We got seated at a tiny table right by the door which was very drafty. After getting menus, we were told they could only make us pizza (pepperoni or cheese) and maybe 1 or 2 types of finger foods. It was somewhere between 9-9:30pm so it seemed early in our opinion for the kitchen to be closed already on a Friday night, but nothing we could do to change it. If I recall the appetizer options were mozzarella sticks or toasted ravioli, but not 100% certain on that part cause it didn't appeal to us. We ordered the cheese pizza since I don't eat pork products. It was very thin with a cardboard like crust that was overly cooked on the edges (see pic with brunt crust), but the middle part was full of gooey cheese. The balance on the pizza was just off since it was overcooked on outer edges. We were starving and our options were slim so we ate it anyways. Lol The waitress offered us some complimentary popcorn from a machine in the back of the bar and then went over the speciality drink menu they had which was probably the best part of our entire experience. They do have some very eccentric libations to choose from. I chose the lavender martini (very tasty) and my spouse got a blackberry old fashioned which he also loved. The ambiance is just okay if singing karaoke completely off key with country folks is your thing. They do have some televisions for sports viewing, but this is not what I would call a "speak easy" or a sports bar. We love doing karaoke, but the vibe at this place just wasn't working for us. Overall, I would say the drink menu is what's keeping this place afloat unless people don't care about the food they eat or the company they surround themselves with. Would try again, but with a larger group of people ready to take over the karaoke scene in full force and during earlier hours so we can attempt to get some bar food too other than pizza. Also, we were coming from the murder mystery event so we were dressed up more than anyone else in the place and we felt like outsiders. This is definitely a Jean and T-shirt kind of establishment.

The service has been average overall. They have bands from time to time which is a nice selling point, except I came for a dinner one night only to learn I had to pay a cover because there was a band. I didn't love that. They appear to have a dance club type setup in the basement that is 21+. It'd be nice to have the top be more of a restaurant and the bottom be the club... but it is what it is.

Once we got there, we waited in the line for security. There were two staff members with metal detectors which is super appreciated, always love feeling secure in a big crowd. When you initially walk in, there's a huge sitting room with a bar before the actual venue. Tons of seating and it's a good place to chill before an event starts, or during if you need a break. We got a drink and headed in. It's spacious with a decent amount of standing room in front of the stage. There are several booths and vip areas for bottle service. We're not huge on massive crowds/ feeling elbow to elbow, so we stood in the back which was totally fine for us. Good standing room where everyone can still see. Sound quality and lights are great- this is probably one of the closest Vegas vibes you can get in the Lou. Servers, bartenders, security, staff were all kind and accommodating. It was wildly clean!! It was super busy and took a bit to get a drink. We had a lot of fun and I'd for sure come back if a concert struck my interest.

The bathrooms are so nice, and they have plenty of seating to chill before the show or take a break. Drinks from the bar were about $10 each for a basic rum and coke or vodka soda. Bartenders were nice and quick. I do wish the dance floor was bigger. Unless you rent a booth inside, there's not really any place out of the way to watch. And due to the amount of people on the dance floor, expect drinks to be spilled on you and the floor to be sticky. I wouldn't wear any shoes that are too nice and wish I would've thought of that before going. Still a good experience, though!

Drinks are cheap and strong, just the way they should be! The bartenders and servers here are some of the most attentive I've seen--they're making drinks while serving tables, which is top-notch service you don't find at a lot of bars anymore. Karaoke on Friday nights is a thing, and they occasionally have live bands too. 4 stars because of the cigarette smoke. It's pretty heavy inside, and even after just a few minutes picking up takeout, you can end up smelling like smoke. It's the only place in Warrenton that still allows smoking, and with the building being so small, it can get overwhelming. That said, The Hideout is still a great spot for drinks, food, and fun!
