Great little coffee spot! Get there early if you want a breakfast sandwich they tend to run out quickly.

Good coffee drinks. I like their shop. They have couches you can relax and have a cup of joe. They make descent frapps too.

The drink: Although the barista had to go look up where they source their tea from and didn't know how long my tea was supposed to steep for, they did have a great tea selection. It's always a letdown though when I'm charged more for a larger sized cup of tea, because the difference from 12oz of tea to 16oz is really just water. Which means I paid 60¢ extra for 4oz of hot water. The bakery: I chose to stop there because I saw they called themselves both a cafe and a bakery, so I expected to find both food and drink. But the food was a bust as the bakery had a whole of three gluten free muffins and two day-old scones. The atmosphere: The space is very cozy and chill. I was surprised by how large it was and they had a comfortable looking couch area. I went with the window table though as the passing cars kept my 10 month old travel buddy entertained. read more

Rerouted my trip home to support local coffee instead of going to Starbucks. The door was unlocked and about 6 people were hanging out when the barista informed me "I'm sorry but I'm closed." It was 10 minutes past close. Customer service was lost and I guess I'll depend on Starbucks for my visits. read more

Stopped here twice while I was staying in Rock Falls. Love the shop! It's cute and eccentric, and they sell disc golf discs!!! If I was still in school, I would hang out here and study. The coffee is great! Loved their cold brew and the cafe williamette (white chocolate and hazelnut latte). If I'm ever in Sterling again, I will definitely stop by this place for my daily coffee fix. read more

Stopped in from a business trip from Iowa. Needed a coffee & a pastry. Nice lil shop very quaint & cheerful, I had a Pumpkin Donut baked donut made w/real pumpkin with a sugar & cinnamon sprinkle-Excellent. Also had a Scone Cranberry & Orange very yummy & fresh + very sizable. Also ordered a 20oz Caramel Macchiato w/shot O'Espresso. Table service was available. We got there around 2pm. & around 5 other people rolled in. I wish I could say I would stop in again however it was by chance but very well worth the visit. $5 min for credit card. read more

My most recent experience was far better than my last review. I really enjoy coming to this coffee shop and sitting in the front window. A good spot to people watch with your coffee or tea. Lately I've been drinking more tea and the owner was helpful in serving me an entire pot of water and offering me more once the leaves brewed. The gluten free option food options are my favorite, and their peanut butter cookies are huge. My favorite decaf tea is the witch's brew :) All employees on my recent visit were extremely kind and a bit witty, which gives the whole place a down to earth vibe. read more

I was excited about trying this place as they had scones, but all in all, wish I'd given it a miss. The scones, fresh out of the oven as the girl behind the counter was icing them, and they were rock hard. Also, the parts of the inside of the scone I was able to try had no real flavor to speak of. Very disappointing. I also tried the coconut caramel thumbprints. The first one was break your teeth hard but after I put them in an airtight container they softened up a bit so the rest of them were decent. Still not worth the price they charged. If you're thinking of trying the place for the food, I'd give it a second thought. Didn't try the drinks as I can't do coffee. read more

My first visit to AirPlay was good, but this time I am very disappointed. They open at 7 but the lights were dark at 7:10 and they still are at 7:30 as I write this review inside. (EDIT: I found out the lights are not working) There are no baked goods yet because it's Monday and apparently they don't get here soon enough on Mondays to bake before opening. The wireless internet is down but they have to text the owner and can't do anything else. There is a bad smell of burned baked goods in the air. Too bad this is the only coffee shop in town or I would be gone. Other people are showing major frustration at the lack of baked goods. I hope this isn't normal because I am very glad to have a coffee shop in town and would hate to see it go. At about 7:45 the scones were finally ready. I again was disappointed because the scone was nothing like any scone I have ever had. It looked great and was good, but it wasn't a scone. It was basically a large triangle-shaped cinnamon role, minus the cinnamon and add blueberry. Scones shouldn't be yeasty and gooey in my opinion. I did enjoy the coffee and background music a lot, though! read more

Air Play seems to be an eclectic 3-in-one mix rolled into one place of business: coffee shop, bakery, and sporting goods (disc golf primarily). Today was my first visit to Air Play. I went as a patron of a coffee shop and in this role I was quite pleased. We ordered espressos and a latte and they were on par with what I'd expect for a high quality coffee house. I would give our espressos/lattes 4 stars. The environment and service, which I consider at least as important as the beverage, was excellent as well. 5 stars for having a top notch local business with a pleasant environment and pleasant staff where I'd be happy to be a repeat customer. read more

Talk about quaint... stopped through Sterling enroute to Iowa and came upon this delightful coffeeshop/bakery. Our timing was great in that they were just pulling the fresh blueberry scones out of the oven. I had one of the best lattes I've ever had here and I've had a lot of lattes in a lot of places. Another thing I like about this place is how comfortable the atmosphere is.
