We were staying at their other property in Pergusa and came over for dinner. We both had really bad colds so we asked to not be seated at the communal table, as we would have infected everyone. They happily set a table up in the adjacent former cow shed and lit with candles ;it was very atmospheric.
If you wish you can also stay here.
Our dinner of food cooked/made/sourced from their farm was enjoyable and the local vino suited the plates offered. Sadly due to the cold my taste was shot, but I still had an enjoyable evening.
As the place was quiet anyone who wanted a slightly more urban type vibe would be disappointed, but this place was a real local find and the owner could not have made more of an effort to try and look after two poorly visitors.
Do visit and do book ahead as their function room on a quiet Tuesday night was full and the kitchen was working at a steady pace. We were complemented by the wine beign provided on the house...a nice touch. read more
