I contacted other companies and had 4 quotes ranging from $250-400 for the same exact work he did. I had to argue with the "manager" Benjie and threaten to file a complaint with the state Contractor's Board just to get a partial refund on my extremely overpriced service. We got two quotes from company's charging us for the service call and telling us the sensor and inducer needed to be replaced. They wanted over a thousand dollars. They replaced my 79 year old mother's thermostat and charged her $435 for a $65 thermostat and tried to say it costs more because it's a commercial model. I found the exact same model on Amazon for $65. They also charged a $69 diagnostic fee which is fine but don't take advantage of an elderly woman by OVER CHARGING her by $370! They sent her a check for $100 after I complained but also said they shouldn't have charged her the diagnostic fee since she paid for a new thermostat. No refund on that. Used these guys for a capacitor that went out and so had it replaced. Easy....Funny how a part that is $50 and typically $100-150 at any other place INSTALLED is now magically $750+ through airerite. I understand Fred the honest previous owner sold and airerite is under new ownership. I typically leave good reviews to spread the word for good people but these guys are thieves. Answered add posted on the Riverside Coupon Magazine. Gave them a call and accepted the AC & Air conditioning tune up service for $49. Technician arrived at agreed time, brought a ladder and screwdriver into the home, picked at the attic and stated this unit was recalled. You can get a new one for $15,000. Went to the back of the house, opened a flap on the air conditioner and stated, this part needs to be replaced for $200. This was the extent of his work. He requested payment. I showed him the add, and asked if that was the tuneup job I requested. He said call the office. I called the office and requested an explanation and a refund of my $49 since no tune up work was done. Repair estimates are free according to the ad. Office personnel took my calls; but never responded to my refund request. Requested to speak to office manager, "Bob". Bob was insulted that I had question his technician "work". He was to investigate and get back to me. The service was done early March 2020 and until now, no response, no refund. Better Business Bureau verified that this business is not a member, and this business ignored their calls and letters. Now that the new edition was received, I felt compelled to submit this statement. The technician involved, "Benny" seemed to the owner of the business. Please do more research before hiring this company for any work. if they are desperate for $49 dollars, the company is not doing so well. Please beware. read more

Had an appointment for a service call today, was given a time between 10AM-2PM for the technician to arrive. Received a call at 1:35 that the tech was "running behind". This after waiting on my day off for 3.5 hours already! The office person said the tech had a job that was taking "longer then planned". When I questioned why such late notice, the receptionist asked if I wanted to speak to the tech and I said no. She put him on the phone ANYWAY. The tech then started telling me how he had problems with his vehicle and that's why he was late. 2 different stories within moments of each other! We subsequently canceled our appointment and will seek other assistance in getting our equipment evaluated. Customer service was sorely lacking. We should have been updated far sooner and truthfully. I hope everyone reads the reviews prior to thinking about using this company. One star because we have to... Thanks for the response from the company but... If its 40 degrees or 60, its us asking for the offered service and your company agreeing to provide it. If the ambient temperature outside is an issue as to the ability to provide service, this should be rectified with the customer prior to arranging a service call. We recently had some ac issues, during a mini heatwave, and decided to call AireRite as they were the 1st company that popped up on Goggle. I was surprised at how quickly they arrived. It took a few days to get the parts as our issue happened on the weekend. The ac worked for a week, then went out again. Benny sent someone out the same day, found another issue, and ordered another part. He sent out a specialist with our unit and it was repaired quickly. He came by, assessed and provided a quote for the work. We hired them for the work that ultimately was done good & professionally. I called their office on 3 occasions asking for our rep (who originally quoted us) over 3 weeks ago...and he still hasn't called me back! But, when the tech went to my unit, saw he needed to go under my mobile home, he said he was too big and wound have to call the office and have a smaller guy go under. Claims new detailed and itemized quotes I requested "would come sometime next week". Next week came and went, with no response. We live in Corona and you know what that means in the summer. Days in the nineties are the regular. Our AC system is at least 20 years old, and hasn't been performing at all lately. After suffering through heat waves (mainly on second floor), what felt like blizzards in our home in winter, and getting 3 prior estimates, we finally hit the jackpot with Benny and his company.
