Quadrozzi pizza
Afrad K.

Quadrozzi Pizza first of all is a big hit when I come here, the service is average, and the ambience is okay. But the pizza is where it's at for me in particular. It not your average run-of-the-mill type of pizza from my experience. They actually make it pretty simple and delicious, not really like most pizza brands nearby. Overall, a good Bakery nonetheless from what I experienced.

Tiramisu, Sfogliatella, Custard and Cannoli. The cannoli is huge. This cost $10.17.

Came for pastries because I'm a pastry monster...and was in the area. I got a tiramisu, custard tart, sfogliatella and a cannoli. Cannoli was huge, I even saved half for the next day. It was also pretty good for a pre-filled cannoli. Lots of ricotta. I know pre-filled cannoli's are a no no in cannoli world. The four items came to a total of $10.17. There are no prices or labels marked so you kinda just have to go for it or ask about everything. Tiramisu was very good. Good balance of cream and cake. Cake was nice and soft. No flavours were too overbearing. Sfogliatella was yuck. Some people might like this, but it is not for me. I did not enjoy the orangey ricotta filling. If it was a plain cream or ricotta I would have enjoyed it more. My bf finished this one off. Like I said, some people like that and also there was no descriptions, so I just went for it. Custard was nothing special. Probably tastes better super fresh out the oven. I would not purchase again.

Inferno Pizza. Hot sopressata and hot banana peppers!

The small Inferno is my favourite spicy pizza for lunchtime. I have to admit, I'm spoiling myself by ordering the small Inferno once a week. Best way to experience this pizza is to walk into the bakery, order and pay for it at the cashier, wait 10 minutes or so, then pick it up directly from the pizza maker who makes it fresh in the wood burning oven. It comes out piping hot and a little too hot to dig in right away. Give it a few minutes, then it's pizza heaven. Personal size is good for 1 person only, especially if you're hungry. Definitely worth checking it out if you're a serious pizza lover!

Not the warmest reception for newbies with questions but the staff seem to treat the regulars well. System is definitely confusing to a newcomer. You order your dessert (there are no prices posted and many of the items are not marked so you have to ask what they are) and espresso drinks at one counter then if you're dining in, you pick up your order at another counter then have a seat. When you are done, you leave your dirty dishes at the table, you tell the cashier what you had and pay on your way out. I had a cappuccino and a chocolate cream puff. The bitter dark chocolate ganache (chocolate glaze) contrasted well with the flaky pastry and the light chocolate cream filling which was not overly sweet. The cappuccino was strong and paired well with the dessert. On my way out I sampled the Tiramisu gelato, it was way too sweet for my taste. This place is open till 11pm every day, popular with the locals, with a high noise level from all the different conversations going on around you. Now that I know the vibe of the place and how the system works, I'm hoping my next visit will be more pleasant.

I found this old local Italian restaurant a month ago. Before was mainly for the coffee and latte. Until last night my girlfriend and I tried their pizza. Very delicious. Oven made. The price is just right.

There were some seating outside but it was only the one table for two people. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The only downfall was that they ran out of meat sauce so the lasagna was out of the question but they made up for it in the pizza flavours. The menu is pretty straightforward; they offer multiple types of pizza ranging from classic meat lovers to unique ones like smoked salmon or tandoori chicken. I ended up ordering the four cheese because I was in a cheesy mood. The pizza was amazing. The crust had a nice puff up but was not so crunch that it would cut the roof of your mouth. The sauce-to-dough ratio was perfect, and neither ingredient overpowered the other. The cheeses they used (Ricotta, Feta, Bocconcini and cream cheese) didn't clash with each other, and it just seemed to be a slice of cheesy goodness with every bite. The pizza was not greasy, so no mountain of napkins was needed. A must-try if your into pizza and like my nannu says in Sicilian "Veni e pigghiati 'u divertimentu" (Come and enjoy it already).

We probably made a mistake when ordering 2 large half and half pizzas as this turned out to be a very pricey pizza dinner (over $80!!) but that's not the restaurant's fault. We'll just be more mindful next time. The pizzas were good and I loved the freshness of the toppings. Unfortunately, I did not love their crust as it was too chewy for my liking. The chicken wings we got was pretty heavily breaded which is also not my favorite way to eat them. We may come back to try their more adventurous offerings.

The toppings were packed with flavour, and every slice was delicious. The service was quick, so we didn't have to wait long for our food. The space is on the smaller side, so seating can be a bit limited, but we were still able to find a spot without any issues. The portions were generous too. We had a few slices left over to take home, which was a nice bonus. Overall, a really tasty pizza and a spot I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu.

Nice crust with a good chew. Good amount of toppings. Really solid New York style pizza. Dave Portnoys pizza review went to their downtown location and gave it a 8.4 if you follow him. There was no parking on Avenue but I found some parking on the residential street just North of the restaurant. The inside is really nice with comfy seating. Not a ton of seating but I think they get a lot of takeout. Service was good but I did have to wait more than the 20 mins they said as they seemed to be dealing with online orders.

The line was short during a late lunch on a weekday, and if we had planned better, we would have ordered ahead because you can skip the line. The service was a bit slow; we were thinking they could make so much more money if they just had a New Yorker taking orders, but it was worth the wait for some piping hot, crispy crust. We got a few slices; mushroom blanco (we tasted some truffle oil), a vodka one (all pizza should be made with this sauce instead), a marg and a pepperoni. All the spots were taken outside so we walked 2 minutes to a park and crushed our pieces there and saw a number of others so the same. We brought our empty pizza box back to patio outside the restaurant where they have a designated container for them.

We waited for 45 mins on a Friday evening, and ended up getting a parking ticket that was issued 10 mins before we were leaving. But I guess their set up does live up to the "neighborhood pizza" vibe. Their pizza is the best though and I'm not much of a pizza girl. My favourite is the burrata marinara because I find it so unique. The burrata is creamy and go so well against the crispness of the pizza. The vodka slice had the most insane cheese pull and I love that it doesn't have a strong tomato/sour taste. Next time we'll probably order ahead and just get a box!

Their pizza crust and tomato sauce are just exceptional and I knew I would be satisfied, and yes, I was very satisfied this time again!!!! We had (take out) #Pizza Margharita I appoint this as the best Margharita in Durham region. No complain. The crust, tomato sauce, cheese and big generous aromatic basil leaves - simple beauty. #Pearfect Bite This is added to another favorite of mine at 468F Wood Fired Pizza! Sweet and savory combination - Sweet pear slices meet saltiness from pancetta and 2 cheese Fior di latte, flurry ricotta. Walnut pieces added extra texture, and acidity & sweetness from glazed balsamic completes the taste of the whole. Highly recommended! #Di Parma This is good, tad salty side, but I appreciated the bitterness of arugula, nuttiness from parmigiano, and again the reduced glazed balsamic' rounding up of the whole flavors. I cannot wait coming back here again to try new pizza items (but I cannot miss Margharita - that is my must item)!
