It even started with the call for making the appointment. The young lady in the office (and, being old and senile, I don't remember her name) who makes the appointment calls and answers the phone is a real asset. The tone she sets with her cheerful and pleasant attitude sets the tone for the call, and creates exactly the first impression that any business wants their customers to experience. Then, when Keegan shows up to do the service call, he is pleasant, explains everything that he's doing, and then proceeds to do it well. I highly recommend this company for HVAC needs. No one likes being in that position, especially during the hottest part of summer, when you're worried about how expensive the repair or replacement might be. Locke's helped us work within our budget and gave us the best value we found. We got several other quotes, but Locke's offered the best combination of price, service, and equipment along with a great team behind the name. Our installation was scheduled for Friday, and the crew arrived at 7:30 a.m. ready to get to work. And work they did -- in 95-degree heat and 130-degree attic temperatures. Three men were on the job all day, and even when a storm moved in near the end of the day and briefly knocked out the power, they kept going and finished the installation. They also cleaned up as they worked, leaving the space neat when they were done. I cannot stress enough how neat and clean they left everything. Once the power came back on, they installed the thermostat and started up the AC. It was blowing cold and running so quietly compared to our old system. Even after the installation was complete, we still had a few questions the next day, and they came back on Saturday and answered everything thoroughly. During my research when looking at whole house generators, I learned it was important to go through a company that does all three- Sales, Installation, and Service. Tons of electricians will install a generator, but if something goes wrong down the road, your out of luck. So with L&L being a comapny that does all three, its a one stop shop and offers piece of mind. Jared Godwin from their Generator Division at L&L provided me a REALLY competitive quote for the generator and install, and he was excellent to work with. His installation team arrived on time and were also awesome to deal with. Very clean, did a wonderful job and anytime they've been back for routine service everything has been 100% flawless. The entire experience was so positive, I began getting approached by neighbors who were also researching generators, but after their research, they also had concerns with Generac's quality. So I referred them to L&L and now there is an entire subset of my neighborhood that are all L&L/ Cummins customers. The last power outage Jared Godwin reached out to several of us in the neighborhood just to check in and make sure everything kicked on and was working well. Really appreciate that cause you definately feel like its a company that cares about their customers and keeping them happy. Because his initial quote came in so competitively, I opted for a few choice upgrades- like extending the factory 5 year warranty out to 10 years and Cat-5 remote monitoring.
