A deck was added to it in the 70's, and it lasted a long time. In the early aughts, my partner and I hired a guy (yeah, "a guy") to come replace it, as it was getting a bit rotten and dangerous. When he removed all the decking material, though, he said our supports and joists were still in good shape, so he just replaced the decking boards and rails. You get what you pay for, of course. That deck lasted about 10 years. Now it was time to take the whole shebang off and rebuild, so we hunkered down and started getting quotes. The current deck at the time was the entire length of the rear of the house. One place told me I needed to cut the deck in half and go with a paver patio to save money. My partner and I considered that for a moment, and then we said to each other, "What's fun about getting less deck?" ADF came in at a reasonable price and a nice, solid, good-looking design. Rod told us we could, indeed, save a bit of green by cutting the deck off 3/4 of the way down the house, but we agree that we would always step out on it and complain that we should have taken it all the way down, so we decided not to reduce any deck space. He helped us maximize the space and add a pergola for a bit of shade. One whole side was to be a privacy fence, too. Once we made the decision to hire ADF, we never regretted it. They showed up when they promised to, demolished the old deck and hauled it all away, and came back the next day and started building. The crew was the same for the whole job and couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating to our questions. We tried to stay out of their way. There was a rain delay, and a last-minute permit problem, but they came out and made the adjustments needed. The quality of craftmanship is excellent, from beveled edges on exposed boards to fitting the pergola onto the corner of the house perfectly. And let me tell you, this thing is as sturdy as an NFL linebacker on steroids. I don't know what the weight rating is, but it has an intense foundation and reinforcements. If there's ever a tornado coming at my house, I'm going out and getting under the deck--basement be damned! I'm very pleased with the work of this company and felt that the price was reasonable and well worth it. I know we will be enjoying our new deck for decades. Or maybe..."deck"ades. Ha, ha. Sorry.

Bravo was prompt and their quote was very reasonable. Probably the lowest as compared to all the others and they can get me in pretty quick. After I received the quote I had several questions that the rep was able to address over email. Finally got my fence install scheduled. I could even pay my deposit (50%) with a card without any fees. I got a reminder a day before my install, and the material was dropped off ahead of time. On the day, the installer (single guy since it was a small job) got to my place on time and got to work. He pulled down the old fence and installed the new fence with ease. There was no damage to my property, the fence was installed perfectly and it looked great. I would highly recommend Bravo for any fence project. They do their stuff right and their price is very reasonable. I also had their painting team come out to stain my fence (and my deck). They usually work with Sherwin Williams and Behr water based stains but I asked them what it would take to do an oil based stain. While a little more expensive they were able to accommodate my needs and get my fence and deck looking fantastic (they will pressure wash a few days before and stain after the wood has dried - 2 days at least). The wash, stain, labor and materials is all included in the price they quote. We had some scheduling challenges due to weather but their staff was super accommodating to make sure they come out at the right day/time. Highly recommend.
