted to have soup, but they were sold out. So I got myself a cup of coffee, oatmeal raisin cookie, chocolate chip cookie and brownie. Everything was delicious and perfect. I really loved the coffee and brownie. Brownie was so damn delicious and decadent. They have big parking outside overlooking beautiful lush fields. This place is a gem. Now I know where to stop when I am out for long drive, or I might even just take a drive to specially go here to enjoy everything they offer. I will definitely recommend this beautiful place!!

What brought me to Tin Roof Cafe in Erin was my son's baseball game against the local team. With time to kill and bellies to fill before first pitch, we stopped by Tin Roof Cafe. It looked like the most promising spot in town, and we were fortunate to squeeze in an hour there before their daily 6 p.m. closing time. My son ordered the Tin Roof BLT, and everything about it tasted incredibly fresh. I especially appreciated that they used locally baked bread instead of the typical store-bought variety. (If you're wondering, they also offer a regular BLT--but you won't get the turkey, avocado, or chipotle mayo that make the Tin Roof version so special.) It was a delicious sandwich from start to finish. For myself, I ordered the Nutellaccino. It was surprisingly good. The Nutella added a nutty richness to the coffee without making it crazily sweet. We also ordered a peanut butter brownie to go. Since my son was eating his sandwich first, the staff kindly offered to keep the brownie in the fridge until we were ready to leave. However, since we still had some time to kill and of course a sweet tooth, so we ended up eating the brownie before we left. The brownie was so...good. You could tell it was homemade, and even the peanut butter was homemade. The only disappointment was that I visited during the summer. Otherwise, I definitely would have tried one of their soups, which unfortunately aren't available during the warmer months. I love coffee shops with personality, and Tin Roof Cafe has plenty of it. Its cozy, funky village vibe made our one-hour visit feel warm, welcoming, and memorable. It's exactly the kind of local café that makes a small-town stop worthwhile.

They also have a small supermarket in there that serves products that they make out of the apples and other things that they grow on the farm but you can also buy some local goods there as well and you can view the pizzas being made in the stone oven. They offer a group tours twice a day, it's best that you book ahead. I took the tour.. the place is quite small I don't know if I necessarily would do the tour again I don't know if it really did that much enhancement to my experience. But the tour does come with three samples and you get a $5 voucher towards the restaurant if you choose to dine at the restaurant They have different options that you can try, cider flights both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. I chose alcohol and every single cider that I tried including the ones on the tour I absolutely love, they have a lower sugar content than traditional ciders that you buy at the LCBO which gives them a lighter refreshing feel. For their regular flavors I thought the draught cider was the best. And for the seasonal they had a sangria cider that was absolutely refreshing as well I tried the cambert cheese I believe.. it was that came with their gooseberry jelly oh my goodness that jelly was absolutely delicious and they do sell it in the market. I also tried their pizza and I thought the pizza was absolutely delicious I got the large which is a shareable I also noted that the staff seemed genuinely happy from the servers to the hostess to the tour guide. In 2025 a lot of places you go it feels like people do not want to be at their place of work so that was nice to experience.
