I came to Airrosti Alamo Ranch for back pain after a coworker recommended them. Dr. Berg and Lance were both incredibly helpful, took the time to explain my treatment plan, and made the recovery process easy to follow. I was originally told I might need around five appointments, but I ended up recovering in just three, which was a pleasant surprise. The exercises they taught me were effective, and I still do them today. I also really appreciated that Dr. Berg followed up with me during treatment and even after I was discharged to make sure I was still doing well. I'm so glad I was referred here. This place is awful. Quoted me for $60 a session and charged me $200. The thing is, they do not hit you with your bill until you have completed you care, so 3 sessions later, they were trying to tell me I owe $600. When I called their billing department they essentially said, "Whoops, we ran your insurance incorrectly, but you still owe us the full $600 total." They told me a manager was going to reach back out to me for months, no response. I called about 7 times or so, and they did not seem to care. I would just be careful if you are considering this place because the quote was not even ballpark what the amount due was and it could put you in a bind. I initially found Airrosti after searching on google for a Chiropractor. I was looking for a more in-depth kind of treatment for a previous injury. At first when I went to the Airrosti website I felt like it wasn't clear on what they actually do to heal injuries. After digging deeper I found a blog post from a woman who described her positive experience. The post set my expectations which was nice so I made the call. From that moment on their customer service was wonderful all the way through to me getting discharged. The woman on the phone was super helpful answering my questions regarding insurance and FSA reimbursements. I scheduled my first appointment with Dr. Zeylaya and was not disappointed. From my first treatment to my last, Dr. Zeylaya was full of information, knowledge, and support. It had been over a month since I had been to the gym due to the pain my injury was causing me. After 2 sessions and doing my physical therapy workouts at home I was able to go back to the gym the week of my third appointment. After the fist 2 sessions I wasn't waking up in pain and had severely reduced the pain I had during the day. The techniques and skills they taught me even helps alleviate the pain when it is flaring up. Mason was also super helpful and when I realized I was doing one of the exercises wrong, he didn't scold me. We laughed about it and he helped me understand what I was doing wrong. I only have great things to say about Dr. Zeylaya and Mason. It is pricey if you have to pay out of pocket, but you only have one body in this life and it is worth taking care of. read more

After seeing 3 other Doctors who each minimized my pain/condition, over medicated me with ineffective prescriptions (and 2 of the 3 misdiagnosed me) I was seriously desperate to find someone who could successfully get me back to some sort of state of normalcy without pain. In short I found Dr. Lakin and was able to get seen immediately (I couldn't even get seen by my PCP in a timely manner, insert eye roll here). My back pain was at a point that I could not actually sit in a chair, reach for something like a cup of water, use the restroom unassisted (can you imagine how embarrassing that is?), sit up in bed by myself and forget putting on a pair a shoes without help. Now lets talk actual treatment: I found her bedside manner to be incredibly compassionate. However, with bedside manner aside, it's the actual treatment and guidance I am so thankful for. I left my first appointment with an understanding of the source of my pain (I did not get this from the previous MDs) and effective plan to manage and relieve my pain. I won't list the treatment as it is personal to myself and my specific diagnosis. However, It is amazing how my body has responded to her treatment just within 2 weeks (3 appointments). I am capable of doing all those activities listed above unassisted. Having a sense of independence is a gift that I took for granted. I have that back and I feel it's strongly due to my Airrosti treatments. I am almost at that state of normalcy that I have aiming for the last 3 weeks. I also feel it's important to mention Dr. Lakin's generosity. She is not in network for my insurance plan, so I am considered a self pay patient. If you are facing that same situation, she'll speak with you about different options depending on the length of your treatment. I work in a hospital revenue team, let me tell this to you, MDs working with patients on payments is rare occurrence. Also, most definitely worth a mention is Paige. I don't exactly remember her title (I'm so sorry!) but she works with Dr. Lakin helping with post assessment rehab exercises. She exercised (pun intended) so much patience with me! There were a few concepts that I just could not grasp, and never once did I feel like I burdened her for asking her to re-explain and re-demonstrate exercises. Thank you both. I plan to return for just regular "maintenance" in the future. Definitely recommend. read more

Dr. Lakin and staff are the best!!! I was referred by my doctor to an Airrosti location for a shoulder injury that was bothering me for a couple of months. After 3 visits and therapy my pain is gone and I can now get a full night's rest! The airrosti treatment can be somewhat painful, but I'd trade the few minutes of pain for the months of nagging pain! Dr.Kate Lakin and Paige are amazing. I had chronic pain in my mid back for several months . Went through a acupuncture treatment which helped a bit. Finally decided it was time to try Airrosti on recommendation from a few friends. Well, it took 6 treatments for me, but I feel so much better!
