I moved the procedure three times. She made sure my referrals and preop were​ all locked on. Very smooth process. Procedure - at Baptist Health South. Very easy process and Dr.​ Pernas was a pro the whole way. Kept my family well informed afterward on how it went and what next. I was very well taken care of on time and with minimal pain because of the staff. Post op - this is where this review could have gone from four to two. There was an issue with the referral for the post-op​ visit. It was not the best of situations. However,​ Dr. Pernas got involved as did his office manager Susana and things worked out. They got it and hopefully,​ the rest of the staff does too now. A quality caregiver​ with generally a pretty good staff. We all have bad days and I am chalking the issue I had up to that. If you need an ENT that will lay out what is clinically indicated and help you make care decisions best for you then I can recommend Dr. Pernas and his associates.

You cannot make an appointment and when you have one it is impossible to reschedule or cancel. They say to call, email and text and you get zero response. When you do speak to them they have no record and just charged me for an appointment I had to miss over an emergency without willing to look at all of the attempts I made to contact them. I will need to find a new place. This place is unethical and not deserving of the patients that still put up with these low standards of service and care.

March 1, no vials and their previous shot didn't hold and I was so sick I had trouble working a full day. Never returned any of my calls of desperation. No phone service to the offices as well. Vials arrived after my lawyer threatened them with a suit. No call to me of arrival of overnight package. I called on the 15th of March, they arrived but they were too busy to call. Had pages and pages of other abused patients and didn't call them either. Not a call from Kentucky with an apology either.

I researched and decided to try this place. After an extensive (and painful) testing process they came up with the custom solution to my asthma/allergy problem. It was definitely a commitment on my end because in order for it to work, I had to commit to a series of frequent shots. I started going twice a week, then once, then every 2 weeks, every 3 weeks, monthly, every other month. For about 2 years. Yes- two years. It was quite a long time, but I have been asthma free since 2014, and I am very thankful. Pros: my problem was solved! Cons: frequency of the treatment, commitment on my end, painful. Also, appointments are not respected, make sure you have some extra time to spare. Theres always tons of children, sick, coughing, sneezing, etc. Makes you want to wear a face mask to avoid getting germs- but HEY, it is a doctor's office, so just deal with it. I do recommend this facility for allergy treatments.

The nurses are very nice and helpful. Also I actually have gotten better with my allergies and I'm very, very thankful for that!
