As expected there was no seating available due to Covid-19. The food quality from the hot table was moderate (hence the 3*'s). Had a salami calzone for lunch. We also bought a blueberry/strawberry scone/biscuit. I deducted a star cause the biscuit was virtually tasteless. Almost zero taste! Found that strange considering the cost was $3.50! I'd do over but just the gelato this time.

We got almond cookies, hazelnut cookies with chocolate, pecan butter tart, strawberry cheesecake, apple strudel. My son thought the strudel was sweet. He likes uncle tetsu cheesecakes which aren't too sweet. The almond cookies had too much vanilla in them. There was an aftertaste that wasn't the best The hazelnut had the same issue. The butter tarts were good. Sweet not overly runny. You could bite them and they didn't drip out but not a firm Filling either. My friend bought the chocolate pecan? Butter tart and it was quite good. The I thought the chocolate added to it. Was worried it would make it too sweet. The Apple strudel was pretty good. I always like pastry no filo please!!!! Anyways kinda reminded me of what you'd buy in a store. I think the filling is the kind that comes from a bucket. So I don't think I'd get again unless I was in a strudel mood. I do have a weakness for strudel. Saturday mornings at st Lawrence market has a better one if she is still there. I definitely need to go back to Try the food!!'

Brampton has many Portuguese bakeries. So perhaps I'm spoiled and shouldn't judge a place based on…read moreone experience. But because it was rather disappointing, I don't think I'll return. The positives: there's lots of variety of baked goods and desserts, almost to the point where you wonder if they are jack of all trades, master of none. I only had a sandwich, so I can't evaluate anything else. Seating is plentful if you choose to dine-in. I had a pressed sandwich with Portuguese cheese and salami. It tasted quite good. I also had a cappuccino which was fair. The negatives: First, while they weren't busy and there were two people working, it still took a very long time to get my coffee and then my sandwich. I also noticed their pricing is higher than other Portuguese bakeries because they charge for everything separately e.g. extra dollar for heating/pressing the sandwich. They also had a small and large sandwich option. I ordered the small sandwich, but asked for a different cheese because their cheese options were limited to two mild flavour ones and I wanted something with a stronger flavour. While they didn't tell me, I figured it would be more expensive. When they charged me for my meal, I was charged extra for the cheese and meat. I pointed out I had ordered a small sandwich, so I didn't understand why I was being charged extra on the meat, but apparently the person who made my sandwich had given me extra meat. Well, I didn't ask for that and it isn't my fault she gave me more. The cashier wasn't happy with my argument, even pointing out she had given me 4 slices of meat instead of 1 (as if to say I should be charged even more), but very grudgingly gave me a dollar off the bill. Anyway, my point is I know of other Portuguese bakeries nearby where you can get consistent fast, pleasant service with a good variety and quality of food and no nickle and diming. So I don't see myself coming back.

I asked for a printed photo and it came out with printer streaks, but it was okay because the cream frosting tasted amazing. Second time I was heavily disappointed. It really ruined my birthday mood. Photo was cut but cut weirdly. I gave extra space to maybe cut and hide the lines but they just left it there? Never asked me a question about frosting. I wanted a blue/aqua/turquoise cake and I got a mint green. Frosting around the cake was messy and I assume rushed and PINK. Having my least favourite colour on my 16th birthday cake was maddening. Not to mention they never asked for details? I assumed they knew what I meant when I asked for my name in a space provided but NOPE. They may as well have typed my name onto my cake photo using Snap Chat. I thought they knew to write it in frosting? NOPE. I could have forgiven all of this. All of it. If the cake tasted amazing. The cream icing tasted like the mint fluoride the dentist uses on your teeth! When I first saw the cake, I was expecting something totally different. As an artist, I would have colour matched the 'aqua' to the colour I printed but they didn't do that either! Turned out blue on the top and neon green on the sides. Don't even get me started on the chocolate shavings on the side. Clumpy mess and nothing on the top! At least match it, guys! That cake legitimately made the end of my party a drag for me. I was so excited and my guests were too but it came out like crap. I didn't have time to fix it myself or someone to. For a sweet 16 birthday full of happy memories, I hold back tears each time I think of the cake. Oh and I didn't get a discount or anything for fucking up my order. For a place where the cake artist doesn't ask questions or further details and has a 'professional opinion', they left the crispy cut edges of the cake in plan view, as well as mess up the icing or didn't even try to hide it! You could have at least used chocolate shavings to cover it but NOPE. I love cake, but just looking at that made me hate it. The only reason I didn't cry when I cut my cake was because I was surrounded by friends and family. If I had to rate my first cake: 9/10 If I had to rate my second cake: 1/10 I'm not sure what happened between those two years between both orders but you should check into that.

It was quick! 1 person ahead of me ordering :) So happy I got to try this place as it's been on my list for quite some time. 5/5 as soon as I took my first bite. Ordered the tiramisu, chocolate/hazelnut croissant and a Spanish coffee. All were excellent. I enjoyed the various flavours that were light yet not too sweet or overpowering. Flaky pastry, and so so fresh. The mortadella & pistachio. Focaccia was fresh and fillings were generous. I would highly recommend. Amazing bakery, if you're in the area, highly recommend checking it out.

First thing I noticed was their display of focaccia sandwiches. They had 4 kinds. I wish I didn't already have lunch plans. I love focaccia! The fillings offered were interesting like, mortadella x pistachios or prosciutto x truffle! I will have to return. I came here for the pastry. They had at least 16 different kinds of croissants and danishes. Not including cookies, whole pies and they also serve coffee and loaves of bread. Tiramisu danish was one of their popular items so I got that plus a plain croissant. Wow, the tiramisu was a 10/10! I mean, there was even a piece of ladyfinger soaked in coffee inside the danish! It was unbelievable. It was such a delightful dessert. As for the plain croissant, it was sadly average. It didn't have that crispy, flaky bite I enjoy. Note there is no seating area but there is a counter with a view of the parking lot.
