The owners are nice. It's pretty expensive at $8 for a small load. But they're the only laundromat on the island and probably need to charge that much to stay afloat. They're smack dab in the middle of the island so it's convenient if you need them but maybe try to get an Airbnb or VRBO with a washer/dryer if it's a better option for you. read more

It's a well-run business and I found it to be very clean. Of course, it being on the Vineyard, prices are fairly high. One downside: There is no space to fold laundry, so one must take it back home to fold. Lots of chairs outside to sit, if temperature allows. read more

The staff is completely inconsiderate. Every time I come here at least 16 out of 24 machines are being used to dry the clothes that people deliver and everyone there has to wait for them to finish their loads in order to dry our clothes. They clearly have 4 machines marked out of order although they are being used by themselves and their friends. Although they are friendly that doesn't take away from the fact the it takes 2 hrs to do 2 loads because you have to wait until their work is done. Ridiculous!! read more

What an odd experience! If you prefer to wash your own clothes rather than a wash and fold service, it's best to avoid this place. They seem to do everything possible to discourage people from using their facility. First of all, there's no seating inside, only outside, but those chairs are in the full sun with no shade of any kind. Local temperature today is 85 degrees. And really no place to stand, or even lean anywhere. Second of all, even though there is a long folding counter, the self service customers are not allowed to use it. In fact, NO FOLDING ALLOWED! As we were loading our clothes from the dryer (unfolded) into our bag, one of the attendants attempted to push us out of the way twice and told us we needed to move. All in all, a very unpleasant experience and now all our clothing is wrinkled! They should stop offering the self service option if they hate it so much. Needless to say, we'll never go back. Thank goodness there's another laundromat on the island. read more

I don't understand all the negative comments, unless the owner did a total revamp. It is a little expensive, but the washing machines looked fairly new and all stainless steel. The girls that work there were very helpful, it is really clean and the decor is cute. Even the bathroom was very clean and updated. There is a change machine and laundry soap and plastic laundry bags and hangers to purchase if you forget yours. Outside is a row of new chairs if you want to sit outside. I went to the laundry mat in Oak bluffs first, it was beyond horrible in every way. Don't bother!! read more

This place is 5,25 a load, 3 miles per quarter to dry, and 75 cents for soap. If you have access to a sink and hang dry, that is a way better option. read more

I tried this place a few times and it was frustrating every time. As a coin op laundromat customer at this establishment, I was forced to compete with the staff there, who continuously used many of the same machines customers were supposed to use, while multiple "house machines" sat unused! There's no reasoning with the girls there. They barely speak English and were rude and condescending. I would have easily gotten finished an hour earlier if they weren't hogging the customer machines. They could care less how long you are stuck there. They enjoy being a pain in the ass. It's almost better to wear dirty clothes than to go there! read more

If I could make it a minus stars I would. They should seriously let customers know the big good washers and dryers are ONLY for staff use! Think they should work after hours or figure another way to allow the clients to use the facility as we need it. Completely dissatisfied with this facility. There is another laundromat in Oak bluff strongly suggest you check that one out before coming to this highway robbery facility where they do not even allow you to use the place fully. When asked if we could use washer for one load we were denied. No kind of the customer is always right here. They can honestly careless. On that note alone I will NOT come here again. Reasonably clean. Hired staff is nice. Space is super small so wheeling the laundry bin around is a nightmare if it's busy in there. Also, a bit pricey per load, but that's par for the course on MV. All that said, the experience was terrible. I was starting a load, adding $6.25 to the machine when two coins jammed. I hit the coin return button a few times and the coins did not release, so like anyone other normal human being who has used a laundromat in there lifetime, I bumped the area twice with the heel of my hand. All the sudden, a man I assume is the owner, charges up and immediately begins screaming "IF YOU HIT THE MACHINE, YOU'LL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE BUILDING!!" With no previous warning or explanation. He repeated this AT me three times, even as I tried to explain that the coin return button didn't work when I tried it. I get these machines are his babies and livelihood, but geezus! If it means that much to not hit what is an industrial washing machine, a sign informing customers of the machine's sensitivity would likely suffice. A suggestion: start with "If coin jams, please ask for help and do not hit machine." And voila! you won't have to have bully your customers every 15 minutes and make everyone in the room uncomfortable - not just the person you are screaming at. Another good story: About 20 minutes later, an older woman (maybe in 50-60's) was having a problem getting the machine to receive her coins and when she asked this same guy for help, he started yelling at her to "stop f*****g shoving coins in the slot." I would like to add that he was on top of this very washer doing repairs on another washer as he was yelling down at her. My overall experience is that it was thoroughly painful to give him my hard earned $10, and despite the slim pickings of laundromats on the island, I don't think I'll do it again. Not even the cute cat that hangs out on the washers would get me back in there. Ef that. read more
