She has coffee, snacks, books and toys for kids, comfortable couches to sit on - her bathroom even had makeup and hair products for touch ups if needed!! (she also does maternity photos I understand). She had a very fast turn around to get the photos to us for viewing (next day!), and the photos were so beautiful! Whether you are going out on a tour or chartering the Wilma Lee, your experience will unbeatable! I asked my husband what he wanted to add and he said it perfectly, "the Wilma Lee skipjack is the only way to charter or tour in Annapolis." We are so excited for any future events we hold with the Annapolis Maritime Museum. Paige, the venue manager, is a GEM! She has gone above and beyond to facilitate our event. We booked the Fireworks from the Bay cruise on the Wilma Lee. It was the best experience ever. We…read morehave done the other sailing cruise from Annapolis several times, but this was so much more enjoyable. The boat is a historic vessel, the crew is knowledgeable and friendly, and they really put in a lot of effort to make it an amazing experience. We boarded at 7:15 pm, received the safety briefing from the captain, and learned the history about skipjacks oystering on the Bay. The ticket price included drinks (a nice selection of beers, wines, soda, and hard seltzer). Music (oldies favorites) was playing. They had prepared little goodie bags that included swag like little pinwheels and glowsticks and a bagged snack. They also passed out individual small charcuterie boxes with skewers of meat, cheese, and olives, plus a separate container of tiny crackers. The captain let people help the crew unfurl the sail, and he took us way out to see a visiting frigate. There were views of the Bay Bridge and lots of other sights. Around 9 pm, the boat was back in position for a great view of the fireworks. There is nothing like seeing the fireworks from the water. And the ticket cost goes to a good cause--maritime education and preserving this unique vessel.

Probably wondering about the murder mystery part - well, towards the end of the main course, the mystery began! The actors were clearly enjoying themselves and while sometime it was a bit corny, it was so funny. My husband and I had a great time. And there was even a prize to be won. The views from the water were beautiful. Once the mystery was over we ventured onto the top and took a few photos and hung out. We had a chance to talk to some of the actors and they were so nice and fun. They clearly enjoy this job. I would recommend this as a wonderful date night or family fun night or even as the previous poster mentioned wonderful for a small wedding! The service was really that good!

Working with Aundre was easy. When I first spoke with him he was understanding and clearly took in my expectations and ideas for a session. He record on time and had all of his equipment with him. He was able to setup and breakdown quickly. The session went by so fast because I had a good time. He coached me on my positioning and took into account my personality to bring out the best shots. The best thing we did for our engagement/wedding was have Aundre as our photographer. He took the time to get to know us and exceeded our expectations of what we wanted. He is punctual, friendly, creative and very understanding, hands down the nicest guy to work with. The glowing reviews on Google and the gorgeous images on her website unequivocally speak to the talent and professionalism of Heather Crowder and her photography. Additionally, she is a beautiful and delightful person. Earlier this year I needed new professional headshots. I fumbled around the internet trying to find the right photographer for me and then I received a graduation announcement in the mail that included a stunning photo of the graduate taken by Heather Crowder. At that point I was positive that Heather Crowder was my photographer of choice. I subsequently looked at her website and the Google reviews which further bolstered my confidence in her abilities and my choice. I had several email exchanges and phone calls with Heather in advance of my session and all of them were warmhearted and beneficial. I felt well prepared and at ease with Heather when picture day rolled around! I also used the professional hair and makeup artist provided by Heather and she was top notch! Generally, I would much rather go to the dentist or jury duty than get my picture taken but Heather made it a comfortable experience and my images turned out better than I could have imagined! Heather knows how to give directions for the perfect, flattering pose. She also reads body language well and could tell when a pose felt unnatural for me or I was getting tired or too warm. Heather's talent goes beyond the camera. On the day of my session Heather helped me pick out my outfits and assisted me with getting jewelry on, rolling cuffs, etc. I really appreciated having her help me with these details. I also appreciate that she understands branding and knows how to create photos that represent one's person brand. She wants everyone to look and feel like the best version of themselves and she was instrumental in helping me achieve that. I had my photos taken at the lovely Lightbox Studio in the Annapolis Arts District on West Street. The studio place is bright, contemporary and inspiring but for those who prefer another location, Heather can accommodate that as well. Regarding the Lightbox Studio, there is some nearby street parking and a garage about a block away so that was convenient. I love my portraits taken by Heather and I hightly recommend her!
