Suspicious business practices. Our AC blower was acting inconsistently and malfunctioning. They…read morecame out and did an inspection which consisted of unplugging the system and plugging it back in per the technician's report. The inspection took less than 15 minutes and they charged $150. The technician did not even look at the outside fan of the unit. We were told that we needed a new blower engine totaling just under $3,000. The technician told us we could call the office to talk about financing options (as advertised on their website). Upon calling the office, the owner said that there were no financing options available. We decided to continue with the service and pay the amount in full upon completion. Despite having been told that payment is due upon completion of the repair, when the technician arrived, he stated that we would need to pay before he installed the new system, per the owners, because we were "wishy washy" on the phone. I asked the technician to leave my home as we would not be paying for a service before it was completed and tested. The behavior of this company and the owners is suspicious and unacceptable and would not recommend them to anyone. Although the lack of financing was disheartening, the greater issue here is the inadequate diagnostic inspection and their demand for payment before beginning, installing, and testing the system.

I am surprised at the low-rated reviews I have seen. That has not been my experience at all. Those low ratings are from people who really do not use Yelp much so please take them with a grain of salt; some people only use yelp to complain. They have friendly experienced staff who stay. They sell Carrier's top line of products on down to other moderate systems based on your needs. They have an annual service contract worth signing up for that gives you free semi-annual check ups, priority emergency service, and discounts on some things. I am glad they serve southern Wakulla county now since that's where I am now. I really appreciate the long drive it takes for them to get to a loyal customer.

They wanted to charge $325 "because it was a weekend". I explained It's a new unit less than 2 years old... they went back and forth with me not wanting to respond until a week day without charging me. This is extremely frustrating. This company had no regard for me being without air conditioning in Florida with an eight month old at home. They were more concerned about it being a weekend and only wanting to send someone on a week day. I'd choose a different company all together if looking for a new system or maintenance.
