This combination worked perfectly, allowing us to comfortably and safely transport our entire group--and all our gear--between Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport and Alyeska Resort in Girdwood. Avoid Alaska trailer as they can leave you absolutely stranded due to incompetence and unprofessional work, they are lucky I didn't take them to small claims court, very lucky. The job was completed and I made it to the Yukon Territory about 2 weeks later, traveling no more than 65 mph and a wheel bearing burned up. I was in the middle of nowhere, 2hrs from any community. 8 hrs and $900 later I was towed into Whitehorse YT at a shop. 3 days later and $2500 I was back on the road. I tried to get Alaska Trailer to do the right thing and reimburse for the towing, that didn't happen. They did refund for my cost of the one bearing repair but not the towing. If they were a legit, ethical business in Anchorage they would have refunded the towing and their initial fees for doing the crappy, work to begin with. Their work should not be allowed in Alaska and they do not stand behind their work. Get stranded because of them and oh well, not willing to make it right. You have been warned!

Thankfully for Yelp I was able to quickly look up tire shops in walking distance. Clines Tesoro popped up and was the only one in the vicinity open on a Saturday (weird??). The gentleman on the phone was super helpful. We let him know what happened and he let us know he was able to help us jack up the trailer and swap tires out (we had a spare). They don't sell rims. But they do sell tires. They let us unhook the trailer and kept an eye on it while we ran home to get the spare. Because of course it's the day we took the spare off to carry other goods we needed for our trip. Very friendly service. Two bathrooms that are customer use only and relatively clean. If you end up with a tire issue in the area I recommend stopping here. They're friendly, accommodating and not trying to rip you off.

We also had a new roof put on two weeks prior and in doing so, we discovered some bits of rotten fascia boards. Originally, ABC wasn't going to be able to do our gutters until much later in the season. They called my hubs to say they would be in our neighborhood the next day and wanted to do the gutters. My hubs explained that we had discovered some rotted fascia and we needed to fix that before the gutters were installed. ABC offered to fix the bad fascia and do the gutters same day. Yes, there was an up charge for the fascia. Totally worth it!! The techs were polite and thorough. They had colors that matched our house and trim. We did not opt for the gutter guard system, we don't have many trees. My neighbor loves her gutter guards, though.

He then dropped us off for dinner and took us to lodging. He picked us up the following day. ABC gave us a vehicle to go have breakfast and do our shopping. There are no mileage charges and do not charge for dumping, cleaning, or any other charges that some companies apply to the bill. Would highly recommend. This was our first time to rent a motorhome and it has been a great experience.

My husband, based on what I had to say about the truck and the way I was treated and the air of honesty I felt while talking with Steve and Thomas, decided to buy the truck... You should know the truck was a older model that banks dont typically finance. Thomas handled the loan app and got it sent to the right bank for us. OMG the communication! Thomas stayed on top of the app and it went through and in short.. I am thrilled. These guys were awsom from start to finish. Brought it in for service -- was told the window leak couldn't be found. However, found a heavy silicone patch applied on that window alone. Liars! The trailer came back with new damage on the interior panels -- screws and staple marks that weren't there before. No acknowledgment, no accountability. Months of emails followed. The owner, Vik, eventually responded in writing that everything is the manufacturer's responsibility and directed me to Keystone. Keystone then confirmed they have zero warranty claim history for my unit -- meaning the repairs performed here were apparently never filed with the manufacturer at all. I gave this dealership every opportunity to make this right. What I got was delay, deflection, and silence. If you're buying here, just know: the experience ends the moment you drive off the lot.

They were more expensive than I expected ($150/hr). I don't even think Mercedes techs charge that much, but maybe that is just how RV techs are, and it is normal. They were friendly and the service was good, but they are training front desk people so paying for and picking up the trailer was painfully slow. Otherwise, a good experience. And I think we called and got an appointment the same week, though we had to wait for parts to be ordered, but they worked fast when they could.
