This looked like such a cute course with the candy sculptures throughout the course. Unfortunately, most of the lights did not work so we could not see the holes. The holes were rather boring too from what we could see. Almost every hole was hit the ball over a small hill or around a curve. For $11, we expected the maintenance and upkeep to be much better. The course was also overrun by skunks. Luckily they didn't spray, but it was very scary. Don't waste your money going here after dusk. Supposedly the manager has been made aware, but no fix after a few weeks according to a staff member. read more

My husband and I play mini golf all summer at alot of different courses in the area, and the thing that I notice right away at each course is how clean the turf is. The better courses will blow off the entire course every day so that it is a pleasant experience to play! i Iike these courses for how challenging that they are, but they could be a little better maintained with debris on the holes and overgrown landscaping. For what they are charging there it should look as high end as they are charging to play. read more

My friend and I took her daughter and my niece to play mini golf. Her daughter had never been and she was very excited to go. My niece had played here once before with her family. The course was supposed to be an easy one but seemed a little on the hard side in my opinion with all the up hill slopes for them to get the ball up. The girls didn't mind tho. Giggles everywhere and flying golf balls. They enjoyed themselves and that's all that really matters. The course itself is relatively clean aside from a few spots that has some debris. Nothing in the way of the girls getting the balls around the course tho. I was happy to see they have benches on the course every few holes. So if you're like me and have issues with standing for long periods they definitely help. It wasn't too busy so the girls were able to take their time. The guy that helped us was very friendly. My niece accidentally hit her ball a little too hard, bounced it over the little ledge, through the bushes and straight into the pond. We saw it a few holes later. Anyway she was able to go and request another ball and continue on. Overall it's a cute little course and they cannot wait to go back. It's nice that they have an easy side and right next to it is the entrance for a more difficult course. So with two courses I'm sure even if it was to get really busy you would move through relatively quickly. We saw a beaver too. My friend was screaming that she saw something and it wasn't a cat haha so while the girls played their hole we walked to where she saw it. It was a beaver haha it was more scared than she was. So watch out for the little beaver hanging around. read more

I had a good time at this course, but it pales in comparison to other miniature golf courses I have frequented in the past. My significant other & I were lured in by the constant advertising on channel 3. And trust me, they do a REALLY good job framing this place on television. If you are in the area feel free to stop in & play a round, but by no means make a trip to Golf-Land just for Putt-Putt. The course itself is fairly boring & wasn't designed for enthusiasts - more for kids. It isn't challenging or imaginative in the slightest. Beyond that, they need to do a better job of closing themselves off from the outside world, moreover, part of the course butts-up against an abandoned parking lot. It really kills the charm & immersion. Wouldn't have imagined that given how well this place is framed on the news. They make it seem like a theme-park almost. TL:DR - Fine but not great. Sweeties Golfland makes for a fun, unique outing for friends and family. My family decided to check this place out during the mid-afternoon on a weekday. The place was surprisingly busy! The location itself is like walking into a Candyland board game. Everything is adorably decorated and makes the whole occasion feel whimsical. We checked in and the staff members were friendly and helpful. We decided to do the easy course because none of us are exactly puttputt professionals. We found the easy course to be pretty challenging! There was a pretty wide variance of structures for the holes. I would say it took our family of four about an hour and a half to complete the easy course. There were many laughs along the way! My mother got a hole-in-one on the final hole so we were able to spin a wheel for a free prize. We left with our free popcorn and walked right over to Sweeties Candy Store. Sweeties Golfland followed by a visit to their candy store is a unique, fun way to spend a day. Places like these are why everyone loves CLE! read more

Took the family here on Sunday July 14th. It's close to our house plus we've never been there before. I could not believe all the trash that was scattered all over the place. Water bottles left through out the courses. Water bottles in the pond, on the benches, on the ground. Also what surprised me was how dirty the greens were. Every hole had branches, leaves, or bird poop on it. I spoke to the manager on the way out and she said she would take care of it. Don't know if she did cause we left. You know I've seen their commercial on tv and the courses look so nice and clean. It was just a shock kinda to get there and just see all the filth. The candy warehouse was surreal - all of your childhood favorite candies in endless aisles for selection. We went to try our hand at mini-golf and it was fun, with a couple exceptions: * we went at night and not all the lights near the holes were lit up, so it was challenging to see the hole * the holes could have been more varied in the setup; they had variations in elevation and grassy pits. But no water pits or a huge difference in the 18 holes we played Lastly, we tried the ice cream and it looked great. Our friend hit up the ice cream bar and added a few different candies to the soft ice cream. My other friend and I tried to siclyones, which allow you to mix 2 things into it. We asked for cookie dough and cake batter and our order came out with the incorrect mix-ins. The customer service was so-so at the ice cream bar. We had to wait several minutes for service with no one in line. I'd recommend checking this place out but don't have high expectations of superior service or excellent mini-golf play. read more

My family and I came here yesterday for some family time and loved every min. My four year old was free so we were worried she wouldn't enjoy it but she sure did! We took the easy course and it still was enough of a challenge for the husband and I. We will be back for the harder course soon. You can pick either 18 or 36 holes. We went 18 since it was close to lunch time and we weren't sure how our four year old would handle it. She probably could have made it all 36. I liked that there were trees for shade which helps on a hot sunny day. Lots of benches for people to rest. It was a great course! Be sure to check out the candy store behind it. Lots and lots of candy! Even candy you haven't seen in years!!! We stocked up. Also the drinks are great. Lots of interesting flavored pops. We picked grass soda and it tastes like grass and clover. A mini golf course that's nice to play and look at, too! Driving up, some might be confused on if they hit the correct driveway as the signage in the parking lot is mostly for the neighboring church. Keep driving to the back and look left! Great prices - only $7 for 18 holes for adults, and a small discount if you play both courses. Though the courses are labeled easy and hard, they look to be very similar in skill required. We choose the hard course and our only disappointment was it didn't take us close to the koi pond. We did sneak down onto the easy course, but the fish food machines were sadly empty, so the huge koi fish went hungry. At the end of the courses, there are three old-school kids coin operated rides, like you used to see at grocery store entrances. They are FREE and would be a great distraction/treat for little ones not as into the golfing. The gazebo situated above the two courses, would make for great people watching while eating some cheap (but tasty!) ice cream on a busy night. ($2.25 for a dish with one topping) On a quiet night, you can just gave at the man-made river that flows through the course. Overall, great place for family or date night! read more

It is an adequate minigolf course. Granted, the lollipops and candy theme is pretty cool for a golf course, but there is a lack of imagination when it comes to the actual course. We did their "hard" course. Everything is green, rough green, or cement. While there is water around, there is no water traps or sand traps. The holes were also fairly simple. Several things made this a bad experience for me and my family. The course is in bad shape and the putting surface was damaged or bulging up in several places. We also got stuck behind a group of 7 people which is in violation of their policy. After over an hour on the "course" I said something to the attendant. He apologized but generally dismissed me. After doing the first hole of mini-golf the park was closed and it took over 25 minutes for us to see what to do with our purchase of your second round of mini-golf. I played the "easy" course with a few friends, but was still a lot of a challenge. Super fun! I love how they re-did this course with all the candy theming. I golfed here when I was very young and it was in disrepair and a lot of riff-raff played here. Now, it's all families and it's in great shape. I'm so glad sweeties acquired all this, you can make an evening out of the mini golf course and the soda shoppe. Who doesn't love candy or mini golf? Sweeties golf land combines the two in one location. The kids that I nanny and myself come for the mini golf, play a game, then head over the the candy part to pick out a treat before we head home. The prices at the golf land are very reasonable. If you go for early bird pricing (10am-3pm), you can play for $5 a person instead of $7.50. Kids 4 and under are free. You get to choose an easy course or a hard course. We have played both (with a 6 and 4 year old) and they enjoyed both options. At the end of the courses, they have car rides that are free. Once we finish our round (18 holes) the kids love to spend some time on these. They are just the kind of cars that you would see outside of a store or inside of a mall that rock back and forth. My experience with the employees has simply been average. The first time we went, the boy that helped us was very short with the kids and did not seem to know how to treat them. We ordered some snacks from a different, very polite boy and also ice cream from an older woman. She was nice, but could have been more helpful. Their menu says that they have ice cream and lists sizes, but does not give any more information. When I asked what kind of ice cream they had, her response was "well, what are you looking for?" Which was overall a weird exchange. My one change would definitely be the food selection. They have popcorn, nachos, hotdogs, and ice cream. I would love to see pizza or pretzels or anything else that would be more appealing to the kids so that we could stay and have lunch after we play golf. Overall, the kids have a lot of fun here and there are quite a few things to do to keep them entertained. The candy store is huge and has anything you could possibly want. read more

This is a very unique place to visit. The mini golf is very well kept and it was fun with the different obstacles on the course. With the candy store and soda shoppe next door it was a fun time looking at all the candy and picking some jellybeans from the massive amount they have to choose from. The soda shoppe is so unique, having wooden swings at the tables. My kids loved being able to swing and draw on the paper table clothes while eating their ice cream. It is a strange location but has 36 holes and two courses (easy & difficult), and it is priced wells at $7 a person for 18 holes and $12 a person for 36 holes.
