I love their donuts and cakes. The owner, Jim, is a friendly person and the location is convenient.

Very tasty and a local favorite. They now do pizzas on Fridays. Staff are helpful and offer suggestions.

My family surprised me with a birthday cake from here. It was the moistest birthday cake ever.

This place is hopping! It was a Saturday morning around…read more10:30am that I arrived. There had to be 15 customers that picked up or ordered in the eight minutes I was there. I ordered the Fox with a Twist for $10.49. I got a garlic bagel, I would try something different, probably everything or salt. I also kept the plain cream cheese and I would sub that next time. I really liked the turkey, there was a lot of it on the bagel. $10.50 is a lot for a bagel sized sandwich, but there was a lot of turkey. I enjoyed the bacon and pickled jalapeños. I could not taste the tomato but was glad it was there, but I was disappointed with the caramelized onions. There were not many, and they had almost no flavor. The sandwich also needed salt, something to draw out the flavor. I also got a French toast bagel for my son. It was served warm. That was $2.49. I heard about this deli because it was used for a catering event I went to. The bagels are delicious!!! The best around. The bagel hole idea is also clever, great snack for a catering tray. I would grab a bagel if I was in the area, but not sure I'll repeat the sandwich at that price point without a bit more punch of flavor.

The inside is small but cute with an ordering counter, to-go items, merch, etc. There isn't anywhere inside to sit and enjoy but bagels are nicely wrapped to carry out. While waiting for my order to be ready, the staff were hustling to keep up with taking orders, preparing food, and were constantly bringing out fresh bagels to refill flavors. I ordered The Basic B with crispy bacon, egg, and cheese on a Garlic Bagel. The bagel was extremely fresh and I could taste the garlic flavor infused into the bagel itself as well as the topping. The eggs were fluffy and the cheese added the perfect, melty flavor. My husband got the Everything bagel with Lox cream cheese. He said he could taste the fresh salmon flavor in the cream cheese and their everything bagel house seasoning had a good mix of flavor. Overall, I am so happy I finally got to try Elle's Bagels! This is clearly a neighborhood favorite as it was consistently busy when I visited. The pricing was very fair, everything was fresh, and staff were very kind/patient. Highly recommend coming out to give them a try!

I initially went to Einstein's Bagels / Caribou Coffee to get a Nova Lox Bagel and a cup of coffee. I was informed that they no longer have fresh bagels everything they have is premade. Naturally I googled bagel shops here in Dubuque and a Big Apple Bagel came up. I've been to these before although not at this location so I really wasn't expecting anything great as it was. I go in and ask the girl for a Lox and Bagel. She replied that she did not know what that was and what I like something else. I actually find this kind of funny because whoever was rolling the bagels really needs to take a class on how to do it correctly because they resembled horseshoes and not a bagel. The manager of the location chuckled and stated they ran Einstein's bagels out of business and I simply replied I surely don't know how because you guys also don't have a clue. If you're looking for a good bagel in Dubuque it just simply does not exist and quite frankly most of the food here is garbage. Go far away and I mean very very far away.

They have several flavors of gluten free bagels, squeal! The service is so welcoming and considerate about allergies. We shared a Bee Sting breakfast sandwich because this is how it is described on the menu "One of our most popular sandwiches! Egg, Cheddar Cheese, Crispy Bacon, Scallion Schmear, and Heaven's Hot Honey. You can't beat this combo!" Omg it was scrumptious! You can pre-order and drive thru to pick up or park in the adjacent lot and walk in. You can customize everything so check out their website ordering menu ahead of time. The coffee was really tasty too. There was a constant flow of patrons early on a Sunday morning. There are only two tables inside so we took our order to go. I'm already dreaming of what I'll try next and who I will bring with to enjoy these really delicious bagels in Geneva.

I ordered a sesame bagel with strawberry cream cheese. As I was eating it, I started to wonder why it tasted like cinnamon, and then I noticed there were nuts in it. I realized they gave me the cranberry walnut cream cheese (I didn't notice right away because the color was still slightly pink and the flavor was fruity). It was good so I still ate it, but it was a bit disappointing to not get what I was looking forward to. We told the employees before we left, and they apologized and said they'd remake it, but I had already eaten the entire bagel so I told them no it's okay. We mainly just wanted to tell them so they'll be more careful. Some people have allergies, and I can't imagine if I unknowingly ate something I was allergic to. They sell tubs of the strawberry cream cheese for $8, so we purchased one to take home. I like that they always have new types of seasonal coffee creations and this time I got an iced coconut mocha. It was really good!

My last two experiences solidified for me that I'd rather go to Einsteins. My second-to-last time there the guy working put one of my bagels in the toaster after I clearly stated I didn't want them toasted. I repeated this when I saw the bagel go into the toaster. He reached into the toaster and pulled the halves out and threw them in a bag partially toasted along with the other bagel. He didn't wrap them. I asked for two sides of cream cheese. He gave me one. At the check out I told him I needed the other side of cream cheese. He went back and got it. I also said I wanted them individually wrapped as usual. He reluctantly un-bagged them and wrapped them. His coworker sat at a table visiting friends. Then this last time I went in the same worker went to ring me up at the register while someone else prepped my bagels. The guy stopped part way though ringing me up, looked at his phone, started texting, and walked into the back. Not a word from him. The other guy came over and actually rang me up -- turns out the amount the texting guy charged was wrong. I said: "Your coworker walked away in the middle of ringing me up." His response was: "Yeah, I don't know what he's doing." This was at 11:30a. And almost all the bagels were gone, the ones left looked like flat blobs. So yeah. Not going here anymore.
