I also think that the hot water on the washing machine is NOT hot! I've put my hand on the door and its lukewarm. I stopped bringing my laundry here, too expensive for lukewarm machines and costly dryers.

Back on-Island after 3 long years and came back to do 3 large loads of laundry. What a pleasant…read moresurprise to find a nice and helpful attendant and her little dog following her all over the place. I needed a refresher course in the use of the machines even though the instructions were on the panel which the attendant happily provided. A pleasant late afternoon experience overall. Here are some things you should know. - Several machines were "out of service" so this could be a real problem for those who come during a busy time. (I'm not taking stars away because I didn't have a problem and it wasn't a busy time.) - Parking is limited in front of this laundromat and if you do get one of the 4-5 spots out front, there is a 15 minute limit before 6pm. Be very careful if you decide to push it. PD does patrol. - There was a coin machine that dispenses quarters for $1, $5, $10, and $20 bills. - A wash load is $7.50 and $10 for the XXL machines. Each cycle is about 25 minutes long for the $7.50 machine; it's over before you know it. Instructions are on the panel. - The dryer is large and expensive at $.25 per 3 minutes - even on "high" mode, clothes aren't completely dry. I fed the dryers almost $3 for a lighter load without towels and thick clothing. - For 3 large loads of laundry, I was finished in about 2 hours and spent about $35. - Full service laundry is available at $3 per lb. You'll have to ask the attendant about turnover time. I've never used this service. There you have it. Hope this information helps. TIP: There's a great spot with Jamaican / Caribbean food, "Vineyard Caribbean Cuisine," in the same building. You can't miss it - it's on the right hand side as you come up the ramp towards the laundromat entrance. There's a line you won't miss either. Order at the take-out window while you wait for your laundry or after. (I'll be posting a review with photos on this.) Good luck!

The washers are old, broken and the outsides of them appear to not have been cleaned since this place opened. The public areas are not tidy or organized. A desk with a rotting chair and shelves with someone's messy hoard. I can't say that I'm not worried that I'll walk away with bedbugs or some other issue from this place. I'm so skeeved out and annoyed to have to spend any amount of time from my vacation in this dump. So vile. No attendant on site. After I loaded 6 loads of laundry (three loads of towels) into the dryers. I put about $15 in quarters into the dryers. Not one of the dryers had heat. I had to load everything into bags and go to a different laundromat to dry everything. Needless to say, I have lost half a day of vacation to this and I'm out $15. If you need to do laundry...head over to Jack's Scrub board! It's clean, bright, nice people who work there and everything works.

We went in and the woman who works there was BEYOND helpful. First off, she came to the door when she saw me trying to bring the comforter in and she opened the door for me. She told me what machine to use and how to use it. She even said she would take care of it for us, washing and drying and we could go next door to the restaurant while it was being done. Hell ya, I'm down with that. I gave her $8 in ones for both washing and drying and we came back over an hour later and the comforter needed more time to dry so I got a chance to talk to this woman who I found out her name was Karen. I asked her "do you own this place" and she said no. I told her, you would think you do because you are so kind and so helpful. I mean beyond helpful, it's just so no 2020, it's more like 1920's helpful which is so nice during these challenging times. If you are the owner of this establishment and you read this review, please make sure you take care of your employee Karen as she is amazing. I wish I owned a business because I might steal her from you to work for me!! She is literally one in a million!
