I was referred to Airrosti and Dr. Christensen by my long time friends and neighbors in San Marcos. They had both been treated by Dr. Christensen for pain, both of them with back or neck pain. I had never heard of Airrosti, but after going to a chiropractor and a neurologist for severe neck and upper back pain, I was desperate to find help for my pain. Dr. Christensen was very thorough in his explanation of my specific type of pain (herniated disc as seen in my MRI) and then fully explained the therapy that could help me, and why it would help. He also did a deep massage of a particular part of my shoulder each time I visited. I noticed quite a bit of improvement, and when I kept up with my physical therapy exercises at home, I continued to notice improvement. My particular type of herniated disc is less common and fairly severe. I have been to see a surgeon regarding this same pain, and he has said that I still may be in need of surgery, but when I told him about my experiences so far at Airrosti, he encouraged me to continue with that route, because he believed Airrosti is very solid and sound in its approach to preventing surgery when possible. I am currently in a "holding pattern" as far as getting surgery or not. I have much less pain now, since I have been going to Airrosti, and if the improvement continues, I will not get surgery. The practitioners at this Airrosti clinic, Dr Christianson and Dr Benson, recently treated my teen, a swimmer who had been experiencing shoulder pain. The doctors are chiropractors with extensive training in Airrosti and Sports Medicine. Everyone we dealt with, from the scheduling office to both doctors (Dr Christianson and Dr Benson) and their PT assistants were attentive, observant, and extremely clear with explanations and instructions. Plenty of time is scheduled to talk with the patient - I was very impressed that at *each* visit, Drs. Christianson and Benson re-evaluated his progress as thoroughly as at the first, making adjustments in treatment and rehab exercises accordingly. And their PT assistants (Camilla and a second gentleman whose name I can't recall, apologies) are also very professional, excellent instructors. Success with Airrosti treatment requires patient involvement in the form of personlized at-home exercises, and these were given to us via an online format. After the first treatment, my son was back at practice, and the doctor scheduled the remaining visits with the goal to competing at season championship meets with strong, pain-free performances. Dr. Christensen was recommended to me by my gynecologist since she went to him for several injuries & he helped her with her pain issues. I went to Dr. Christensen for a knee injury. The deep tissue massage that Dr. Christensen performed on my knee & leg loosened muscles & tendons that had become so tight that I was limping from the pain. I didn't want to be in a lot of pain any longer. Also, going up stairs one step at a time was not my style. You will feel it when he meticulously massages deeply. Then, he will have you do some therapeutic exercises to continue your road to recovery. He is easy to talk with & answers any questions as you go through the treatment. You also spend time with Raymond who goes through the therapy exercises recommended by Dr. Christensen. Raymond is very thorough as he demonstrates for you & you practice them with him supervising. Dr. Christensen has really helped my pain issue & given me therapy exercises that I can do at home. You set up a patient portal to access videos to perform the therapy exercises properly. You can communicate with both Dr. Christensen & Raymond if you have any questions. My quality of life and movement has greatly improved. Coming from a long history of back pain stemming from my childhood, I didn't know what to expect. I was referred to Airrosti and the next day I got a call and set up my first appointment. Insurance was never an issue and 3 appointments later I can say that this works. Dr. Christensen was very knowledgable in his practice and did extremely well to make everything easy for me to understand. Idk how his thumbs aren't broken haha. Camilla set me up with some good rolling and bending techniques that I'm still using every time I go to the gym and at least 1 time a day. Between the two of them and the knowledge they passed on to me I can say I am extremely happy with the results. I notice by back still has a slight tinge now and then when I hunch a certain way but it's been less persistent and I've been able to start dead lifting again. Given time I know from what I've already experienced, this slight tinge will be history. I was extra appreciative of the follow up call that I received simply asking how I was fairing and if I had any questions. Zane Benson is absolutely knowledgeable and passionate about problem solving the issues in the human body. He is funny, professional, and fluent in describing exactly what the method of action is; before, during, and after. Information is provided for at home follow up. It is essential that one follows this to supplement the work done at appointment. Some adjustments may be uncomfortable and will stop at the threshold of pain so as to not injure. Getting a little uncomfortable in the affected area was absolutely worth the end result of being free from pain and better understanding how to strengthen and avoid further discomfort. *Visit was so impactful that I came back to submit even months after adjustment. read more

The first time I went to Airrosti for help was the fall of 2020. I had horrible pain in my hips when walking and was afraid that, like several of my friends, I'd end up needed hip replacement surgery, I hated the idea of surgery, fortunately a couple of my coworkers suggested I go to Airrosti. I went and met with Dr. Benson, he listened to my description of the hip pain, worked on me for a bit and prescribed several different exercises and sent me on my way. At my next appointment I told Dr. Benson that I was pain free, the exercises were working wonderfully! He discharged me right then and there with no charge at all for our brief meeting that day. Dr. Christensen & Camilla are very experienced & talented professionals. My knee pain, along with other issues, have subsided due to their expert knowledge & care. They do their part but I think the major part of my recovery is the home based exercises. I have learned, through their care over the last few years, that doing my part with the exercises is paramount in order to continue & maintain my recovery. I had complete right knee replacement 3 years ago and pain ever since. I tried PT, ointments and other methods to control the pain with no results. Randall Christensen at the Airrosti Clinic in San Marcos is great! He listens and pinpoints the areas of pain and applies pressure in those areas. It does hurt, alot, while it is being done but the results are remarkable. Raymond his assistant helps with a demonstration of the prescribed exercises to do at home. As an 34 year old avid rugby player, who has been playing sport for 13+ years, I tend to pick up a few injuries each season. Prior to going to Dr. Christensen I would generally suffer through those injuries for an entire season and/or seasons. Now that I am a patient of Dr. Christensen, injury time has been reduced to just a few weeks, and my performance on the field is rarely affected. It took me 2 months after a skiing accident to confirm I had a partial rotator cuff tear, and my Doc recommended trying physical therapy first. Instead of going to the PT assigned to me I chose Airrosti as they were close to work and convenient for me. It was my first time ever seeing them, and the results have been amazing. Within 4 weeks I was swimming freestyle again, and starting to work out. With each visit my shoulder kept improving, and I couldn't be happier with Dr. Benson and Haley for what they did for me. We have visited a number of Airrosti locations over the years and Dr. Randy Christensen is by far our favorite. He helped my daughter recover and rehab a Grade 2 MCL sprain she suffered while playing high school softball. I was struggling getting in and out of my pickup. Pain in my lower back was making everything twice as hard to do. At least twice as hard. I have been going to Airrosit on and off the last couple of years. Had knee surgery and foot surgery. Regular therapy was not doing anything for me. One of the doctor at San Marcos Family Medicine told me about it and it was the best decision I made. Dr Randy Christensen is the best. If you ever need Rehab give him a call. I was in pain and had very little mobility for over a month before I came to Airrosti. I am in my late 50s trying to build fences and landscape.
