It looks and feels similar to hardwood but it's waterproof and more scratch resistant. It's a very heavy high quality plank. Lugging the small samples alone to my house was a feat in itself! There were so many color options it was overwhelming! My recommendation is to take 4 samples home and start narrowing it down from there. Lay it next to your walls and furniture and walk barefoot on them. Keep them for a couple days and see how they look in different lighting and times of day. Scheduling with these guys was easy. George came out to measure a couple of weeks before our install. The guys showed up timely everyday and worked diligently to finish the project. My guess it would take them about two weeks to do my entire downstairs, stairs, and catwalk but it only took them 7.5 total!! Each day they left the house looking cleaner than it was. They never used my trash cans inside my home or even the outside bins. It was actually a joy having them around. I miss them already! On the last day of the project they spent a lot of time cleaning the floors, vacuuming both inside my home AND outside! They didn't leave any equipment, trash, leftover scraps NADA! I keep a very clean home so this was greatly appreciated! TIPS if you plan on getting new floors- -move as much stuff as you can into your garage. Day one demo is very dusty. You can leave heavy large items like couch, fridge they will work around them and move them for you! -try to stay out as much as possible. It gets loud and noisy the first couple of days. - provide drinks, snacks or even bring the workers lunch. They really appreciate it and they work so hard! - wait to dust and clean when it's done. - choose a lighter color makes your home look larger and disguises dust and dirt much better. However, there was already some confusion because I received a text message asking me if I had those pictures and videos that we spoke about. I said, " I sent them hours ago to the number I called you on earlier you didn't receive them"? He said, "No, please send them here if you can thank you" which was a different number than we originally spoke on. So I sent the videos and photos to that number he texted me from. He said, "thank you I will review and get back to you tomorrow, enjoy your evening". Then I was told that he was drafting up my estimate and he had a couple of questions so we spoke over the phone about whatever questions that he had to ask me and we ended up scheduling the appointment for him to come and do the work. He also emailed me the itemized bid. The day before the appointment I had to reschedule because my work schedule changed so I sent an email to him requesting for us to reschedule since we had exchanged a few emails back and forth leading up to this point since I had a few questions for him and regards to the estimate. I don't think he liked me questioning some of the things on the invoice because after my request to reschedule the appointment via email and text message I never heard back from him again. Mind you I had already provided a $100 deposit via venmo which was not refundable. I tried reaching out to him a total of three times but he never got back to me. He took my $100 for doing absolutely nothing in my home! I would not recommend this business to anyone.
