He added comments for each picture (the safety hazards or concerns were in red meaning it needs immediate attention) so we would know exactly what needed to be fixed. Unfortunately our home inspector wasn't licensed to test for mold, but he did recommend this mold testing company who he had worked with in the past on similar situations with home buyers. Upon our first conversation with the business owner we were impressed with his level of knowledge when it came to pretty much everything mold related. He told us everything there is to know about mold and we learned that San Diego is the perfect environment for mold to grow because it is so close to the water. In order to get the mold inspection done that same day they were able to divert their lead technician over to our home to take some air samples to send off to lab for testing. Just like we were fearing the results came back positive for mold. We were afraid we would have to go another company to have the mold damage taken care of but it turns out they handled that service as well. They were able to remove all the mold and we moved right in. We are in love with our new, mold free home!

I got in a legal battle with my landlord and it was a giant headache. San Diego Mold Inspection Experts we're actually hired by my landlord to repair the mold damage. They did a great job and were a breeze to work with. I work from home so they went out of their way to get the job done without bothering me too much. When I found mold in my next apartment, I didn't even bother going through my landlord, I just called them up and hired them out of pocket to come get rid of the mold. It wasn't cheap, but at least I didn't have to fight another legal battle with my new landlord.

The quote was significantly less than the big names, and when Chris recommended no demo after determining the lack of water, it was a huge sigh of relief. Within two days, had my kitchen dried as it should be, and recommended some next steps to prevent in the future that are realistic, affordable, and not just to drum up more business for himself. I found Chris through an internet search for water damage/flood repair. Chris was very responsive and contacted me quickly through email. I called him and he came out to my house a half hour later (after 5pm on a Holiday). He assessed the damage, gave me a clear explanation of what he intended to do to repair the water damage and quoted me for the work. It was all very reasonable, so we accepted and he immediately set up a fan and de-humidifier that same evening, to get the drying process started that night. He then came back the next morning to lift up the floor and open up the lower part of the wall to ensure proper dying and mold prevention. After everything was dried up, his associates did an excellent job repairing our floors back to their pre-flood condition (probably better than before). Chris was very easy to work with and he has years of experience in this field. He came across as trust worthy and took care of the problem at hand which I appreciated. Chris laid out a common sense approach, without upselling or pressure to perform services that seemed unnecessary. He was able to answer all questions clear and concise. If we ever do have another flood or water damage situation, Chris will be my first call!

Extremely Unprofessional and Abusive Behavior from Advanced 1 Restorations…read more Tenants Beware. I've had an extremely disappointing experience with Advanced 1 Restorations, particularly with Mark Esquivel, who has been consistently unprofessional and, at times, outright hostile. He is frequently late to scheduled appointments, dismissive of tenant concerns, and confrontational when questioned. He often speaks on behalf of the landlord, despite having no authority to do so, and misrepresents their position to suit his aggressive narrative. When I later spoke directly with the landlord, they confirmed that Mark had no right to speak on their behalf and even called me to clarify that I am not an awful person or tenant, after Mark told me that I am. Mark also uses intimidation tactics to get his way; he's a physically larger man and acts like a bully, often cussing and raising his voice to assert dominance and silence opposition. His behavior is extreme, emotionally charged, and entirely inappropriate for someone in a professional role. Despite multiple independent reports confirming mold due to water intrusion, Mark blamed me, the tenant, for the mold, accusing me of being a slob instead of acknowledging the building's clear issues. This is not only inaccurate but also deeply unprofessional and gaslighting. Tenants deserve to be treated with respect and objectivity, not judgment, intimidation, and verbal abuse. I would not recommend this company to anyone seeking fair, honest, or respectful treatment, especially if you're a tenant navigating sensitive or serious living conditions.

Through a recommendation I hired Sitton Flooring to install a floor in my bathroom. The sales agent…read morethat came to my house offered me a deal I could not refuse, and I hired them to install a vinyl floor on my bathroom floor. The installer that came to my house unfortunately didn't notice that the floor sheet was defective before the installation and law down of the sheet; it had a few cuts on it. A few months down the road when I discovered the defect and I reported it to Sitton Flooring, because the sales agent had said that the floor had a 10-year warranty off any defects. At first, whomever I spoke with at Sitton refused to replace the floor or issue a prorate refund. Another installer that came to do an inspection on the problem said that the installer that had installed my floor was no longer working for the company (6 months after the installation) and that he should have NOT installed this floor because of the defects. The installer had left some corners lose, but the 2nd installer fixed them during the inspection. Down the road after a few messages were exchanged with the company about the defective vinyl floor, the owner/president of the company himself sent me a message and indicated that he would issue me a refund on the floor because of the situation, wanting to show that customers come first. I recommend you use Sitton Flooring, but when they install your floor FULLY INSPECT THE JOB before the installers leave and take pictures of the installation; so that there are no buts or ifs.
