First of all, I never thought I'd "be one of those (vain) people that would get lipo. I was never an athlete, but I was a sergeant in the army and "knew what I needed to do" to lose weight. I spent countless dollars on gym memberships, weight loss programs, diet pills, weight loss food, shakes, ate right and nothing. I did lose weight, however I was never happy with my body, hiding it with compression garments, dark clothing, ensuring I only take pictures at "the right angle" etc etc. As I'm getting older, it's getting harder to lose weight and easier to get bigger. I saw a commercial for Sono Bello, saw they had an office right down the road in Cherry Hill & figured I'd check it out just to see how much it costs & what could actually be done. I was set up with an initial consultation with Dr. Gary Brownstein and nurse Bobbie Martino at the King of Prussia office. I was so nervous you'd think I was going in for a job interview. Nurse Bobbie gave me a pair of little surgical underwear and bra to change into and a robe - now I'm more nervous and feeling very vulnerable. Throughout the entire experience the staff took every opportunity to ensure my comfort in an uncomfortable situation. As I'm standing there in my surgical bra and underwear, everything hanging out, Dr. Brownstein was checking everything out & I'm doing everything not to catch a reflection of myself in the mirror behind him. He then asked what my expectations/hopes we're for the procedure & out of no where I said "I just want to be skinny" and started sobbing. In that moment every negative thought I've ever had about my body image or people's "you're curvy" "big boned" "oh you're gaining weight" comments came flooding in. I didn't mean to say it nor did I expect to start sobbing. Dr. Brownstein & nurse Bobbi immediately stopped what they were doing sat me down and talked with me about my body image, what was motivating me to seek a surgical option, alternatives and realistic expectations. They spent the next hour+ showing genuine compassion & care about my experience, what was happening for me emotionally in that moment and ensuring I was making the right decision, for the right reasons for me. They created a safe space where it was okay to be vulnerable & honestly express how I was feeling and answer every question I could think of and some I didn't think of. Nurse Bobbi hugged me and I could feel she truly understood what I was experiencing. Dr. Brownstein was honest in providing me with realistic expectations based on my body structure & what I was looking to acconplish. They never rushed me and in all spent over 2 hours with me. Throughout the next week before surgery they were always available for calls & emails answering any questions I've had. My surgery was last Friday 7/7/17. Surgery went well & I was well prepared for what to expect before, during and after thanks to Nurse Bobbi & Dr. Brownstein, they've even both called me to check in on my recovery which is amazing - I've worked in the health care field for over a decade and have rarely seen the empathy, care and personal attention I have recieved from my team at Sono Bello, King of Prussia. I wanted to share my experience not only because of the phenomenal care I recieved but to talk about the real experience of the process. I would just like to share my experience with Sonobello from the staff to my results. This procedure is something that I've wanted to have done for a very long time. Everyone always thought I was crazy to want to do this and not just focus on diet and exercise but the truth is after having a baby my body just will not return to what it looked like before (still wasn't happy before but...). There were certain problem areas that I could not get rid of no matter what. VERY DISCOURAGING! I had a pocket of fat (saddlebags) on each side of my outer thigh, and a pouch on my lower abdomen. It just wouldn't go away, EVER. So I decided to move forward with this procedure to get a kick start to a healthy lifestyle. I must say best decision I have ever made. My doctor, Dr. Talaie is the most amazing surgeon in the world. I seriously want to hug him so tight the next time see him. He gave me this amazing body and I couldn't be more happy. This is my first review of Sono Bello, with more to follow as my healing journey progresses. I scheduled a consultation in June. First impressions are everything and the front desk staff are warm and friendly and ready to assist with anything you need. I was apprehensive, nervous and full of questions about what I was getting myself into, but then I met with Betty S. my consultant. Betty is a straight forward lady who knows her job well and we clicked immediately and she eased all of my angst by answering more than once questions I had. She weighed me, showed me charts, discussed different surgery options, pricing and the results I could expect. They go by your "BMI" so pricing will vary per individual (that should be better detailed on the website). She is the one who really convinced me how great I will look and how it would make such a difference in my appearance...she was right! I also met briefly with the doctor who took a peek at the targeted area as well. Surgery day came and they prepped me and took me back to start the procedure. I was awake and could follow and respond to the Dr. T who did my surgery and Chris his assistant. It took approx. 4 hrs. Downtime for me is a non-issue as I recently retired and can heal at my own pace. I went for my 7 day post-op, and 1 month with good results, healing nicely, feeling great and loving my new body. One thing to mention though is that their medical staff although fully capable and competent is who you will see for ALL post op visits. I have not seen Dr. T since surgery. When questioned, they told me that I would not unless there was an issue, concern or I requested to see him. Me personally if I were the physician I would like to see the work I preformed and how it came out (that's just how I am wired)...I think he would be well pleased with the results, because I am! I cannot say enough good things about Sono Bello. I was someone who has always struggled with their weight and body image. I had liposuction of upper and lower abdomen, flanks, inner thighs and under arms/bra roll. I am having Venous Legacy treatments as part of the transformation process to reduce loose skin and cellulite. I am beyond satisfied with my results! I had my procedure done 10 days ago and I'm super excited with my result already, I still have a long way to go but I'm feeling and looking fabulous. This place is Great!! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is considering lipo. This was my first time getting any cosmetic procedure done and Im so glad I went here. When I went in for my free consultation I met with Katie who was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable and answered all my questions. We discussed what I wanted and I decided to go through with my lipo. After that I schduled my pre-op appointment at the King of Prussia office where again I was met with a very friendly and attentive staff. I was introduced to my doctor and we further discussed my procedure and the work I would be having done. I was given everything I would need for the day of and days follwing my procedure. On the day of surgery I was extremly nervous but the staff was excellent in answering all my questions and making sure I was ok and comfortable. During my procedure the doctor made sure I was ok and not in pain( it is an awake procedure). I went home and rested but the staff called me same day to check on me and make sure I was ok! I had never heard of Sono Bello before and randomly saw an add for them on Facebook. I was skeptical honestly, because it seemed too good to be true; but I called and set up a consultation because I just had to go see for myself. Finding the buliding was a bit of a challenge but when I entered I immediately felt soothed. The building itself is gorgeous and walking in the the office I was immediately greeted by two warm young girls. Zoe helped me with my paperwork and handed me a water which was a very nice touch. She helped me answer some questions I had about the paperwork because they require alot of information and in this world you can never be to careful. But she explained everything they ask is to get to know me better and to help understand my expectations. I met with Melissa and just loved her! She's very sweet and calming, answered all of my questions and gave me so much information! She even gave me a sheet on both of the doctors which allowed me to delete more at ease as you don't meet with them when you go in for a consultation. The price isn't high but I needed to discuss it with my other half and perhaps lose a little weight myself before going in for the actual procedure. It took a long time to decide whether or not I was actually going to get liposuction. I'm 27 and everyone thought I was crazy for even considering it. Then I rethought everything and realized it wasn't about them it was about me. On Friday October 2 I got lipo suction on my hips and torso and I am so happy I did this for myself. The sonobello in King of Prussia is beyond amazing. Bobbi who did this intake was so sweet and fabulous, it felt like I was sitting there talking to one of my girlfriends over a cup of coffee. Well I am about 2 weeks in after having waist, hips,upper and lower abs. I still feel just a little bruised and tender. But OH my gosh! I can start to see a difference in myself. I'm 56 yrs. young and not vain at all. Believe me I don't spend any time on myself. This was about me and me only. Feeling comfortable in my own skin. So much so that I have scheduled my front and back bra roll to be done in early September. I debated to do this for over a year and felt so guilty for spending money on myself. After 2 children, back surgery, full hysterectomy and hernia surgery needless to say my stomach looks like a road map from all the scars. I was Very nervous about trying SonoBello after some negative reviews i saw Online. But after speaking with the practice manager of the King of Prussia location, I researched that specific location and was pleased, especially with my doctor. Before my surgery date everyone called me to make sure i was ok and reassured me i was In great hands. During my surgery, my doctor was great! He talked to me during the entire procedure, and allowed me to have a moment when things were too overwhelming. The entire staff was welcoming, endearing and very helpful. So far, a week out, although I am still in a lot of pain, I'm pleased with my results. I had Lipo on my upper/lower abs, flanks and lower back. I was very impressed with every aspect of my experience at Sono Bello from beginning to end. Everything was very organized and I didn't experience any problems. Although I have not had the actual procedure yet, my experience with Sono Bello from the start has been a positive one. After months of consults with various doctors and offices I chose to consult with sono bello, I'm not gonna lie, I walked in very defensive due to some negative reviews on other sites saying how they were some sort of lipo factory. But not true, it's a very well put together corperation that has ur new body image in mine. All surgeons are board certified and that is huge! Yea there job is to sell,...
