We came here around 4pm on Monday, it wasn't too busy but had some people here. The prices are good compared to other Bowling Alleys, it cost about $38 for 3 people that included shoes and 3 games, we were able to bowl at our own pace which I loved. We ordered some wings which was better than expected, quite good actually. There's a full bar and soft drinks. Service was great from the point we walked in until we left. For either a casual bowler or die hard league bowler, this house is amazing. Newly renovated and all the lanes are spacious with plenty of seating for your group. I ordered some tots and queso from the bartender (slept on order) and it came out so fresh I think it walked itself to me from the fryer. Also, the drinks are VERY well priced for a bowling alley bar. The first time the bartender told me my total I had to make sure she got everything I ordered. The cosmic/glow bowling is also really good as the backlights are off the lane enough for neon balls to really pop as they roll down the lanes. Edit: my ONLY complaint is the sound system is right over the approach and it is difficult to focus with the music blasting over your head. Positive night: all the music was good jams! read more

Honestly was pleasantly surprised with my experience here! Came on a random Tuesday with some friends to bowl and hang, and we had a lovely time. It's clean, cozy, and Tuesdays is $2 games, $2 tacos, and $4 margs! What a deal, although the $2 tacos aren't anything special. Not extremely delicious by any means, but they had a kinda homemade charm and it wasn't a bad deal. The star was definitely the pizza and wings which was unexpected! If you want a private bowling day, this is the place to go. My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate a quiet Valentine's Day date. We've always drove by this place but never gave it a shot because it's in the cut of the Sanford airport. Once we did research and found out that it's the same owner as Aloma Bowl, we were all in. We love Aloma Bowl too! Bowling is $25/hour not including shoe rentals. Food is delicious as always. We ordered their 18-piece wing, split in half for Hot and Garlic Parmesan, then a side order of cheese curds. Got two pitchers of Budlight too. What we love about this place is that there is something for someone. Their food is made to order (which is why it takes a while for it to come out), and if you do not like bowling as much, there is an arcade or a bar to hang out at. read more

Wonderful first visit today to watch my nephew compete in a youth tournament at Airport Lanes. Very friendly staff here at this spacious and attractive bowling alley. And better food than what you might get visiting other lanes - particularly those pretzel sticks. Delicious! I don't bowl myself but I can see why folks visit with their families and enjoy each other's company. Even in competition. It's nice to see - especially during these crazy times - that people can still get together and bowl a few games without breaking into fist fights. I would definitely recommend visiting Airport Lanes if you're looking for something fun to do. I love that there is a bowling alley close to home. We love to bowl and have been here a couple of times already. Those times we were here was never busy. The prices are pretty decent as well. The only complaints I have is that there was a group of 12-year-olds that went up to my 16-year-old son and asked him for his Snapchat because they thought he was a huzz the parents of these fucking toddlers. We enjoyed the wings, beer, and excitement. Heard a lot about their wings and they were fantastic. Cheese curds were hot and crispy. Would definitely come back for the wings. Airport Lanes a laid-back bowling alley located in Sanford Florida. It's kind of out-of-the-way, so unless you know exactly where you're going, you're not gonna find it. I like that they have relatively good prices, and the favorite time for us to go is Wednesday nights because you can get shoes two games for $14 total, which is a great price. They have a pretty great bar, solid food area where you can get pulled pork sandwiches, hamburgers, chicken wings, french fries, and my absolute favorite is the homemade potato chips! They are fresh potatoes sliced, deep fried, and seasoned! They taste amazing! My one complaint is that it can get really, really messy and loud in the bowling alley, and people are very irresponsible with their lanes. I come to Airport Lanes several times a year for a fun night out. Tonight (10-4-19), some friends called me out of the blue to see if I wanted to go bowling. Well, we went bowling and had a blast as usual. We got here around 8:30pm and played three games. My friend bought my games so I bought the beers. I was surprised to see that this place was not packed to full capacity on a Friday night. There was a league event of some kind taking place at the end closest to concessions but it was nothing out of hand. I love playing here at night because of the neon lights. It reminds me of being in a arcade/game room. The lights give it a comfortable vibe. The alley is well kept and the staff are all very helpful and plesent to deal with. Our server Diana was on point with ice cold pitchers of beer ($13 shock top) and frosted glasses. I've ordered food here in the past and have not had any issues. Tonight, One of my friends ordered french fries and they were really good. We were having some problems with the ball return unit. The ball kept getting stuck and we had to wait until another ball would come through to push our ball out. This could be a problem if your in a competitive group. However, I was just having fun so I didn't think much of it. I will definitely be back in the future to bowl at Airport Lanes. We came here on a Sunday afternoon for my girlfriend's birthday. They were having a special three games and shoes for $12.! This bowling alley is huge and has a game room pool tables, dart boards, TVs, a very large bar and snack bar. It is very clean and newly remodeled. I love this bowling alley and hope it doesn't change!! They do have flat screen TVs to watch sports while bowling and lounging in the bar area. They also have a small arcade area, but the place is not obnoxiously loud with a bunch of blinking lights and screens in your face. Other bowling alleys in our area have such loud music. The background music hear is audible but it doesn't require you to shout over it to talk to your friends. The bathrooms and bowling alley are clean and the staff is friendly. The seating area and venue are well-kept even if the décor isn't super modern. They get to know the regulars. They even have a professional bowler who runs a bowling store on site. You can play a normal game of bowling for a fair price. They don't have the fancy bowling games on the computer screens like Angry Birds, but I prefer that. I find the new bowling alleys to be unnecessarily complicated and they take away from the form and strategy of the game. It's not crazy crowded except maybe on Friday and Saturday nights. Their pizza, funnel fries, and chips & salsa are good. The hamburgers and fries, not so much. Sometimes it can take awhile to get your food if they are busy, but it's usually not too bad of a wait. Considering how short-staffed so many places are these days, they have a good number of employees working for them. I personally appreciate that they haven't skimped on hiring employees as a lot of businesses have. It's not crazy crowded except maybe on Friday and Saturday nights. They do have a bar area with a friendly bartender. She's super nice and greets us by name. The Simon guy who does Trivia on Monday nights is funny and you can win gift cards to Airport Lanes. We also enjoy music video bingo on Thursdays. Although I'm not a serious bowler, they offer a variety of different kids and adult leagues. My husband and I are actually considering joining one since they do have ones for casual bowlers. They have serious bowling leagues, too. My kids belong to the youth leagues there and it has been a great experience for them. They have made friends, improved their skills and have even won scholarship money. We originally found Airport Lanes during their "kids play free all summer" promotion. I'm grateful that we tried it because it has become a staple in my kids' lives. read more

Haven't been here in a long while! We love the new renovations, black lights, music and videos! This evening they played a lot of hip hop and R&B music for the family. The music selection made me feel like I was attending a wedding reception with all the group songs (i.e. Cuban shuffle, electric slide, cha cha slide, Wobble). Definitely a great way for my family to celebrate the end of the school year! There were about 10 of us and we payed for shoe rentals, 2 games each, 2 lanes, 2 soda pitchers, and 2 large pizzas for only $10 per person. Honestly, you can't beat that. Must've been a in house special but we certainly felt special and we will definitely attend again! It's was only a Sunday night and there were other people there but it wasn't crowded and we didn't have to wait for a lane that evening! I loved the customer service and the new uniforms. They've really hired a young staff but they were well groomed, nice, and ran the place like pros. read more

Really disappointed with our visit today. We got a call that the lanes finally reopened after being temporarily closed for months and finally found time to come by and check it out. The lady on the phone said it had great renovations and was up and running. So we went, honestly didn't look too different but whatever. About halfway through our first game every lane shut down for no disclosed reason (lanes and screens went dark). Employees slowly brought the lanes back up, ours was still not addressed about five minutes after the neighboring lane came up so we asked an attendant. They brought our lane back a few moments later but wiped our game progress/score. The lanes next to us kept their score, so we went up to ask about this. A man said he would look into it and a phone rang and he answered, so we went back to wait. Five minutes later and nothing changed on our screen/scores, so we look back at the counter and the man is standing around chatting with coworkers. We go up again to ask about the lane and he seems very annoyed and says our score is just gone can't be recovered and he reset our games to start over. No apology at all, no follow through, we would've just been left waiting for info if we didn't go looking for him for an update. Good thing we weren't playing competitively because to lose a great score halfway through a game would be infuriating. So we go back and start the game over again. The ball got stuck several times in the return and the pins wouldn't refresh. We had to reset the pins manually on the screen several times, one time a man had to go and finagle with the pins to get it to work. Given the decor had not changed significantly and clearly equipment and machinery were still old, I'd love to know what was replaced/refreshed in the three-ish months they renovated. The only bright spot was the restaurant staff and this poor woman deserves a raise. The one new thing we noticed in the alley was touch screens to order food. They apparently don't work. The lady working behind the counter stopped us as we went to order, because the machine would take your order and payment, but wouldn't send the order to the kitchen. Another customer came up while I was ordering to complain that his wings never got delivered - the lady never got the order when he placed it 20 minutes ago. She told me she mentioned it to her manager but nothing was done. They could have at least put an out of order sign up. The food we received was good, but it seemed like portions were smaller compared to our last (first ever) visit in September. It just truly seemed like management/employees do not care overall and would rather chat and hang out than take care of the place. For $50 plus what we spent on food, it was not worth it. It's a shame this is the only nearby authentic bowling alley. read more

The interior has been remodeled and looks fantastic very modern looking very upscale looking which I like has a great atmosphere about it. My daughter plays her away matches for her high school bowling team and she loves the facilities they offer at Airport Lanes. I have always been a huge fan of bowling alleys because I grew up around them, my dad has bowled most his life and has been in many bowling leagues. Airport Lanes has a great selection you can choose for food, their kitchen is known as Brooklyn Bar South which serves pizza, chicken wings, nachos, salads, mozzarella sticks, hamburgers, quesadillas, and a plethora of desserts to choose from as well. They also have a great bar that offers drink specials, like $5 margaritas, $10 buckets of domestic beer, frozen drinks, and has a long list of craft beers available on tap and in can/bottle form. Some of the craft beers that they offer are from several local breweries like Funky Buddha Florida, Goose Island, 3 Daughters Brewing, Ancient City Brewing, and they also offer domestic beers as well. They have several pool tables for you to play pool. But one of my favorite things about bowling alleys is the arcade why because arcades are a dying breed and you really can't find them around much anymore, but you can always count on an arcade being inside of a bowling alley. Airport Lanes does not disappoint when it comes to their arcade, you can find a great range of games like pinball machines, air hockey table, first person shooter games, claw machine, fruit ninja just awesome fun games to play. To play their games you have to get a game card with credits on it to operate their games and the game card is reloadable. I have been in a lot of different bowling alleys in my life and Airport Lanes does everything in their power to make your bowling experience a great one. I haven't bowled for a while. This visit was for a friend's birthday and on Fridays, there's bowl two games for $10, shoes included! The evening hosts blacklight bowling on Fridays, so there's lights, and glowing white near the alley way. There is a bar tucked in the back with some pool tables and darts, some drink specials are available on a huge chalk board. Booked an event at this bowling alley for 30people. Paid for the All American food package That included all beef hotdogs, ground chuck hamburgers, coleslaw, homemade potato chips and dessert. We received pork and chicken hotdogs, not all beef. We received burgers that were drenched in liquid smoke so they would taste like they were on the grill. The potatoe chips were from a bag not homemade. Worst food ever. Bait and switch. People ate pork and got sick because they didn't know it was pork. read more

We called weeks ahead to discuss a birthday party being there on a Saturday night. Called again two days before to confirm it. I was told at 5pm on Sat it wasn't that busy and a few spots would be available....when I arrived I was pretty much told oh well wait because a league rented out almost the entire place. If it wasn't for a league member allowing us to use their lanes the party would have been ruined. I paid $120.... then ontop of that the pizza wasn't hot. And everyone around us where rude and seemed to just be looking for issues. The staff accidently brought the table next to us nachos to us...none of us touched the nachos and immediately said they weren't our but the people said they didn't want our germs. We probably will not return to this location, to many problems. Yes we did get to bowl and it was alright. What ruins this place is the staff and poor planning and also people drink and just acting horrible. read more

I took my team from work here for an end of the year outing. They have a party deal where you get 2 hours of bowling and whatever food package you choose from. Had a solid experience here the other day. Was more entertained by the pool hall in the back area, located near the bar there's several tables that are well enough away from the hectic alleys for one to be able to relax and enjoy a few games. The bartender was also incredibly polite. The bowling alley itself was more or less what you'd expect to find anywhere else. There seemed to be, in our areas at least a substantial lack of bowling ball diversity, and some people in our group had a problem finding the right weight. Typical bowling alley. I'm not sure what the new standard is, but this place seems like what all alleys were 10-15 years ago when I was a more avid bowler. Not that that's bad. The lanes are well-maintained and there's a arcade, bar, & snack bar. Had the pizza and it was kinda on the low-end of what I've had at various bowling alleys, but it was ok.
