I arrived around 10am, super friendly check in service and was quoted 5-6 hours to come back. My item ended up being ready in 2.5 hours, but mostly what I appreciated was the text message responses. I received a text message when I dropped my item off, with the ticket number and expected pick up time, and I received a text message when my item was ready with the ticket number. I was looking for a quick turnaround dry cleaner for an upcoming event. Read the reviews for Fireweed Cleaners and decided to stop by. Upon entering I noticed the lobby is very spacious and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. My initial quote for time to dry clean a suit jacket, slacks, and shirt was by 5 the next day. I received a text at 10:52 the next day saying my order was ready for pickup or I could have it delivered. I picked it up but having the option for delivery is a nice bonus. I feel that dry cleaning 3 pieces of laundry for around $25 in less than 24 hours is pretty reasonable. I will come back when I need more dry cleaning done. read more

We went to Fireweed Cleaners to get my Boyfriend's uniform cleaned because - surprise - he waited until the day before his event to clean it. Luckily they said they could complete it by the next morning - we dropped it off close to closing. They said it was going to be an extra $4 for it to be the quick turnaround. My bf said on base it was like $50 total for his dry cleaning of a uniform. When he went to pick it up the next day, it was $30 at Fireweed Cleaners, with the rush. Amazing. One of my winter coats was in dire need of a clean so I dropped it off on Friday during my lunch break. I gave them my phone number so I could receive a text when my coat was done. The man at the front told me my coat would be ready on Saturday by 5:00pm. I didn't receive a text until Monday evening even though the tag on my coat also said Saturday by 5:00. Not a big deal since I didn't need the coat right away, but I would have preferred to have been told my coat would be ready later. The job was well-done and the price for my coat ($8.35) was lower than expected. I would come here again next time I need dry cleaning done. read more

I had an important event come up and needed an alteration on a coat. It should be noted I was on a time constraint in receiving this back, but they quoted me a 24 hour turnaround. 24 hours have gone by and the explanation I've been provided is that it's my fault and I should have given this to them sooner. While I understand a 24 hour turnaround is a pretty y'all order, I was quoted on this timing and made my plans as such. During this process they have done no outreach or provided any status of my jacket. Past the 24 hour mark it was me who had to call them when they should have contacted me the moment they knew they couldn't fulfill. read more

So I have indifferent and negative views of this place and company. I started taking my laundry to the branch located on Abbott Road and switch to the main one on Fireweed because i had a horrible experience. The receptionist at the branch located on Abbott Road was extremely rude to me not once, but 8 times (yes I counted) until I told her how rude she was, made her apologize and then I switched to the cleaners on fireweed. So far, it has been super annoying dealing with these folks. I am the type of customer that pays at the time of drop off.....and the mountain of issues that I have encountered just to get that simple task done has been a b****. They have to "log"every item in......but it takes them 18 minutes for 10 shirts to wash....all the while I'm sitting there like "......kill me" AT LEAST if all if this was done without making me feel like an annoying customer I would continue coming back.....but I have dropped my last load of laundry with them today and I'll be moving on to other dry cleaners. Word of Advice to this business: DON'T YOU EVER assume that you're the best in town, or that your doo doo don't stink. There are five dry cleaners just like you that provide excellent customer service at a cheaper price. What do you have to offer? Because so far, you've damaged two of my shirts.....plus treated me like crap....and now like an annoying customer. You guys suck monkey butt. read more

I recently returned to One Hour Fireweed Dry Cleaning on Fireweed Lane after years of using the nearer Gen-X Cleaners on 36th which closed this year. Fireweed welcomed me back with friendly personnel and the same good service as before. Two Pendleton wool shirts ran $7.95 each with attention to soiling that I mentioned at check-in. By far the best customer service. We've tried cleaners closer to our home but found it's worth it to drive. The staff is always helpful and pleasant and our suits are consistently cleaned just right. Recently we had a large number of curtains dry cleaned. We were in a bind with timing but they came through. The drapes are clean and they were finished early! They are just top notch! read more
