It is a $65 a day rental (not sure if it depends on the item being rented), but because they are closed on the weekend we needed to return it on Monday. It was great! it gave us a few days to determine if we were going to actually purchase one, but it also helped up to determine if the problem we are having needs to be done immediately so we appreciated that timeline. I didn't go with my dad to rent it, but he had a very positive experience renting it. They were helpful and knowledgeable and could tell my dad knew what he was doing. They load the item into your car and unload it when you return so that is a plus because I was the one to return the auger and I was concerned I wasn't going to be able to lift it by myself. They were very kind and helpful when I returned the auger. I was a little late returning it by 7 mins and I was worried they would charge me for a day.
