I love this post office. Small and no lines,fast and easy just how I like it. Paul is always so kind! Thank you so much for always treating me with respect. 5 stars for him. 0 star for the older woman here.. Everytime I come here it's always Paul but maybe like 2-times I have seen the lady and she is so rude to me. I came in here as I always do grabbed a box and started to package my item that I'm shipping, finished brought it to the counter along with my QR code and she told me in a very rude way " you have to pay for the box "ummmm duh? Isn't that why I'm bringing it up to the counter? I don't appreciate being treated like that and it did upset me cause i come here regularly and Paul always knows I pay for my shipping supplies right after. read more

The smallest post office I've ever been to but the nicest worker!! And just one worker!! We don't have this kind of patient and nice post office workers in Long Beach. And that's not a joke at all. This is "my" post office (aka - Paul's House). Paul is the mainstay of this office, and he is what makes this post great! He's knowledgable, friendly, and expedient! Whatever you need, if USPS offers it Paul will see it handled proper. Service wise I only needed a single box shipped today, nothing special, but I was happy to get out of the office in time to come by Paul's place and say hi. USPS prices are the same anywhere you go. The value is in the employees, and in this case it's above expectation. :) read more

Post office at its finest. I love this location for many reasons. One. It hardly ever gets too crowded. Two. Service is quick. Three. Service is polite. Four. It is a smaller post office, but serves all its intended purpose. Five. Located in a little shopping center with other businesses like a sammich shop and a hair salon. Six. Did I mentioned it never too crowded? This is the most important to me :) Come here if you need to get in and out quickly. Parking is not a problem. read more

I rarely go to the post office but a client requested a favor so i googled a post office in route and ended up here. It is hidden in a small shopping center behind El Pollo Loco. I was skepticle a post office was even there while my navigation was directing me where to go.. Plenty of parking. No lines. No wait. I went around 11am, it was empty and super quiet. I came here during lunch time and was surprised there were only a few people in line. In the past when I've been to other post offices during lunch the line is usually really lengthy. This is your typical post office with P.O. Boxes and an express mail station. They also sell gift cards and Hallmark cards. The post office is kind of hidden though, in between other shops in a small shopping center. Paul provided great customer service by moving the line along really quick. If a customer had to fill something out, he called on another customer to help them in the meantime. I was in and out of there in less than 10 minutes. read more

This post office gives bad service .We do on line business and we only drop off the package. The drop off bin is usually so full and the person in the counter wont even offer to take the package or empty the bin. He just want you to leave it in the counter and no guarantee that it will not get stolen. Very poor customer service. read more

This location wouldn't give me a piece of tape for my envelope today. The guy said he only had "Priority" tape which would charge extra, otherwise I could BUY a ROLL of clear tape from him. When I questioned him he said that if I live or work nearby, I could go back for a piece of tape then come back to the the post office. As if this was a reasonable alternative. I went to the the Garden Grove post office down the street and they gladly gave me a piece of tape and sent off my envelope. They didn't charge me for it. My package was supposed to be arriving yesterday but then the online tracking updated that it has been delayed. I called them today and this nice lady told me that it might be delivered later. Past 12 noon, I got a text saying that my package is available for pick up by 11:41am. So I went to their office around 1pm but this Asian guy with glasses (name starts with S) said that even though I got a text advising for pick up, it doesn't mean it's already there. He further added that I need to have a note saying that their mailman missed to deliver it. He did this without trying to check their backroom. So I went outside and called their number. The lady who answered confirmed that it's already in there. So I went back and of course it was there. To cut short, this Asian guy is just too lazy to check. read more

I have a P.O Box and see this man regularly he's actually really nice and seems to be really specific when dealing with people, this is cause people who come in there have no common sense! He's rude when you come in having no idea what you're doing and expecting him to do all the work for you. read more

I try to avoid this post office at any cost. The man behind the counter after giving your receipt pushes the package back at you and wants you to carry it 6 feet away and place it where anyone can take it (as there is usually only 1 person working here it wouldn't be difficult) My problem with this is: 1) I am 70 years old with bad back and I accept the responsibility of getting heavy package to counter but on accepting it and giving me receipt the package is NOW their responsibility. But this man does not move from his stool. If he is that disabled he should be resting at home and not work 2) Package is now in spot where anyone can take it. This wouldn't be difficult as there is only 1 person working and long long lines. This employee is on a bad power trip. USPS inspector you need a more able friendly customer service employee here! read more

This post office is small compared to others I have been too. The post office and its surrounding stores look quite old and run-down, as opposed to the other corners of the intersection of businesses and eateries. I came in during lunch time, and to my surprise, the post office was not empty!! Usually around this time, the post office is jammed packed with people on lunch breaks trying to ship out packages. This post office is the worst USPS I've been to hands down, which is surprising because it's in such a great area. It's in the corner of a shopping center where parking is minimal. It's very small, with no Priority Box area, no stamp machine, package machine, or even a blue bin to drop off packages outside OR inside. You have to leave your packages on the corner of the front counter, so if the post office is closed you're SOL. Everytime I've gone there's only one, painfully slow and rude old man working the counter, with at least 4 or 5 patrons waiting in line.. I make an effort to avoid this post office even though it's just to drop off pre-paid packages, that's how bad it is. read more

The African American clerk is very rude, have had a couple of bad experiences with him. Also had an experience with borrowing tape from him once. Today I went to drop off a package, he pointed to where the drop box was, I asked for a receipt and he made a dumb face, as he was going to hand it to me he yanked the receipt from my hand and told me I need to drop my package in the drop box. I asked him why he couldn't do it for me and he seemed befuddled because people probably never say anything to him. Will not be going back to this Post Office until this guy is relocated/fired. read more

Horrible customer service. He was borderline blatantly rude to everyone except for one person who was a regular for him. I waited in line so that he could take my priority package but instead he made me leave it on a table that said leave packages here. This location lacks customer service. When I first arrived I was not greeted or acknowledged while the man was arranging the stamps in the display case. Waiting a couple minutes before he finished up and came around to the computer. I was in a bit of a scramble this morning & brought the wrong package in. First thing he told me was "we don't do these..." I apologized and ran out to get the correct package & finally brought the correct one in. I put it on the counter, he scanned it, I decided against a receipt & thanked him. Almost half way out the door.. the man scoffs at me and I look at him thinking there was some sort of problem but he just points to the package area I guess? Tells me I need to leave it there... It was quite rude and I didn't appreciate his attitude throughout the entire transaction. This is my 2nd time coming to this post office and both times the same African American man working there is just rude. After reading the reviews obviously I'm not the only one that has had this experience at this location. Whether he hates his job or not he still should be held to a certain level of customer service. I looked up a post office close to where I was located, I need to ship a box. According to yelp this location is open at 9 AM. However that is not true only their lobby self service is open at 9 AM. I do not have the ability to send my box because the actual post office does not open until 10 AM. That is extremely late so I am off to another location. read more

Every time I come here they are closed, even when I checked their hours and it says they are open til 5 and I got here at 415, they were closed and it was just the po box lobby that was open til 5 and they actually closed at 4. Why close at 4 on a week day?! Who can get there before 4 on a work day? I've tried coming here 3 or 4 times at totally reasonable business hours and they are closed. The staff are so great here! This location is close to my work, so I'm always stopping by during my lunch if I need something mailed/shipped out. I love this location. I've been twice and both times the staff have been friendly. Paul is always so helpful and friendly. Its pretty small but I don't mind that. I went in with an application I did online for a PO BOX and they were like why did you get such a big box? I didn't know that I could get a smaller box and still get big packages. I thought I had to get a big box. So I canceled the big one and I'm going to do it again for a smaller one now that I know. Paul was very helpful with that! read more

While running errands in the area, I came across this post office in my yelp app search. This little post office is in a shopping center with a very small parking lot. Parking was a challenge, but either than that this location was a breeze. I had to send off a few packages and buy stamps which usually means standing in line with a bunch of grumpy people, only to get to the front of the counter to be greeted by even more grumpy service-- but this was not the case here! I was surprised how cheerful everyone, seemed like this was a neighborhood post office and everyone knew each other on a first name basis. There was only one person working and his name was Jimmy. He made simple conversation and was very friendly! He said that this post office location is supposed to close due to the budget cuts. I hope that isnt the case. I will gladly drive to this location over the Buena Park or Cypress locations any day! read more

I stopped by during lunch to drop off a pre-paid package, I only asked if i still had to fall in line in order to drop it off and he answered very rudely, "READ THE SIGN!", and pointed a very crappy piece of paper taped on the ceiling. Unfortunate to see that this location is without an outdoor drop box for Sunday mail like other post office locations. Most have an indoor area for drop offs when the office is closed. I see some other reviewers have mentioned the same thing. Hopefully one will be added in time. read more
