This is how you run a business!! Prompt. Polite. Knowledgable. Thorough. Fair price. I am so glad Pharris' was recommended by my friend. Dane and Ricky showed up about 5 minutes earlier than scheduled and checked for limit switch and flame sensor issues to determine why my furnace wasn't firing up. They immediately diagnosed my issue as inconsistent (30 year old) thermostat operation. I was embarrassed and a bit skeptical. For a very fair price and 30 minutes of our time they swapped it out for a new Honeywell programmable unitand everything works as it should. I could not be happier!! Great guys. Great service. Super polite. I've dealt with a few other HVAC companies in the Lewisville/ Flo Mo area over the past 20 years. These guys are clearly the best. And a five year warranty. If I could give 20 Stars to Air by Phariss, I would! We had 3 people look at our AC unit and 2 wanted to replace the whole unit and one said it was an electrical problem. Air by Phariss came out and found the leak in 5 min! They fixed the problem and saved us a ton on money! The father and son team were meticulous in their work, honest and very professional but down to earth easy to talk to people. I have found a forever HVAC repair company. Air By Phariss just came out to our house to clean our fireplace and sweep our chimney. As soon as they got to our house they got to work and did a great job. They even cleaned up the old firewood left in our fireplace. Ricky and Robert were great and I would definitely recommend them for any chimney sweep or A/C needs. read more

SUPER dissatisfied with Air by Phariss and their ability to contact us regarding our leaking air conditioning system that their company installed. We also purchased their service contract for them to come and service the AC, but can't get anyone to call us back after multiple attempts. Very disappointing to say the least. read more

Never used them, but their truck was driving down the freeway and almost killed my family when he cut us off. Don't like to use services that drive their service trucks with no regard for public safety down the freeway. read more

Awfull people very mean hearted and cursed out my wife for assuming our air filter was broken because of the air not our dogs...? dont recommend at all they take advantage of elderly people and charge way to much for air filters. NEVER COMING BACK! read more

These guys are the real deal. Our A/C stopped running around 8 PM. A neighbor had recommended Phariss so I gave them a call around 7 the next morning. Answering machine asked me to send a text with my contact info, address and issue. I had a response within minutes and a promise that they would be here today. Gary showed up as promised and got us up and running pretty quickly, when I asked him to address a second issue he took care of that quickly as well. Really pleased with their professionalism and what he charged me was more than fair. I encourage others to give them a shot. read more

Alfredo was A++++…read more We had a 9 year old HVAC that was dying in 2023 and called out numerous companies to quote and diagnose for possible repair. We had to deal with a lot of salesmen-y type of people that didn't feel honest. Quoting huge numbers and telling us our AC was definitely going to die any moment. Telling us we had to buy these huge expensive replacements. We knew it was going bad, but the experience we had with the greasy salesmen techs made us decide to wait for it to fail before trying again to find someone good. It finally failed May 2026. I did my research again and found this company. The reviews were great but I was still really nervous because of our last experience. Called them out, fully expecting to go through the process of calling multiple people before finding someone. However, Alfredo was immediately different from the others. He is such a kind and personable person. What a great first impression. If you are able to ask by name, I suggest ask for Alfredo. He arrived exactly on time, too. He didn't feel like a salesperson at all. He felt honest and genuine. He gave us all of our options. From repair to full and complete replacement and everything in between. He discussed with us the pros and cons of each option. It never felt like he was pushing us one way or the other. It felt like he just wanted us to have a working AC that worked for us, period. He also spoke equally to both my husband and I. Many technicians tend to only speak to my husband which is annoying since I take care of most of the home management. Previously we were told we had to do this super expensive option to keep our upstairs cool but Alfredo told us we likely didn't need it, and if we did, we could have it added later. I knew right away we didn't need to have anyone else come out. We chose them and they were able to install our new system same day. We left the house, and they were very respectful of our house while they were here alone. They cleaned up after themselves and locked the doors behind them. He said they would likely be done around 2am and they finished at exactly 1:59am! We had a Lego display on the wall that I'm guessing got bumped (I forgot to remove it before they arrived so that was my bad). Some pieces fell off and broke apart and they put them all on the table. I've knocked that thing off myself and finding those scattered pieces is annoying. No missing pieces at all. I was impressed by this small thing. Just another example of the care and thoughtfulness of the crew. The AC is incredible. I'm very happy so far with our choice in system and in who we picked to install it. I don't feel bamboozled or taken advantage of in any way. Highly recommend! Very glad I found them.

The next day a crew of 3 came out in late afternoon and installed a new A/C unit (old one was 28 yo) and a new furnace (old one was 30 yo). I stuck with RUUD/Rheem due to good experiences. The crew was efficient (3 hours to do both installs), the A/C is working great with cooler air and more forceful blowing, and they briefly checked the furnace operation also. My old unit was a 10 SEER operating probably at a 7 efficiency lately and my new unit is a 14.3 SEER. I found everyone polite from the owner to the workers, addressed my needs, and answered my questions. I still use my old thermostat which is Honeywell programmable while the one they gave me was Honeywell non-programmable. And BTW, David said I probably would raise my thermostat a degree or so with the new unit, and I did without any loss of comfort. Finally, the price was the best I found.

I chose Comfort Land because I related to who I communicated to and was able to establish good communication with them at a, albeit weird hour (Saturday night 9pm). The person I talked to, Will, was very upfront about the pricing. The price was 49$ for a diagnostic visit. I also asked if there was a cancellation fee in case the AC worked itself out, no cancellation fee, and he also recommended some YouTube sites to see if some of the basics could be ruled out on the costumer side. I appreciated that and after doing some price comparison with 2 other companies, one of which tried to upsell me on a yearly plan, I decided to go with Comfort Land. I confirmed the appointment time on Sunday and on Monday they came early afternoon. I was not here when they originally came and my husband interacted with them, he had a favorable opinion. I had done my own research that morning and realized that the problem was likely inside the house since the outside unit was spinning normally and the refrigerant line was cold, but nothing was blowing in my house so I thought it was likely a motor blower issue. they confirmed that they found that the motor blower was not working. they also said the auxillary drain pan was very rusted (like around 2-3 feet of rust on the pan) I like that they documented everything very well and showed and emailed us pictures of what they found in our attic. I felt very comfortable and confident that they were honest and did a good evaluation. They called and had a motor blower and new drain pan delivered from their storage facility and I think the two of them waited outside the house for like 90 minutes for it. I think they came around 1pm, and left around 5 pm after installing everything and left after they made sure the AC was working, including measuring the temperature that came from the AC. In regards to the pricing: It was 2600 to replace the motor and change the drain pan. I did a search on HVAC subreddit and it seemed like that price was reasonable. My husband and I are very grateful for their prompt service, their handwritten evaluation that not only evaluated the immediate problem, as well as overall health of the AC system we had and the degree of wear and tear on some of the other parts. I feel comfortable recommending this company to friends and other people. Please keep up the good work everyone!

I was very pleased to find Legacy Plumbing who clearly had the best reviews for plumbing services in the Dallas area. I asked them to send their top-notch expert technician, and I was very fortunate that they sent Jason and his excellent assistant (Ricardo) to my home the next day. They carefully removed (and disposed of) my old water heater and did a beautiful job of installing the new one (it was made by A.O. Smith Corporation). The installation job required several hours but it was clearly done properly. During the entire installation process, Jason kept me well informed. I highly recommend Legacy Plumbing for any plumbing or water heater installation needs. This is a very professional company what goes out of its way to provide exceptional customer service. There was no sales pitch and no pressure. Great, honest guys. Love supporting local and smaller companies. My wife and I woke up in the middle of the night and it was 90 degrees in our house. I gave Dane a call in the morning and Ricky showed up the same day. Very professional and knowledgeable, they both helped explain what was going on with my system and assured me that they, unlike other HVAC companies, were not trying to over sell me on repairs or services that I didn't need to get my system running again. With that being said, they even gave me some tips on things that I could to myself, even though they likely could've charged me $100-$200 for it. Very fair, honest, and professional company. When my air went out I knew it would cost an arm and a leg to fix and it would be weeks before I could get someone out but "Air By Phariss" came out within hours of me calling and was able to get me back up and running within days.
