We meet Kinney in the print department and he was nothing less than amazing. He helped us choose the proper paper, and created a proof before the job was done. He was so slammed with work that he was unable to do it same day. But promised, to have it ready by 9:00am the next day. When we showed up at 9:02, he was there with a smiling face. All this on his birthday of all days. He has earned the title of "The Amazing Kenny!" So come on by Office Depot and say hey to Kenny. Bring your print jobs too. He can do wonders. My unpleasant experience was going in for a few copies (10) . I get in line & I'm told wrong line for copies. They now gave a Self Serve copy machines but only 2 and people hoarding like it's their home office. Anyway it's time consuming from getting in line to use, entering your personal information to plastic credit options, so if you're in a hurry you'll be Late getting your copies. Black ink was washy not dark enough to to Fax, I guess I got the left overs. If you choose color ink expect to pay more. At almost $.48 for each copie I was not impressed. Overall I didn't like that the cashier was available but I had to "Work" Crazy new employee less business.

    We bought an office star desk from a furniture store right before we moved. The closing was…read moredelayed, so we didn't start assembling the desk until about 6 weeks later. Upon assembly, a metal part was defective. It was missing grommets necessary for the other parts to screw into it. per the instruction, we emailed the parts department on the first of the month and provided our receipt, model info, picture, etc. We called the next week to follow up and were told they will in answer in 5-7 business days. On the 10th business day, we called and were given a hard time before being transferred to a voicemail. The next day someone called back to say our ticket was assigned to an employee, who we left another voicemail for. 2 days later we get an email that says the address and name in the receipt doesn't match our request and it has to be reviewed by quality assurance. So we explained over email we moved, we are married with different last names. 3 days later we get a response that they will send the part. Part finally arrives, is correct so we continue assembling just to learn we are completely missing other necessary parts. So we emailed the contact back. No response. 3 more days we sent a follow up email to that person and the main box. At this point, we have a partially assembled desk that's been taking up an entire room for over a month and zero response. Complete waste of money and time, and still no desk. We ask if we can return this junk somewhere, and still no response. Poorly made pieces, missing pieces, and awful customer service and still no desk. If I could give them less than 1 star I woul. Don't waste your money or time on their products.

However, when I unboxed it, I noticed the cylinder piece was missing. I wrote to their parts department asking if they could just send me the piece. The response I received was "the price for the cylinder is $20.32 + shipping". Now, I know I won this chair in a raffle, but I don't think it's right that they make someone pay for a missing piece because the manufacturer didn't do a final check of the parts that SHOULD be included in the box. I've reached out to the charity host to try and obtain the original proof of purchase, so hopefully, if I can show that this is in fact a mistake on the manufacturer's part they won't make me pay the "$20.32 + shipping". The service & the response isn't horrible, but it did irk me a bit. Will update once I receive their response.

There's way more product online but not shown in the store. So it's hard to me to look at paper or office supplies without touching them or getting their dimension. They do offer shipping and free returns but maybe it's because I'm old school and want to physically see and touch before I buy. New Pros: 1. Amazon returns processed here. You get your money credit right away plus you get a staples coupon as well 2. Passport photos taken here 3. Processing of TSA pre check can be applied here which is pretty convenient. 4. Electronic recycling available. Plus you can get bonus points for credits to use later on. Cons: 1. Less product online the floor 2. Items displays don't match the price tags. So you have to be ready to take a photo and show the staff when you check out. 3. Hard to find available staff to help you on the floor. Majority of staff is busy chi asking out or with processing Amazon returns.
