I've used these guys for YEARS and they've been 3 things: 1.) Professional above all 2.) Efficient to the point of leaving me dumbfounded on a dozen projects 3.) Reasonably priced, often 20%+ less than the other quotes I get I just called them back for the 2nd time in a 2 month span (after the nasty storms that just hit the area about 1.5 months ago) to have my front yard renovated, new stuff planted in flowerbeds, and patch up some areas that needed grass. The crew showed up early, and put in a solid 9 hours of work in the brutal sun and heat. The yard and house look -so- good compared to when they started, my son ran into the house after a day out with my wife to say that "DAD! The house looks brand new!". It does, and it was worth every penny to do some overdue maintenance. Give these guys a shot, they do great work, and earn every dollar of it. They will be the only group I call when I need landscaping work of *any* flavor at my home. read more

They came and cut down 5 trees along the property line which has a wooden fence along it. Trees were tall and one overhanging my studio. They did a great job of taking them down and cleaning up. The neighbor on the other side was please with their clean up also. read more

Our backyard needed lots of cutting, clearing and trimming- from the freeze we still had some dead branches- and lots of hackberries that sneak in- to various other overgrowth. I thought the estimate was too high, we agreed on a little lower amount - still high but decided to take a chance on them since our neighbors recommended them. The whole crew showed up that morning and went to work. They worked very hard all day, cutting, clearing, trimming our whole backyard, which is big and our bushes, trees gets so overgrown - we call it little "Vietnam" The crew did a great job, but they did cut down a small tree with berries I wanted to keep- so if you hire them- be very specific as to what you don't want cut down. I am still very happy with their work- and would definitely hire them again. read more

This company left a business card on our door. We called and they came quickly. We showed them that we had two trees down on our property and we wanted them removed and tree stumped. The two men quoted us a really high price to chop up and remove the trees trunks($1200), and this did not include tree stumping. I was really surprised and told the two men, we had quotes that were around $500 but the companies could not do the work for another 3 weeks because of the storm hit so many areas. We were also told because our trees are already on the ground it would not be so expensive and it would only take about 20 minutes. Obviously, there is no climbing required, so why so much?? The two guys from Aguilar Tree Services became irritated and spoke to each other in Spanish, then told me in English. Its a lot of work. I asked them if they could come down any off $1200 because they were already at my residence. The workers were so super rude. They spoke Spanish to each other again, then told me in English, they don't have time for this and they can do another job for more money somewhere else right now. Then they walked away. Really rude men. Absolutely a waste of time. Beware, really rude company. read more

Had a good experience with them removing two shrubs, so I hired them to clear the first 6-10 ft of my property (in writing). They removed decades-old flowering shrubs that were right against my house (30 feet from the property line). Owner did come by when I complained, but there was not much he could do: the shrubs were already mowed down. read more

Joe, the owner and his crews are awesome! Joe walked the property and showed us what needed to be done to repair tree damage and have our yard looking great. Very competitive bid. Two people came to the door with the business card and offered to give us a free estimate. I didn't ask questions regarding tree health because I only needed trees removed (no trimming). It's not fair of me to say that they wouldn't have known as much as an aborist since I didn't ask, but I to think that if I needed trees trimmed I might feel more comfortable using the other company who sent an aborist but was almost twice the cost. What earned my business is that they started the work immediately. They take cash or check only, but to have someone show up and knock something off the to-do list in about an hour...I didn't mind running to an ATM. I kept their card and will use them again. read more

After walking my entire yard, we agreed on the price and they were able to come that day and complete the job in a few hours! Did exactly what we discussed and extra! Hard working and very polite. Aguilar trimmed our trees a couple of years ago, and did a good job. They returned this December for a followup. In addition to normal trimming, we discussed removing a dead tree. His estimate (including stump grinding) was about 500$ less than other estimates. He did say he would come back after the new year to clear the stump. Trees are trimmed beautifully, they collected all of the limbs and leaves from the job, AND raked and cleaned my yard. That was unexpected. Feb 12, and I hear grinding in my front. Aguilar was grinding away at the stump. When we was done, he got out the blower to clean up. Here is the kicker. He didn't just blow it into the street like most people. He blew it out of the street to collect it all and threw it in the back of the truck. Yard is clean, trees are trimmed, and stump is ground. read more

We purchased a lot that had 27 Oak trees that hadn't been touched in over 30 years... ball moss everywhere! Plus the whole 1 acre lot was overgrown and unruly. Jeremiah and his crew did a great job cleaning up the trees - they look beautiful and happy to be healthy again - and the overgrown places. Reasonable price (I compared w 2 other companies) and Jeremiah was knowledgable and easy to work with. I only gave 4 stars because his crew left all their lunch trash on my lot and I had to call them back to finish cleaning up some areas they missed. I appreciated that they came out quickly and finished the job tho. :) read more

They are out trimming oak trees in the middle of oak wilt season. It's illegal in some municipalities to trim oak trees this time of year due to oak wilt. This could cause all the trees in the neighborhood to die. Go with another trimming company that will take care of your trees and not try to expose them to disease! read more

I could not be more pleased with the tree and lawn service I get from this team! They do the BEST job at the BEST price. They've expertly trimmed our aging trees in the past and done a fantastic job on our lawn whenever we've needed them. They are great about fitting us in their schedule. They do it all! Remove tree, grind stump, level ground, fix the part of the fence that the tree fell on. They've also mowed and edged my lawn, weeded and mulched my flower beds, trimmed shrubs and trees. Aguilar Tree Service has done great work for me twice over a period of 3 years. First time they removed a "too" giant Arizona Ash and ground the stump. Excellent work. Most recently they removed 3 big hackberries. Both times there were big limbs over houses and they took care of it with no problems. They do fast excellent work, haul off all of the limbs and trunks and leave the yard clean. I highly recommend them. read more

Just like the other reviewer, I have nothing but praise for these guys. They were working on a neighbors yard, stopped by to ask if we had any projects, and we actually needed some limbs cut away that were leaning on the roof of the house, plus odds and end including hauling fallen trees out of a ravine. They also sealed all the trees where they'd cut branches off. The price was fair, but the work was AMAZING! I looked out the window and thought "I'm going to have some work to do cleaning up the driveway and garden from all the branches and debris that fell" during their work. The driveway and garden was so clean after they finished I could have eaten off it! So now, we will use only this team, probably a couple of times a year. Excellent service, hard workers, have no hesitation in telling you to use them! read more

These guys are great. They were doing a job nearby and stopped to see if we had anything we needed done. I had a couple of limbs in the back that needed trimming to get away from the house and a tree stump out front that needed to be leveled. They offered a fair price, did amazing work, with cuts to the trees all properly sealed, and cleaned everything up afterwards. Don't hire this guy. I'm frustrated with the unscrupulous delivery of obnoxious business cards that have been glued to my passenger door and windshield on at least two occasions. They offer a good price if you need a tree removed, but the tree trimming/pruning is done incorrectly according to a top local arborist. I had some tree trimming performied by Aguilar, then later had to have an arborist out due to concern about oak wilt. I didn't have oak wilt, but the arborist said whoever cut my trees had "poodle dogged" them. This is where all of the lower branches and inner branches are cut away leaving the canopy high and inside of the tree clean and sparse. The arborist explained that trees are less able to withstand strong gusts of wind and more likely to fail, losing large branches, when they are cut this way. I had the arborist service correct the work and my trees seem really happy. Would consider having Aguilar out for tree removal, but will stick with an arborist for tree trimming. read more

We were thrilled with Aguilar Tree Services. They "cold called" us at the end of the day. We were probably easy to spot - our 20 year old oak was in desperate need of trimming on a street with very groomed trees. Basically they were wrapping up work elsewhere nearby and the owner, Jeremias, was trying for one last job. They gave us a great deal and went to work almost immediately. About an hour later or so later, our crazy huge and bushy tree was trimmed beautifully. They raised the canopy well over our roof, cleaned up all the branches and leaves and used pruning spray on the cut edges on the tree. We LOVE what they did to our tree. They worked quickly and well and shaped the tree in a way I wouldn't have been able to visualize before they started. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for fast, reasonably-priced tree services. read more

I did not have any business with them. I came across them when they were sitting on my front lawn eating - my dog was barking for a while before I came out to find out. Was met with 4 or 5 men and I asked them what they were doing and they gestured nothing. (Later found some leftover fast food from fast Freddy's - receipt, napkins and a couple bags). I asked them to leave and one guy said whoa or gestured whoa. Found the card on my front door and called the company and learned they did work for a guy 2 doors down from me. I happen to know the owner of the house who moved away long ago but still rents out the house so called her and she was surprised to learn that she did not know about this. Called this guy and was hung up twice. Came across leftover tree trimmings and nearly fell over a water meter hole that was removed for some reason. Clearly needs training in courtesy and respect for others. Would not recommend them as I have my own guy who does my tree along with others. read more
