I am dividing this review into three parts. Actions before surgery, the surgery and the actions of…read morethe staff afterward​. Pre-op - the scheduler was very patient. I moved the procedure three times. She made sure my referrals and preop were​ all locked on. Very smooth process. Procedure - at Baptist Health South. Very easy process and Dr.​ Pernas was a pro the whole way. Kept my family well informed afterward on how it went and what next. I was very well taken care of on time and with minimal pain because of the staff. Post op - this is where this review could have gone from four to two. There was an issue with the referral for the post-op​ visit. It was not the best of situations. However,​ Dr. Pernas got involved as did his office manager Susana and things worked out. They got it and hopefully,​ the rest of the staff does too now. A quality caregiver​ with generally a pretty good staff. We all have bad days and I am chalking the issue I had up to that. If you need an ENT that will lay out what is clinically indicated and help you make care decisions best for you then I can recommend Dr. Pernas and his associates.

He was able to help right away and target my problem, I had a case of Strep Throat that had caused a small abscess due to first set of antibiotics didn't work and I was in pain. Dr Murray was very thorough in explaining everything and answered all my questions, and got me on the right medication and within 24 hours I was already feeling better & relieved. All first time patients need a virtual appointment first. I am on the west coast so this was perfect for me and I was ok with the wait and the early time. The day of appointment finally came, I get up and try to call. I get nothing but voice mail. I left a message. For days this happens without hearing back. I make another virtual appointment hoping this time I'd get a response. I end up hearing that the website is no longer in use and Dr Murray only makes appointments VIA INSTAGRAM. I am serious. On Instagram you find a link to connect to his assistent's WHATSAPP! There I get to hear Dr. Murray doesn't practice any of the specialties he brags about on his website, does not work with any insurance and SOLELY DOES NOSE JOBS. He wasted my time thinking I found the specialist I need, waiting patiently for an appointment, that did not happen, then to find out all that was nonsense and he only does nose jobs.
