This airport totally exceeded our expectations. We took air stairs off the plane and a short shuttle to the airport. It was very spacious and very clean! Customs was organized and very quick. It took us a total of 10 minutes to get completely through all customs. The signage throughout the airport was easy to read and was both in English and Spanish. The baggage claim was very easy to find and we got our bag within two minute of walking up. The bathrooms were spotless also! Last, the shuttle service/transfer area right outside the exit was also very organized. We had prescheduled our transfer with our resort and were given directions ahead of time of who to look for, what he would be wearing, and the general location. We found him within five minutes and the shuttle was clean and well air conditioned. Overall, one of the best airport experiences I've ever had from start to finish. read more

my luggage zippers were destroyed in cabo san lucas airport. One zipper was completely broken off the second was detached . I brought it to the attention of a employee that checks the bag a second time he shucked it off by saying ya go there and make a claim- however that would mean I would miss my flight. I just purchased my luggage new to match this was my very first time using it oh boy was I saddened by them just destroying my luggage I had some items missing from my zipper area except for 3 items. I have no claim number so its a done deal according to a complaint I tried to file when I further assessed the damage at home. Only corporate and private aircraft. In past, I would fly another corporate airplane in and out of here nearly every month. Now, less frequently. Of the many airports I've been into for Mexico, this one stands alone as my favorite. Family owned here and easier than all other MX airports for Customs and fuel services. Catering done here and they quickly prepared several good foods for me this past week. I flew a group in here Jan 3 and returned Jan 8 to get those same people. This airport reminded me of a mall food court with some terminals. Fortunately, Southwest was awesome as always and I was able to board and deplane without any issues. Of course my favorite part was the duty free store, where I was able to get some great alcoholic souvenirs that definitely aren't available in the states. Do yourself a favor and walk straight past the time share folks once exiting to your shuttle resorts. We've used Airport Cabo several times in the past. We love the beverages upon arrival and prices that equal or beat the shared shuttle rates. Because of our past experience we used them again on our recent trip to Cabo (11/15 - 11/24). Communicating with Esteban was always pleasant and prompt. We had a group of 11 coming in at 2 different times but returning at the same time. Esteban was able to get me a very fair quote which is why I always use them ... why pay more for shared shuttles (ugh). Our driver was Jovanny and he gets 2 thumbs up. So pleasant to deal with and very accommodating. He also kept my mother-in-law company while we ran into Walmart to do some quick shopping for supplies. We did have a hiccup with the 2nd group coming into Cabo but it was quickly rectified within 15 minutes. I don't know why the driver didn't show up but Esteban responded quickly and got a driver there within 15 minutes. On the way home we got Jovanny again! There was an accident on the toll road so Esteban communicated with me via email to let me know Jovanny was running 20 minutes late. I appreciated that. We got to the airport safe and sound and hope to see Jovanny on our next trip to Cabo. Tips: 1. I always confirm my pick ups the night before. 2. At the Cabo airport just go through the glass doors and skip the people trying to help you as they are trying to get you to listen to a timeshare. Follow Esteban's instructions and avoid the delays. Friendly staff treated us like family. Driver was on time in a shuttle bus not an SUV as requested oh well no big deal I guess he's on time most importantly. We used Airport Cabo for our round trip to/from the airport to our hotel in Cabo San Jose. We were greeted with a sign with my name on it. The drivers were so awesome and professional. Offered us water and offered to make any stops if we wanted to for groceries. We were picked up in an Escalade, older model but very clean. Our driver was Giovanni, he was a nice guy. Offered recommendations for his favorite restaurants and go-to spots. I enjoyed their services so much I used them for transport from San Jose into Cabo San Lucas. This time we were picked up in a Mercedes sprinter van. Our driver then was also very kind and professional. We taxied back (since we didn't know what time we'd be done) and regretted it! Taxi driver was rude and drove like a mad man, high beaming other drivers and swerving in and out. At that point I regretted not calling Airport Cabo for our drive back! The taxi ride was the same price but service was obviously so much better with AC! Another huge plus, I made so many changes via email and phone to my reservations I thought for sure something would get mixed up, but they were always there on time, in uniform and with a smile! They really were the best. Esteban the manager is so awesome. Even with all my changes, I was frustrated with myself! But he was always so kind. Highly recommend this shuttle service. Julio was our driver. When we arrived an older gentleman was holding a sign with my name. We waited about 5 minutes for the driver. It was raining when we got there and Julio had a huge umbrella for me while he carried my bag. We rode in a huge Mercedes Van that was clean with cold AC. He offered us drinks during the ride too. On the return trip, Julio arrived to pick us up a few minutes early and offered us drinks again. Julio was the best. He was friendly and gave us a bunch of tips about what we could do during our trip. The entire transaction and ride while in Mexico was seamless. I would 100% recommend this 5 star company. We recently used Airport Cabo for a family trip in which we had two groups flying in from different cities in November 2014. We rented a van to accommodate the group but half the group was delayed several hours. I emailed Esteban to inquire if they could take the first group and send a second shuttle for us. He emailed back quickly and made the arrangements for us at a very reasonable price. Airport Cabo let the first group know the situation and had the second shuttle for our group ready when we arrived. We have already booked them for an upcoming trip in December. I found this just too loose on confirming , and service for me. Several emails back and forth to make sure we are confirmed to be picked up When we arrived at the airport, we went to umbrella 5 as instructed but no one there, walked few feet away and someone had a sign but none with our name. I showed him my information of confirmation and he called Esteban,who confirmes us told him to take us, our driver then gave that persons card to another driver who was standing inside the bar talking to bartender. No confirmation email or text for our return trip back to airport. Texted and emailed to make sure driver coming at 10am. Had to finally call to get yes, response and was told the drive on his way wouold be there at 10 or 10.05. driver finally came about 10:16. Driver then took us the long way o the airport instead of the new shorter expressway. The whole experience was stressfull. Drivers were very nice. read more

THEY FORGOT TO PICK US UP FROM THE HOTEL!!! Facts: - Paid via PayPal for roundtrip transportation service (airport to hotel to airport) and got email confirmation of the reservation and transaction (couple weeks before our trip). - Emailed the company the day before our trip just to confirm our reservation again but got no reply which was a little concerning but... - Driver was at Cabo airport upon our arrival. - There was also a Coordinator from the company at the airport who confirmed our departure date and time and told us that our pick up time from the hotel would be 12:30pm for our transport back to the airport. - On our departure day, we were in the hotel lobby by 12:25pm to be picked up. We notified the hotel doorman which transport company would be picking us up and the time they said they'd arrive. - At 12:45pm we asked the front desk to call the company as they still had not arrived. - Once the hotel employee got in contact with the company around 12:55pm, the company claimed that they didn't have any pick up scheduled. - We provided our confirmation number which they looked up and they realized then that they did have it on file. So they most likely just forgot to schedule it in. - With no apology, they said they'd send someone over to pick us up by 1:30pm, "no problem," they said. Our flight was at 3:30pm, which was still enough time, but THEY said 12:30pm pick up and imagine if we hadn't called them... Then what? - Driver finally did arrive at 1:30pm. When we asked him what happened, still with no apology, he gave excuses saying he was there at 12:25pm and left because no one was there and figured we had cancelled or changed the time. - Fortunately, even with this hiccup, we made it to the airport a little after 2pm with enough time to get through security and make our flight. All in all, I felt the company handled this situation very unprofessionally. I understand that mistakes happen and they probably just forgot to schedule our reservation, but a simple apology would've sufficed with their remedy to the issue. But instead, it was "no big deal". They forgot but "there's still time" so just wait another hour for the driver. And even the driver just made excuses and offered no apology for the mistake and pretended like nothing was wrong. Business as usual I guess... If that's the case, I highly discourage others from using this company's services. Unless you're prepared to make last minute calls and changes to your travel plans, worrying about whether you'll get to the airport on time, if at all. Reading through the other yelp reviews, it looks like there were a couple others who ran into the same issue where the company forgot to pick them up from their hotels for transport to the airport. Seems like a reoccurring problem... If you do choose to go with this company, for whatever reason, I'd suggest you call them AT LEAST 30 minutes prior to your hotel pickup to make sure they have you scheduled. After reading Yelp reviews, we decided to use Airport Cabo for airport transfer services. We compared their rates with other car transportation companies in Cabos, and found them to be reasonable. Pick up from the airport was a bit stressful as we had to find the company's pick up sign from outside of the airport. Inside the airport, one needs to be aware of all sorts of sales people who would approach you to see if you need a ride or not. However, the ride itself was pleasant. On our transfer from hotel back to the airport, our driver Julio was awesome! He was more than punctual and showed up earlier than the expected time, which was great. He was a very pleasant young driver with good humor. He was also very kind to our kids teaching them some Spanish and making some jokes. While we are on our way to the airport, he stopped briefly to show us a scenic view of the ocean at San Jose del Cabo. Overall we are very impressed with his services, and would like to highly recommend this company and Julio! read more
