I just thought it was part of the process. For two years I kept most of the weight off but started gaining weight back little by little. since then, I gained back 50 of the 70 pounds. Because of this I decided to do a gastric bypass to sleeve surgery. I did my surgery with a different doctor here in Orlando. I am currently into the first week of doing the surgery, which I did on June 4th 2025. When they went in to do my surgery they saw that my sleeve wasn't done right. She called it a dumbbell look type of sleeve. I just did my first virtual visit with her and she explained it to me. The part on top of my stomach was never worked at. It had a pouch to it and that it had several turns coming down from it. They called it "a retained fundus" ( a large portion that should have been removed but wasn't) They fixed my sleeve so that it was correctly done while doing a gastric bypass. We really don't know what these doctors are do8ng to us. We just trust them to always do what is best for us. I can't tell you with 100% accuracy if my current surgery was done right, I just have to wish that my doctors team did everything right. So far I've been recuperating great and feel good about my decision to have the surgery again. Dr. Sosa didn't do my surgery correctly and because of this I gained a lot of my weight back. I just wanted to let everyone know what happened to me. I initially gave him a great review but today I wish I hadn't.

Since then he's moved locations to the building down the street, the office is bigger and more updated that his previous location. The staff is REALLY friendly, instead of calling me to the window for my information the receptionist walked out with a clipboard and handed it to me while taking my insurance card and picture ID. Seldom have I ever seen this happen at a doctor's office. I arrived 15 mins before my appointment and was out in an hour and a half, which was great, they don't double book. I was called in 30 mins after check in, the nurse took my vitals and weighed me. The ONLY thing that sucked was the blood pressure machine (automatic one) it has a death grip! Very friendly nurse, everyone knows how much it sucks to be weighed... It's like you're being put on trial, any ways she was super relaxed and chill. I was put in the room to wait for the doctor, roughly 10-15 mins later he came in. Dr. Mora is very thorough and spends a great deal of time with each patient. He's very caring and offers alternatives to whatever your ailment is. Check out is a breeze since everything is digital he had all my prescriptions ready to go as soon as he exited the room.
