I've been wanting to try Shelby's for years and finally got the chance during my last visit to Tubac for the festival of the arts. We apparently came in through the back entrance and the woman who "greeted" us was more than a little rude in telling us where we were supposed to wait to be seated. We were hungry, so we decided to stay, despite the uncomfortable encounter. The staff seemed resistant to merging two tables so our whole group could sit together, so after a few minutes of watching them talk about it but take no action, we offered to sit at two separate tables and were finally seated. We all ordered at the same time, but one of our table's food came out much faster than the other, which was odd. My grilled basil pesto chicken sandwich was very tasty and the fries were also good. The patio was lovely and we enjoyed the musical performance. If it wasn't for our initial staff encounters, it would have been a five-star experience.

Was able to stop by this lovely bistro while at the Tubac Festival of Art. It has indoor and outdoor seating and the weather was perfect to sit out on the patio. The live music playing outside gave it great vibes. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich and the chicken was cooked perfectly. It was so juicy. The sweet potato fries were good as well. I could tell the staff were a little overwhelmed with the number of customers, but overall they did a great job. I will be visiting again!

We really enjoyed the food here (the chicken wrap in the sun-dried tomato wrap was delicious) and the outdoor seating was really cute. We had a very kind server too. The food was fresh. I would definitely go back next time we're in Tubac.

This place is a unique corner in Tubac, AZ. Great non-franchise restaurant serving pizzas, sandwiches, burgers, and salads. It was slightly hidden and off the main road so map helps find it. The Shelby's burger was tasty, juicy, and just about perfect, accompanied by sweet potato fries. We had lunch in patio area and there was pleasant live music, too. Very friendly service and reaxed ambiance. Overall, I would definitely enjoy another burger traveling around the area next time.

Shelbys Bistro is the perfect spot for a light snack while you are in Tubac. We accidentally stumbled upon it and were dying for a shady area during a hot spring late afternoon. Shelby's has a lovely covered patio and also a small restaurant for inside seating. We wanted to people watch so we opted for the outside covered patio which was truly lovely. Service was 5 stars friendly. Everyone was really nice and due to the hot weather they always ensured our ice teas were filled and we were checked up on an appropriate amount of times. The food is a solid 4 stars. Everything was good but nothing stellar. All fine for a casual lunch in this small tourist town. We split a pepperoni pizza and a lunch salad. Both were good and hit the spot. I'd say If your in the area and looking for somewhere to stop that's adorable and quick - this is a good lunch spot to try.

The alleged strawberry margarita tasted of nothing. Very watery and blah. The eggplant stacker thing was OK but not fabulous.

We made a reservation well in advance and even then there were limited time options. The atmosphere of the restaurant is slightly upscale while still being cozy. I love all the plants! Our server was very knowledgeable and was able to give several recommendations. We ordered the grilled and chilled beets and the steak skewers for appetizers. The beets and everything that came with them was very fresh! I love anything with pickled onions. The steak appetizer was excellent and my dad could not stop talking about them. Next, I ordered the swordfish special and my dad got the pork chop. Everything was cooked to perfection and flavor was everywhere! For dessert we split the dark chocolate ganache. The ganache was very rich but paired wonderfully with the whipped cream and other flavors. I don't drink, but my dad also loved the cocktails he ordered! If Tito & Pep has been on your list do not hesitate any longer. I very much regret not coming here sooner and I highly recommend giving it a try!

We arrived just under the wire as the last table seated for the evening and were fully prepared to be turned away, but the hostess kindly welcomed us in. Our server was warm, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about both the food and its preparation. As the evening went on, we learned that this is a family-run restaurant, which only added to the charm and warmth of the experience. I ordered the mussels, one of my favorite dishes, while my girlfriend had the artichoke and mushroom lasagna. For dessert we shared the crème brûlée and a caramel nut tart with mascarpone. Both of us have traveled extensively, eaten at many excellent restaurants around the world, and this was genuinely one of the better meals we've had. The restaurant is beautifully and thoughtfully designed, the food was exceptional, and the service matched it perfectly. It felt so special, like we had our own little corner of Bisbee to enjoy the evening. We started with the appetizer sampler, and every single bite was incredible. Each item was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious. It set the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable meal. For our entrées, my husband ordered the duck and could not stop raving about it. It was perfectly cooked, rich, and full of flavor. I had the Chilean sea bass, and I'm still thinking about it. It was cooked to absolute perfection. It was tender, buttery, and it truly melted in my mouth. As if that wasn't enough, it was paired with prawns and lobster ravioli... just beyond delicious. Okay, I also have to mention the salad. The salad was fresh and amazing, and just when we thought it couldn't get any better, we were served a lime palate cleanser before our entrée. Such a thoughtful and elevated touch. We were honestly blown away. Our server was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. It made the entire experience feel warm and personal It's rare to come across service that truly enhances a meal like that. And dessert... the crème brûlée was to die for. We paired it with a 10-year tawny port, and it was the perfect ending. It was smooth, rich, and indulgent in all the best ways. This was more than just dinner; it was an experience. Café Roka delivered excellence from start to finish, and we will absolutely be back. To our wonderful server: May kindness you give return to you tenfold, May your path be light, your days be warm, And may every table you serve be filled with gratitude and joy.
