Time for an update...still 5 Stars. This place offers several services & sells mailing supplies & fun greeting cards. The last 2 visits were all about returning an item back to a company. AIM makes it so easy! They scan & print the return label, seal the box, whatever you need. It all seems so simple in a way BUT if you went to the UPS store in the Target/Ralph's shopping center further down the road you'd think you were asking them to perform a colonoscopy! The lady working the front was rude. A couple customers in front of me requiring some fingerprints-- no big deal. However, when I walked in she did not even look up to acknowledge me or the wait. When it was finally my turn, she had a tone of voice that seemed irritated I was there, a definite change in tone from the customers she was just helping. After I greeted her, I showed her a barcode on my phone. She did not look up at me once and said " we don't do happy returns here"" in a dismissive tone. I said "oh no.?" and she said "nope!" in a rude tone still not looking at me. I was making a return and they were listed as being a Happy Return center by Happy Returns. I should have called ahead to double check, that's my fault; but should I ever need any shipping services or whatnot, I would not recommend this place due to her attitude alone. read more

I recently started taking return shipments to this little store, since they take packages for UPS, DHL, FedEx, and USPS. With all of the stores closed now, we all are shipping back our returns, so it is nice to have all the shippers under one roof. I have been twice recently, and both times I have had heavy packages. The first time, there was a lady behind the counter, and she said she couldn't leave the store, since she was the only one there. She told me to ask another customer that happened to be in the store. I didn't want to do it, so she finally helped bring in my package. Today, I believe the owner was there, and he was able to help me with my packages. He methodically scanned each package slowly and separately, so I could write on the receipt what each item was. He was nice and patient. They have some nice supplies, greeting cards, and other goodies in there. So if you need that stuff right now, it's much more pleasant going there, than standing in line to get into Target. read more

I've gone here several times simply out of convenience due to their close proximity to meetings and where I live. First of all, you need to know that it seems like the only person that works here is the owner. Monthly, I would use their services for copies for my meetings and every time, customer service was scarse, I'd have to wait a long time to get a question answered and when I did get help the owner would be in a crabby mood. Overall, I got what I needed up until the last time I used their services. I arrived 5 minutes before they closed and the worker refused to allow me to get copies because I "always come 5 minutes prior to closing" and she was annoyed by that. I was appalled by her refusal to allow me to my a measly 20 copies as I usually did on my meeting nights - especially BEFORE closing time. So I did what any consumer would do and asked to get the name of her boss or manager. I found out she was the owner and I was pretty much stuck with dealing with her attitude. I decided never to go there again and use the UPS Store down the street (which I have ever since). One year later, I realize that I need to open a Mailbox. I thought to myself, I should give it another try since they are in fact so close to my home. Maybe she was just having a bad day the last 8-10 times I came in there. After all, everyone deserves a second chance right? Wrong. The crabby patty owner was there as usual working with a customer when I arrived. Was she happy? Uh...no, it's almost like she grossly unhappy with her life. I waited 10 minutes at the counter not even to simply get an "I'll be with you in a moment". I didn't even get that. When she finally did give me the prices on the Mailbox, I decided that there is no way that I will deal with someone like that on a monthly basis. I will continue to use the UPS Store thank you very much. read more

I've been here many times over the years. I came in for a simple notary service. Had to wait...no problem. There were at least 2 employees working and the store was not busy at all. I complete my notary business and ask the Indian/Asian man (?) ,who I believe is the owner, about shipping a package to Mexico. I wanted to verify the address in the system and find out the cost as this would be the first time shipping to a small town in Mexico. The address was on my phone ( FB message) and I could not access the wireless. I asked for the guest password and he said there wasn't one. If I wanted to access the Internet I would have to pay to use their computers. Really? I'm wanting to utilize your mail service and I have to pay to do so? No thanks. Having another question about notary I called right back and asked him why I was hung up on because I had another question. He stated he answered my question and hung up on me again! I needed to send a package via Federal Express today and went to my usual spot, Aim Mail Center in Los Alamitos. There was a couple sitting at the counter being helped and another couple waiting in front of me. The couple sitting turned their heads, and I realized neither of them had face masks on. No mask, scarf, nothing. I feel terrible for the employee who was 2 feet from this maskless couple for the 10-15 minutes or so I was there before fleeing from the business. It is December 2020. I shipped a large package of Christmas gifts on December 28th to my sister in Kentucky (yes, she knew they would be there well after the new year). I spent $57 on packaging and shipping costs and delivery confirmation with the promise that the package would arrive by Saturday, January 5th. A week seemed reasonable to me since it was still around the holidays and it was going ground by USPS. It's now January 12th and the package I sent never arrived. I'm starting to think they never sent it...or maybe stole it? I'm feeling like this because I sent another small package ($15 shipping) by USPS ground last week and it arrived to the same address yesterday...less than one week! Where is the other package they shipped??!! Fifteen days is ridiculous. I'm so frustrated because, of course, I cannot find the receipt in all my crazy holiday mess around the house so I have no tracking number. I won't trust or use this place ever again. read more

The man working there told me that I needed to wait longer until he was done helping everyone else in line. There were four people behind me. He said this process would take 15-20 minutes, so he wanted to help others first. Fine. I was a little irritated that they didn't tell me this earlier before I waited for ten minutes. I told him I'd come back later. I came back the next day at 2:30. When I walked in, only one customer was there, getting serviced. Decent prices but the customer service is incredible. The owner, as well as the blonde lady behind the counter are super friendly and extremely helpful. This is my third time here and I had a 13oz postage but my package turned out to be one ounce more. Instead of risking additional postage (my pre paid had tracking) possibly getting my package returned to my address, they helped me find the right envelope that brought the package down a few tenths of an ounce lighter and packed it for me as well. read more

I went to AIM Mail Center, on December 8, 2014, I waited in line for over 20 minutes. I witness a gentleman on a scooter state he needed to send a fax and asked if he had a fax cover sheet he could fill out, i believe the man behind the counter was the owner he chose to ignor the gentleman and just faxed the paperwork. I was really shocked... The next customer had 2 letters to mail out, the man behind the counter quickly charged her, in such a hurry the poor thing came back and had to ask "did you put the postage on the envelops?" I was surprised how short he was with people. When it my my turn I asked " are you able to mail out this flat rate box for the flat rate? He replied yes, so I handed him the box, which was a medium size $12.95 flat rate. He then started taking measurements, I said, it's a flat rate, $12.95, he replaid yes I just need to measure. I told him it's just cookies for my finance he having ins a hard time at his pre mob, no response.. Just to clarify I was in my military uniform, I was not in any hurry, I told him they were just cookies to brighten his day.. He then said I owed $25.92, I said no it's a flat rate box. He said no I have to charge a little more, there is no waiting here, and then stuck the postage sticker on! WHAT A jERK! He flat out lied to me! He charged me over $13 dollars, and giggled telling me I didn't have to wait! I turned to the women behind me and asked, " did you hear him tell me it would be the flat rate?" She stated " yes, dear I Did." He then told me well there is no waiting, I said I waited over 20 minutes your not a good person you flat out lied to me! Then told him I will get you on your yelp review! What a jerk, I saved no time, I would much rather go to the post office, this guy didn't even ask if I was shipping dangerous out goods, he would rather charge double and have planes blow up..
