I have paid substantially more than I was ever charged with Dr. Yuan. Close to a decade later, I am excited to be returning to Dr. Yuan. He is a straight shooter. You will not leave him looking overdone or ridiculous. His eye for aesthetics is top tier and I have not found any better than Sean Yuan. If you don't need something or there is a better (and sometimes cheaper!) option for you, he advises you as such. There were procedures I had wanted done many years back. Dr Yuan advised me to proceed in a direction that wasn't as extreme as what I envisioned, and gave me the reasoning. I insisted on what I thought I could achieve, and found a doctor who has no qualms doing what I asked. For the sake of brevity, i will tell you that EVERY procedure or treatment that I proceeded with elsewhere, I not only paid more for the initial treatment, but doubled down as I ended up getting the treatment or procedure reversed. I greatly regret not just following Dr. Yuan's advice. I'd have saved a lot of mental and financial energy! If you are lucky enough to have landed on Dr. Sean Yuan in your search for aesthetic treatments, you have found the only doctor you will need. I would, and do, feel comfortable and confident enough in his expertise to allow him to proceed in the way he thinks is best. He is also not one of those docs who tries to upsell you and push products or procedures you don't need or didn't even inquire for. I am recommending my friends to go to him, despite my location now being a bit of a distance from him. He is very worth a bit of a commute. If i could post some advice that EVERYONE would see, it would be to go to Dr. Sean Yuan. I feel comfortable and confident saying assuredly that this doctor is THE ONE who will give you natural and wonderful results.

I then received a very rude email stating that my eyes were shaped "extremely different" (duh, I know that, that's why I'm seeking help), and that the surgery wouldn't be helpful. No suggestions for an in person consultation. If I look so "extremely" uneven, wouldn't you at least want to try to help me? Photos are limited for evaluation. Also, I just mentioned what one doctor suggested years ago. Obviously I don't believe that what was mentioned then is still what I need. I just finished medical school and honestly, I'm still so peeved and hurt by this unprofessional encounter I felt the need to write. Having a congenital eye disorder results in a lot of insecurities, and having a sensitive bedside manner is really important when helping potential patients. At my follow up, I was accused of "its all in your head" by Gina and Dr. Wulc. I came in with mild malar festoons and ended up needing a facial fat grafting after just 1 Morpheus8 session. My experience has been a NIGHTMARE and the total opposite of everything I was led to believe I would look like for $1400. Stay away from these people! My experience with K Cross was very disappointing. He does not respect or listen to patients--he…read morerepeated information incorrectly that I had just provided to him several times. Because he did not do a thorough evaluation prior to surgery, he changed the agreed to approach "on the spot" in surgery while I was under anesthesia. If K Cross had recommended the approach he used prior to surgery, I would have opted not to have the procedure done. He has yet to discuss this with me--I had to read it in his operative note. A medical issue arose during a followup visit and he said he would find out and get back to me--he has not. It is now many, many months since this commitment was made. In addition, I had to take non-absorbable stitches out myself as he did remember to do so on my first post-op visit. One would think that if you spend in the five figures for a procedure that the surgeon could at least remember to remove the sutures. K Cross also seems to rely heavily on medicating his patients--I have a cabinet full of prescriptions including a controlled substance. I found the practice to be very disorganized--I never knew who would be calling me, scheduling the procedure was difficult and confusing, the estimate for the procedure was inaccurate and I was charged significantly more, and appointment wait times were 30 plus minutes. Followup and accountability were markedly lacking--it was an expensive experience and the surgical results are very disappointing--premium pricing but not premium results. I regret allowing him to do surgery on me. In my opinion, he exercised very poor judgment in several areas of my medical care that impeded optimal recovery. I did not find him to be trustworthy.

The worst part is that when I paid for my (full price) microneedling, I had a hideous reaction that kept me out of work for a week.
