The customer service we experiences was unfortunately extremely rude and disrespectful during our last communication with Ahona Gutters. We followed up with this email and received the below response. Good afternoon Ken, We have been loyal customers. Your company installed gutters on our home and two greenhouses. We are planning 6 more greenhouses and were planning to order them through your company as your work has been excellent. Your company recently sent us the attached quote for another gutter order. However, today I called your office and a woman answered. Her name is Rachel and she was extremely rude and abrasive. The reason for my call was to verify the color chart which states the following on your site: Note: The colors shown on this page may appear slightly different than the actual gutter material. When providing our Free Estimates we will provide you with a sheet that has painted samples which are an exact match. We can also mail you metal scrap samples upon request for a very small fee if you plan to order your gutters from the Ahona Gutters D.I.Y.Store. I simply asked to see a better sample of the weathered copper as I am staining the concrete floor of  the building also in weathered copper but the color on the chart appeared to be closer to black than green. We feel that as customers we deserve courtesy and answers to simple questions. We have decided to take our business elsewhere and are seriously disappointed to be treated in such a rude manner. He says my husband picked the color which is a lie. I am the one that called them so they should have been approving whatever with me anyway. We already had the color on the rest of the house. They just needed to match it. The guy that eventually did the lanis had no problem finding the same color. Tahitian bronze. It's standard at HPM. They are still blaming us. Arrived at 7am and completed work by 12:30pm. I have a single story 2800 sf house so there were lots of gutters. Walked around the house with Austin and they made sure where where we wanted the downspouts. Great service, comes with 6 year warranty. Got estimate right away and on there schedule within a week of me giving the okay to start. They communicate right away. Would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone. read more

Ken came to look at our house for rain gutter installation. He was in a rush and rude and didn't want to put a gutter in two parts of our roof he thought we wouldn't need them. I should have not had them install our gutters but I did. Now when it rains the water spills over the roof and falls on our deck. When I called to ask if they could come and put a gutter on that portion of the roof he was rude and didn't want to do it. He said it wasn't worth his time and hung up on me. Also the pipe they installed on the ground leaks because of a bend where pipe joins to another pipe. They rushed the job and where very unprofessional and don't want to come back to fix what doesn't work. read more

The one star review for Ahoha Rain Gutters is bogus. They just finished my house and did an excellent job on a situation that was not straight forward - mismatched roof levels, high-flow valleys and old downspouts. Ken, the owner, runs the crew, so you will not be dealing with any third parties here. They made the seamless gutters on the site, and put them up carefully and thoughtfully to insure good drainage. Highly recommended. Any customer who wants new gutters should have the attachment boards, (fascia), scraped, sanded, patched and repaired prior to installing new gutters. That is not the job of the gutter installer. Ahoha Rain Gutters was happy to haul away the old gutters as part of the job price that was very competitive. These guys are worth waiting for. read more

Wow!...Top notch service in a world that currently has a great lack in customer care...professional, fast, knowledgeable, friendly, and quality work!...I needed new gutters on my house and after consulting with several friends for recommendations was referred to another business than this one...unfortunately "their" customer service was abysmal...I called almost daily for 3 weeks and never got a live person to answer the phone, always voicemail and after the 3rd week eventually got a return call where I was informed that they "thought" they had gotten back to me...after some lengthy discussions I was informed that the location of my property was unserviceable by this business...they then (very thankfully) referred me to Ahona Gutters...after reading the reviews I was put off at first by the apparent one bad experience that someone had had with a previous (no longer working for them) employee but decided to give them a call anyways...and boy was I STOKED that i did after receiving such quality service!!!...a real live person answered the phone on the 1st call and they got back to me within a day to schedule a consultation for an estimate...I didn't even need to be there for that as they were able to access my property without me having to be present and within a couple days I got an email with an estimate that included a very reasonable price...we then set up an appointment time and due to a cancelation on their end, they were actually able to come a few days earlier and get things done...quality workmanship with a friendly, very knowledgeable, and trustworthy crew and boy they were wicked fast!...they literally had my entire house guttered and were done and gone in about 3 hours!!!...I had ideas about where I wanted down spouts but with their skill and knowledge they were able to determine the best places to have them according to water flow with the odd leveling of my house....I can't recommend these guys enough! you will be stoked with the work they do, the prices they do it for and the speed with which they do it... 2 thumbs up, 5 stars, and A++ for this company in a world of businesses who don't seem to give much consideration for their customers read more

I had Ahona Raingutters install a 20 foot section with one down drain pipe. The young worker / helper was good and I even gave him a $20.00 tip. My problem was the drain pipe tube is beige in color and the joint sections are white. I did not notice the different colors until I went to clean the down pipe. I called and the owner / partner and she told me that they can't control the color or shades of the pipe they purchase. I explained to her that both my house and daughters house have all white PVC pipe and joints. I also mentioned that I see the white pipe @Home Depot. Her reply was that she would send the workers back but she would write me another invoice / bill that I would have to pay. I told her that I would change the down pipe myself. She also told me that this is normal in the PVC pipe color / shade and I asked then why don't you let the home owner know before the installation so that they can make the choice of weather or not they are ok with the different color shades.
