When we arrived, YANNI was there waiting. Drove 8 of us to Duck Key (one and 1/2 hour ride) to our hotel resort. We asked for some restaurant suggestions, which he was able to give us and suggested we call and if he was not available, would schedule us another driver, which he did. Yanni was great. He was recommended to us by the staff at Faro Blanco Resort after we discovered there were no rental cars available in Ft Lauderdale last weekend. We made arrangements for Yanni to round-trip us, and he picked us up at the Ft Lauderdale airport and delivered us to Marathon in short order. He even made a stop at the grocery store so we could have snacks on the way. Four days later he took us back to Ft Lauderdale from Marathon. The trips cost about the same as a rental car would have, and we didn't have the added stress of driving or having to deal with securing and returning a rental car. My family and I booked an Ahoy Taxi for our keys trip! Our party of 6 stayed on Duck Key and hired Ahoy to take us to Key West for the day and then bring us back that evening. Our driver's name was Yanni and he was absolutely wonderful providing us with a text an hour or so before pick up to confirm as well as providing a locals suggestions and accommodating our every request! The vehicle was clean, spacious and the air conditioning was on point (very important in FL)! I would highly recommend Yanni and Ahoy to anyone looking for transportation in the Florida Keys! For the past week we've been staying at Hawk's Cay and have needed transportation 4 of the evenings to have dinner at restaurants in Marathon. We were picked up by Mr Yanni of Ahoy taxi the first night, and we liked him and his excellent customer service so much we called him exclusively. Yanni is very professional and nice to talk with. His service is prompt, friendly and reliable. The cab is clean and comfortable with ample room for 5. Yanni gave us some good restaurant tips and other local information. Excellent service. We needed a taxi in a bind at Marathon Key. I had my two small kids (with car seats) and my mother with me while my car had broken down. Ahoy Taxi were there for us, came within 10 minutes even sooner than they said they would, with a beautifully well-kept and clean minivan cab. The driver was very courteous, friendly, polite, and professional. The 50 mile drive was in great comfort in the spacious minivan cab.
