Turkey aviator was toasted and cheese melty. It was good. A sea of lettuce. The tomatoes could have been larger or more prominent. I like tomatoes. I've had a few different salads, some of their soups, and their chicken salad. All pretty good. Again, I've never had a bad meal or experience here. Service is friendly and prompt. Food comes out quick. Place is clean. Deep booths and middle tables. Dark wood. Light atmosphere. Nice patio. For a quick sandwich soup type of deal you can't go wrong.

We ordered a grinder, a chicken salad, a kids pizza, and a few bowls of French onion soup. It must've taken at least 45 minutes to receive our food. My wife and I just ate half our meals and headed for home to get our other young guys from the bus. I finished the grinder for dinner that evening. Around 9 p things went super sideways. My stomach was destroyed. I feel like my gut is generally pretty strong but this recked me. My wife wasn't feeling well. We looked at each other and with the two of us both in bad shape we did the math. Must have been some spoiled meat. I was up all night with all the fun (graphic) symptoms of food poisoning. Feeling much better today. Hind site is always 20/20 but I would never take my family back to Grinders. We should have saw some red flags but we didn't. Terrible experience. The stuffed mushrooms were fantastic, never had them with Sausage before. I liked the house made Italian dressing so much I asked for some to take home and they humored me. I went to Costco later and picked up everything to make a salad just for this dressing. He liked his sandwich, he normally does not like coleslaw but he said it worked and liked it a lot. Our waitress ( sorry I didn't get your name ) was like a ninja. She had multiple tables and I didn't feel like she neglected us. The service is fast and accurate. The place is small, but I like how lowkey and cozy it is. My partner is pretty tall and he said he didn't feel uncomfortable and liked how quiet it was. Honestly this place is great and everyone should give it a try, we're already planning our next visit. This place put the other Italian places around it to shame in every category. It is a little bit of fruit, a little vanilla, a little cotton candy, a little touch of magic. This was my first time at this location. My family and I have been going to the one on 44 since I was a child. Homemade ice cream. Generous portions. A happy summer memory. Favorite flavors over the years: Chocolate Malt Black Walnut Hawaiian Surprise .....and the aforementioned Blue Moon

They have weekly flavors that rotate, the portion sizes are HUGE so for my 9 year old son I get a kid cone, it's plenty big, the small is 3 scoops and I can't even finish one, so when ordering size down! The only down side is that they don't take cards, I don't get to stop often unless it's planned because I don't carry cash, I wish they would add that option, but other than that it's a great place!

One barbecue, which we both really enjoy on the regular. One order I got plain wings with a side of the Nathan sauce. We have a six-year-old and he really enjoyed the plain wings. I gotta say, I think I'm gonna do the plain wings from now on with a side of the sauce. They were extra crispy and just cooked perfectly! I will also say this as a long time customer now... If you ever have a problem with your Pizza, just call and talk to them about it. They are so receptive and nice. They are always willing to make things right.
