Update: Thrasher has reached out to offer further treatments and have so far done a more thorough job. When you pay $800 with the stated goal of getting rid of cockroaches, you expect treatment to be effective and to last until the infestation is over. After 10 weeks I was still seeing cockroaches and apparently I was not getting the best pesticide, and was told if I wanted further treatment it was going to be another $600. The employees were nice and punctual but what good is that when I was told this treatment will absolutely get rid of the cockroaches and it does not? read more

I contacted and hired this company for pest control, after seen that has very good reviews. I don't know what is the problem in my case, because they haven't been able to manage my problem, Ants are all over my house and they have serviced and tried different chemical or methods in the 4 months I've been having the service, but the problem still there and now there's been little roaches popping up, never before had problems with roaches and now its a new pest. They sprayed inside, they added baits, gels other stuff and nothing seems to have any effect on the ants. They are mostly in the kitchen and the outside perimeter. Nothing can be placed on counters or sink because within minutes they start piling up. They did come on time but when spraying the house inside and the exterior they didn't mention that the poison wouldn't kill all the millipedes present in the house. Honestly I am always skeptical about subscription services and even more so when it comes to pest control (see my Joshua Pest Service review). Thrasher was easy to work with and Josue was quick to respond to all my questions and did a quick walk through on my property. I am honestly surprised by the amount of 5 star reviews on yelp and on google for this company. The only low star rating I saw was on Indeed for Thrasher with the employees stating issues with employment. When a business has 5 stars with lots of reviews it always makes me wonder if there is something else going on. However, I am leaning towards the reviews and the service that Trasher gives. For the price and what I needed to take care of: ants, grasshoppers, cockroaches, spiders, etc I would say that is a pretty good deal and not as expensive as I thought. Everyone was quick in response and scheduling my first service. This does not include termites, fleas, bed bugs, mice/rodents however so I do understand the price is reflective of that. Those are add-ons that can be done later. What I liked: You can cancel anytime, you can call them to come even when it's not your scheduled quarterly visit. The price fits the service. What I'm unsure of: Will this take effect on the pests I listed above and keep them out? I can try to do an update once I start service this month and fill you all in on it. read more

Eric called me 30 minutes before to tell me he was on his way, which was appreciated. They did not use drop cloths, which resulted in white paint drips on my patio, doormats and stairs. When he arrived, we walked my small gopher issue, and he laid out the plans. He was honest and upfront with pricing and warranties. Something else I want to add, which was very important to me, is that he didn't try to upsell me. He simply laid out the plans that addressed my issue. Due to the no pressure customer service, I was inclined to ask about other add-on services, and opted for a monthly plan (pretty affordable might I add). We called them to deal with a rat infestation problem in a garage that damaged our car and to consider an ongoing plan. Picked them because of these excellent reviews. An employee came a few days later, looked around, and proposed replacing an existing rubber bottom door strip on an outdoor door with a metal strip for $300. I asked about adding traps in the garage and he said that is best addressed by protecting the outside with bi-monthly treatments. He said he didn't see a need for traps or to do anything else in the garage. He saw no signs of rats, although he didn't spend much time looking. I subsequently contacted another company and they found rat droppings in the garage and added traps. 5 stars for quick response, 1 star for not offering a solution to my problem and trying to sell me an overpriced door strip that I replaced for $40. read more
