I fully expect to get trashed for leaving this review as Brenden Hesser attempted to intimidate and he threatened me when I told him I was looking forward to sharing my experience. While this is a cute home, it is not what is advertised and it is not being well maintained. The fireplace never worked correctly and this is you main heat when it's cold (it is a gas fireplace) when the handyman came out to "fix" it, he told me the reason there is no flame is because the glass of the fireplace is filthy on the inside and, unfortunately, there was no way for me to access this to clean it and he did not. The TV didn't work and needed service by the handyman. The cabin is also not remote like the description suggests. The location is nice, it's just not what is in the description. It is a nice sub-division not a remote getaway in the woods. We were also without water for about 2 hours on our second day. The handyman said they have been servicing the water throughout the development all week but no one thought to tell me that prior to booking. The towels also smelled so badly that I had to wash them prior to using them. I plan on reporting this to VRBO and other agencies to hold Hesser accountable and make sure people know what they buy. Realtors in AZ are held to a higher standard. I am thankful Visa protects my purchase. Now I suppose I wait for the promised retaliation.

The floor was filthy and had food on the floor behind the table, the dishes were dirty, the blinds in one room were broken so unless you wanted to be up with the sun, the room was unusable. 2 showers leaked water as the molding was broken...Worst of all was the ants all over the kitchen floor and spiders in one bedroom. We could not walk barefoot because of how many there were. Yes, we took pictures of all the issues and sent it to management. They did offer to spray for ants, however there was no non-toxic options and I did not want my family, which includes 3 young children, breathing that in. We just kept killing them. There was no offer to clean the home, fix the broken items or refund the greater than $500.00 cleaning fee, given that we spent hours having to clean the home and rid it of bugs. We even have picture of the bites. All Jen would say was that this would be resolved for the next renter, which does US no good. She also incorrectly stated that we refused to let them fix these issues, which is a lie. Landscapers were there for hours one of the days, the jacuzzi maintenance company was there one of the days. The only refusal was for a toxic ant spray. She was highly unhelpful, borderline rude and arrogant and clearly has no concern for how the renters experience is. The home is a beautiful property, however was not prepared for our arrival at all, despite booking weeks in advance. We were even given the wrong code to enter. The entire experience was stressful and the attitude and response from Jen is what made it that much worse. I will be sure to avoid any property managed by this company in the future.

We know this property inside and out. In this review we will give honest feedback and pro tips on how to get the most out of your Villa # 7 experience. Property Overview Villa #7 hands down has been one of the best places we have every stayed in Puerto Penasco. The house is super luxurious with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths this place is fit for a king or queen and their family! There is a grill to cook your meat of choice, a kayak to fish or explore in the ocean, or cable tv if for whatever reason you would want to stay indoors and cool off. Villa #7 (Casa de Hamman) has great appliances and amenities to fit any family. There is a HUGE 10 person hot tub, 2 grills, 2 patio sets. Best part: It take 1.5 minutes until you feet hit the sand. The house is literally just yards away from the beach. Pro Tip: If you want to catch hundreds of fish take kayak out in morning and fish over the reef with squid purchased from fish market. Pro Tip #2: If you want to experience wildlife take kayak out early morning 5-6 AM paddle out a ways. Our family swam with dolphins and sea lions. Owner Overview Shaun Hamman is the owner of the property and ALWAYS wants to make sure that you enjoy your stay. He even offered to have ice set up to be delivered to the villa prior to us arriving. On our first stay for some reason the coffee pot was missing. Shaun ordered one to be purchased immediately so that my father and I could continue to feed our caffeine addictions. Great guy and he really cares about your overall experience. Property Manager Overview Oscar Lopes is the property manager. This guy is absolutely incredible. It doesn't matter where you stay, there will be hiccups along the way. What matters is how it is handled. Oscar handles any issue with absolute class and completely empathetic to any of your concerns. This guy takes concierge to a whole new level. If you want to make sure you are taken care of rent from villa #7 and Oscar will ensure all your needs are met. Conclusion: If you are looking for the perfect place to rent a beach house, go down to rocky point and rent from Shaun Hamman. This owner has his act together and the property leaves you wanting more. Minor hiccups from the stay were patched well from Oscars great problem solving abilities. I was going to wait for my photos back from my wedding to write this review, but I can't take it…read moreanymore! I got married at Modern Farm in March, and it was an incredible experience. If you're considering getting married here, do it! You will not regret it. First, the venue is just beautiful. There's a big white barn with concrete floors (and air conditioning!), which is where we had our ceremony. Plenty of bathrooms, gorgeous bride and grooms quarters. The lawn is huge and green and lovely, and lined with mature trees. It was 90 degrees on my wedding day but it was perfectly comfortable on the property thanks to all the shade from the trees. Parking is limited on site, but there are side streets to park down. The DoubleTree nearby provides a free shuttle. We had 100 or so guests and didn't have any problems. We encouraged carpooling, provided parking maps with Sean's help, and told guests not to block driveways or park too close to stop signs. It's in a residential area, so be mindful of the neighbors. Ok, second, Sean was an incredible host. Having our wedding there felt like having it at a friend's house. Sean was so easy-going and opened the property to us so many times to let us scheme and meet with vendors (many of whom were recommendations from Sean and were outstanding!) On the morning of our wedding, we had a couple acrylic signs that we had made that weren't working with the easels that we brought. Sean said no problem, grabbed some wood, cut it, routed out the middle, and MADE US STANDS for the signs that were absolutely perfect. Can you believe? He's such a good guy, and it's things like that that really make you feel like you're in the right place. Thanks again, Sean and family!

So I emailed them from the "contact us" section on their website asking to view the property then received a response the next day and after a few emails back and forth we scheduled an appointment even though brief. I was told to text them a reminder. So after texting them a reminder on the day of, no response, then later I sent another text while on the way. They called me and told me they have no memory of scheduling my appointment but that they were up the street and would come meet me there. Then told me to just look around myself and call if I have questions. So my fiancé and I were just walking around the venue alone not knowing what's what. We felt like our wedding or business wasn't even important. We get they're probably busy and deal with a ton of people but just a big lack of respect. A wedding is a special time to a couple they want to feel like it's special and not a burden.
