I've used this firm a couple of time now. Great work on upholstery and auto detailing. (revised review - changed to 4 stars). Why 4 stars instead of 5? Pricing and customer experience. Pricing is on the high side - but worth the results on better vehicles or difficult jobs. Customer experience can improve on the front end. My daughter called them to set up interior detailing on her Ford Escape. They directed her to the website to identify the 'package' she wanted. We asked for the Gold Interior Package and set the appointment. I took the vehicle in and the desk attendant (Daniel) and I went out to the car and reviewed the interior conditions - he promised to call me if there were any additional charges needed. The next day the car was ready. It looked awesome! Problem: the price at pickup was much more than the "starting at" pricing shown on the website - in part because they consider the Escape to be a 'medium sized' vehicle - which was not stated on the phone or when dropping the vehicle. But, the main difference was they put us down for the Gold Package (interior + exterior) rather than the requested Gold Interior Package. They entered the wrong item into their computer despite phone and in-person conversations. This might have been caught if they had provided a cost estimate prior to starting the work. They did not - only offered to call if 'additional' work was recommended. Initially, when I pointed out that we had requested - and discussed - interior detailing only, they stuck with the charges for the work they did rather than what we requested. But after reviewing my comments and looking back at the initial call notes, they admitted the error was theirs and adjusted the charges for only the interior work. 4 out of 5 for consistent great work both on leather repairs and detailing - and willingness to review issues and make things right. Points off as would have been better to have correct charges up front...or corrected at time of service. Kudos for stepping up and making things right in the end! read more

We had them replace a section of cloth that was tearing on the driver's seat of my wife's civic. The result looks good, but it was not cheap. My biggest complaint is that after we had agreed to go with their estimate, scheduled the work, dropped off the car to have the work done, then they called us and wanted $75 more to "repair/replace" the foam. It was quite obvious beforehand that the foam was all mashed down in that area. Felt like a cheap shot to tack on more to what already seemed like a high estimate. They should have at least included the possibility of that extra charge in the initial estimate. read more

I bought a per-owned truck to get the interior cleaned. The previous owner had smoked a tobacco pipe and the interior smelled like smoke. The owner of Austin Interior suggested a ozone treatment and a full interior detail. When the cleaning and treatment was complete the truck looked NEW! The smell of tobacco was very slight but not overwhelming like it had been! Austin Interiors did a great job! read more

I had never gotten my car seats steamed and I've had my car since 2012 so they were pretty bad! I was shocked when I saw the results from steam cleaning with Ai. Perfection each and every time. We have felt it would be impossible to find someone else that would do such an excellent job so we just keep coming back at least once a year. We keep our car in good clean condition so we questioned the first time whether it was worth the money to have this done. We were blessed with winning the first detailing job at a charity auction and couldn't believe what a magnificent job they did the first time. Vehicle was 2 years so in good condition but when we picked it up it looked better than when we purchased it. That visit was about 6 years ago and as stated we keep coming back year after year. Vehicle is now 8 years old and we get compliments all the time on how great the car looks. The compliments usually are followed by "How old is your Jeep Cherokee?" They always seem to disbelieve the years stated. So long story short, no matter how old or in what condition, AI Auto Works will make it better. I bought a used 2014 Jeep Wrangler with leather that was very nice with one problem. It smelled like an ashtray. Really strong. It also needed a good cleaning. I got it detailed and steam cleaned with ionizer treatment. It was done early and looked, and smelled, great. I was pleasantly surprised. It was done at the estimated price and was well worth it. It wasn't cheap at $276 but felt like a bargain. I was walked through everything that was done before I was asked to pay. Nobody tried to sell me anything I didn't want. It was a great experience overall. I will be going back to Austin Interiors for all of our vehicles in the future. My daughter's Saint Bernard recently ripped the leather in her back seat of her car. I thought it was a lost cause but now I'm going to take it there and see what they can do. read more

We purchased a great used Expedition, but it needed new leather on the 2 front seats, & on the seat portion only of 1 in the middle row. Austin Interiors did a fabulous job for us in replacing the 2 front, & made an in-house match for the rear seat. The vehicle looks like new inside, and they were extremely professional and timely through it all! We would highly recommend them! read more

I had a ripped front seat on my 10 year old Acura, and other seats were wrinkled and worn out. Asked for recommendation on my HOA facebook page and Austin Interiors came up more than once. Tried them out. These guys are amazing. The seats look like when I bought the car! And excellent customer service too. I interacted with Danny. He was very polite, meticulous and knowledgeable. First of all, we are very happy with the job that the folks of Austin Auto Interiors have done to our car. We have had a general interior details on our 2004 Honda Civic and it was nicely done. However, in terms of their customer service, I give them F grade. Here are the reasons. 1. They moved to a new location one week prior to our appointment and no one bothered to tell us either a phone call or an email. Thanks to a couple of guys standing outside of the old location beside the gym next door, we were able to find the new location which is a few miles north. 2. During the detailing, they asked to fill out the cell. number so that they can call us when the detail is done. Five hours later, we got suspicious because orginally we were told the whole process should take 4 hours and we would receive a call. So we had to call them to check up on them and the answer was, "Yeah, it's been done about 20 minutes ago so come and get it." Really! How kind of you for not telling us again? Two strikes. 3. When we went back to get our car, the guy just stood there as if he was expecting the tip. We have to tell you that we got a good discounted deal from Morgans Deals so we didn't pay for a full price. However, we always tip nicely if and when we feel we have received a good service. This time wasn't the case. I would not recommend Austin Auto Interiors to anyone at all. I think they need to work on their customer service a whole lot more because that's part of a good business, too. read more

Never go here again. I went on with a groupon coupon for both interioir and exterior detailing. They recommended higher package which i have not accepted. Just bcoz i didnt accept their offer they did not clean my car at all...even if i go for $15 car wash they would wash my car better than this service for sure. So i paid $69 via groupon just for cheap service. Never recommend for anyone ever. Also they are very rude especially the guy named "bobby" People are posting positives about this shop but i never had one ...not at least one guys. Go there only if you wanna accept their high priced packages. Otherwise STAY AWAY from looking at this shop. read more

I am delighted with Austin Auto Interiors. I had a really GOOD "groupon " type deal, $75 for a complete interior detail, normally $225. I love a good deal, but let me tell you, I will gladly pay full price next time. Everything about my experience was first rate from my initial call to pick up. Now this really impressed me; about a day later, I noticed a spot on my dash that apparently had gotten accidentally rubbed off during an enthusiastic cleaning. I called and explained my problem. Teresa, receptionist & all round good person, told me to come over at my earliest convenience. I did & my car was repaired. My dash was perfect once more. Great place, terrific people. They looked at it, and instead of taking a shot in the dark at something they've never worked on before, they tapped out and recommended taking it to Austin Infiniti. Took my 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 in for a cracked dash issue (if you have 2nd generation Dodge, you know what I'm talking about). Austin Auto Interiors had not only heard of this issue, but said they had done this type of service many times. Rather than replace the entire dash with OEM part (which still has the same issue!), Austin Auto Interiors would apply a dash cap over my cracked dash. It's been nearly a month since the work was completed and I have not seen any problems. I will know more as the hot summer months roll around, but as of now I am VERY impressed with the quality of work, the price of the job, and the friendliness of the staff at Austin Auto Interiors. Not only did they do a great job on my dash, but my center console had a rip - they did an outstanding job on reupholstering my center console. If you have a Doge truck with a cracked dash - take it to Austin Auto Interiors and get the job done right, fast, and at a very reasonable price. read more

I cannot say enough about Austin Interiors! We left raw chicken in the back end of my beauty 1999 Toyota 4 Runner Limited for three days in the HOT August sun. I was just sick! I found Austin Interiors online and we called after our try at getting the smell and carpet cleaning failure. Austin Interiors had us bring it in immediately and leave it. They worked with our insurance company (thank you USAA) and replaced the carpet completely in back and front. Had it Ozone treated a couple times, and we decided to change out all the seat covers since we asked how much to replace the front leather seat covers on drivers side that had been ripped. Good news, The car looks and smells (almost) like brand knew! New leather front and back, new carpet, and they ordered a couple other small parts (back window windshield wiper) that had been broken. Austin Interiors is awesome!! And I just have to say two months later, I love my sweet 'chicken' car more now than ever. I accidentally dumped a full glass of protein shake down my back seat AC duct this morning. Luckily very little got on the carpet (that I could see), but (unluckily) it was very difficult to get at. I proceeded to take apart the interior and got a few pieces off, but could only take it so far. The guys at Austin Auto Interiors took apart the entire center console, cleaned everything very thoroughly and even sanitized it for me. Now my car does not smell like chocolate and I was able to avoid the foul smell of milk in the middle of the hot summer! read more

Great work and knowledgeable staff. I took my work vehicle in for window tint. I had received three estimates prior to visiting the Austin Tint Doctor before making my decision. They beat out everyone else's price point for the 5 windows on my work car. Carson made sure I was taken care of and ensured I received the best tint based on my needs and covered every option they carried. He also showed me examples of each window tint along with advantages of each. I even came in and had the work done same day I received the quote. They carry Weather Tech mats and accessories on site. Waiting area was comfortable and water and coffee was available. I would definitely take my personal vehicle in for tinting and recommend friends and family to do the same. Lastly, while in the waiting room I overheard them telling another customer that they can turn your cloth seats into leather seats saving you a buttload of cash when buying a new car to avoid overpaying for a leather package upgrade with the dealer. I purchased an interior/exterior detail groupon a few weeks back and had my car detailed today. I was very impressed as it was by far the most thorough detailing that I've ever seen. I honestly can't remember the last time my car looked so new, fresh and clean. My sole complaint would be that they need your car the entire day, however, based on the outcome, it looks like they made good use of the time. I will definitely return for my future car cleaning needs and would absolutely recommend their services to anyone looking to have their car detailed/cleaned. read more

I did use the groupon so that made the value even greater. I had this done about 2 months ago. Had my 6 yr old work-truck detailed inside and out. of course the night i got it back it rained (has not rained for what...6 months!) so i do remember it looking really nice. the plastic dressing they used ran all down the paint with the rain and i had to spend an hour the next day cleaning it up. They offered to do it for me but i did not want to drive all the way back over. the inside is freaking SPOTLESS! Warning - the will remove and bag up Every little thing you have anywhere inside (pockets, seats, glove compt, console, ect). so they can clean it. the truck has mostly sat closed up since i got it back and it never did get that old truck smell back yet. this is a GOOD thing. really nice guys, i would definitely recommend. read more

I live down south closer to Buda than Round Rock, but I made the trip due to the positive reviews to get the upholstery of my car replaced. It was hanging and drooping in my interior. They did an awesome job, came in at the estimated amount, and it only took a day. They've also got an overnight drop box, so if you don't live nearby like me, you can drop the car off the night before and avoid driving in rush hour to drop off and pick up your car. read more

Bought a used car that needed $3K to $4K of work on the interior and convertible top. I live a long way across town and wanted to leave the car to be looked at and repaired. Apparently they have enough work that they only wanted pictures emailed for an estimate and it would be weeks to a month before they might be able to schedule repair. Pretty damn good. Took a Durango in that had been tortured by 2 kids and twice as many dogs. Picked it up and was in awe of the job that was done. After reading all of the great reviews, I was really excited to get my car detailed at Austin Auto Interiors. I even splurged for the Premium Interior and Exterior Detail Package (valued at $295)! However, I was very disappointed in the results. The base carpets seemed to be shampooed but the stains were definitely not spot treated or removed (a task I successfully completed once I got home with a good spot cleaner and some elbow grease). Also the carpet mats seemed to be neglected as they were just as stained/dirty as when I brought my car in. All of the mats were stacked on top of each other in the back and smelled of dirty water/mildew. As far as the exterior work, the clay bar seemed to do absolutely nothing. Minor scuffs (that I can remove with my fingernail) were still present. Overall, I'm very disappointed in the work put into my car. Maybe they were really busy or maybe they just didn't completely all the tasks listed in the service package. Seemed like all I received was a glamorized car wash that was definitely not worth $300...... read more

Wow! Excellent job and service! My car was really dirty due to spills, etc...most recently I spilled fruit smoothie in the passenger seat. Dropped my car off in the morning and they cleaned the upholstery, and detailed the interior and exterior. Picked it up that afternoon and I couldn't be happier! The smoothie was gone and even the ketchup on the carpet was gone. I feel I paid a fair, premium price for a PREMIUM JOB! Thank you guys! read more

My experience was not as positive as others have experienced. I'm restoring an 02' BMW 325 I. Had the headliner replaced by them. NOT..t the greatest job. Left spots on the fabric. Also used a thicker fabric which means seal isn't as efficient. The moon roof was not replaced correctly, I had to drive 20 miles back to them to have it done right. The grip on the roof cover was shattered and they super glued it back together, looks shoddy. He is rather blaze about it when I talk to him about it..It's been 6 weeks and still no replacement, I feel they haven't even tried to find the part. It may be minor to them... but not to me! $600 + several trips back for adjustments later..... I'm.. NOT HAPPY... and not so sure I'd recommend anyone to visit them. I'm hoping they will make things right, that I may give them a good review. read more

Beware!!!! The owner is very rude. I went there with a Groupon and he tried selling me a higher detail package which I was not interested in. When the job was done, I noticed a broken hand rest and some remaining dirt on the wheels. When I pointed out about the broken hand rest, he straight away denied it and asked me to go complain to Groupon. When asked about the remaining dirt, he was referring to our conversation about a higher detail package. The dirt on wheels would have gone with a simple gas station car wash. Why spend $200 when a $10 car wash can accomplish better ? Moreover the owner's rude attitude is not worth going to this business. read more
