This is a general review for our total experience with airworx. It involves an initial service/inspection that lead to a full HVAC installation. This is a long one, but if you're considering a complete system install, I hope I've made it worth it. Service & Inspection: Technician (clint came to our house to do an initial service on our system to help improve some incredibly poor efficiency. Like 16 hours per day run time in the summer inefficiency. He not only performed the cleaning services, but he thoroughly inspected the system (cabinet & attic). Then he took the time to walk me through everything that he found, both live and pictures on his phone that illustrated what our problems were. Despite having plenty of ammunition to go for an easy sale on more services and equipment, he simply made some recommendations for both short and long term improvement, shook my hand, and was on his way. Some of the things he pointed out were potential safety hazards thanks to the "I know a guy" HVAC company that installed our system. We bite the bullet and decide to get a new AC, ducting, and insulation. Sales Experience: We worked with Patrick to decide on the best solution for our house. He arrived and did a quick inspection of our current unit, counted vents, and surveyed the attic. We sat down and he went over good/better/best solutions for our house, and highlighted the pros & cons of each. He provided financing solutions and ran numbers on every option, which also included calculators (using VERY conservative numbers) that factored in our past year's electricity bill to help illustrate a realistic return on our investment. We settled on a price, and scheduled the install within a couple of days. I need to add that Patrick was intelligent, polite, very knowledgeable about the product and the process. We felt like we would be in great hands at every step of the process (which we ultimately were). I didn't expect for the sales part of this process to be so pleasant. Installation Day: A fleet of trucks showed up at our house. Not pickup trucks. I mean vans' and trailers packed to the gills with every tool and piece of equipment that they would need to complete the job in one shot without "a quick run to Home Depot" for anything. Juan was the team lead, Sef (Condenser fan install), and David (Ductwork) did a quick walkthough, then got down to business. The whole install took about 9 hours for a 1400 sq ft house. The install was very thorough. They made changes to the original configuration to ensure that it would be up to code and pass inspection. They were hard working, efficient, gentle and respectful of our house, and polite through and through. The quality of the work is beyond what I expected. And I can't say enough about the friendly service from everyone, top to bottom. Conclusion: You will not get this level of service, quality of work, or peace of mind with anyone else. They are expensive, but you get an insured and licensed contractor that will manage the permit, properly staff the job, bring everything they need (electrical and all), coordinate the 3rd party inspection of the ductwork + certificate, schedule the inspector, and all with a smile. Not to mention, if they run into something unexpected during the job, you don't pay another dime for them to complete the job. I can't recommend this company enough. Note: Our system now runs for 3 hours per day in 95 degree heat, vs. the previous 16 hours with the old system. Very happy customers. read more

Yes, these guys are on the high end of the cost scale---but as of now, I still feel it was well worth it. A few years back I know something was going on with the upstairs AC unit. Now that we are moving back to our home, come to find the AC is busted. Condenser rusted out, fan case dented, motor damaged...my wife almost killed me that night when we found out the air wasn't working. Yes, maybe the sales tactics are carefully orchestrated--or maybe it is just hard to believe that good service exist. Whatever it is, the response time, service of work, ability to explain things simply, communication within the team, and even commitment to their work is amazing. It started with Jackson coming out to maintenance the two units. Blazing hot outside, and this guy still goes into the attic and goes through both systems and takes the pictures of the damages unit. Explains everything to us not once, not twice, but three times as I was at work. So he had to explain it to my sister, my wife, and finally me! In all three cases, the information was consistent. We decided to get a new AC. I was hoping a week tops. Nope, he was able to get a sales rep to stop by at 3! It was already about 2 and being summer, it was a good sign. Now comes in Jim. I have trouble explaining technical things that I don't understand very well to my wife. He was able to break it down and just overall knowledgeable and patient. We went with a new AC unit for upstairs and furnace and condenser--the whole nine yards. The price includes the removal, permits, installation, labor, a number of warranties. Installation time? Next day! . Stayed here almost 12-13 hours to finish the job!! The welding was professional, they attention to my property amazing--super polite. The installed, cleaned up, explained everything, even followed up the next morning. Guys were amazing, I got these guys lunch and dinner. Got a chance to talk with them. Talking to the team always gives you a good indication if it's a good company or not. Ulysses has been with these guys 8+ years, Rudy about 5 months+, both talk about not Only the company but also of the owner Dealing with over 200-300 suppliers myself, I seldom see or hear of companies that are already well established in which the owner still either works with the team in the field, meets daily with the managers, etc. That made my day. Overall, just awesome experience. Really makes me feel good to spend the extra cash to not only get a new unit, Thanks guys!!! This company deserves 10 stars. While I may not be difficult to please, I am hard to be wowed and airworx was one of the best I have dealt with in any business. Long story short, our AC went two days ago. The unit was previously serviced by Alicia Air so I called them first and they told me they were busy and it WOULD BE TWO (2!!!!) WEEKS for them to come out. Ummmm, its 106 degrees and my family is being sous vide at home. A buddy said his inlaws just had an AC problem and he'd get me the name of the company because they loved them. It was airworx. I called and was greeted by a very courteous and professional person. She took down my info, set my appt for the next day, confirmed all my info by reading it back to me which was a good start. (In between I had another random guy come out, he replaced a transformer but couldn't get it working and was telling me I needed a whole new unit) So now we're at today and clint came out. Very friendly, has a mat he puts down, wears booties on his feet, tells me all about what he's going to do, the company, their style, etc. He goes up, doubting the other guys diagnosis, does some work, checks some electrical sources, boom, gets it working. (Our unit is like 18 years old so it won't last much longer but still...) He charges me $95.95 because I agree to their twice yearly inspection and tune up. Sold. I could have been spending $4k and up, instead $95.95. LIFESAVER! If you have a newer HVAC unit, the $95.95 plan probably isn't for you but if your system is old, and they can keep it working, plus anything you pay in the monthly plan is used as a credit if something does go wrong and you need a repair done, it makes sense. Service companies are hit or miss and sometimes two people can have the opposite experiences but Service Champions is 2 for 2 with me and people I know. read more

Our furnace (21 years old) wouldn't come on a few days ago. We had used airworx for a tune up years ago, so I called again. The one who took the call was very courteous, let me explain the situation, and booked the first available appt which was a few days away. They called the day before to make sure we still wanted them to come, and they called the day of to let us know they'd be early if that was okay. Aaron pulled up and we talked a bit before going to the problem. I felt he was really listening to my concerns. He went into the attic, diagnosed the problem, and invited me to see the numbers and readouts. He took the time to explain what everything meant, as I have no hvac knowledge. It needed a part (control board?) and he let me know he'd call a few places to get the best price. We discussed whether it should be repaired, or if it was time to invest in a new system. He carefully explained all options and let me decide to fix this one and wait to replace. There was absolutely no hard sell; just a conversation with someone who knew what he was talking about and had years of experience. He picked up the part, installed quickly, replaced the filters, and was done! He explained the maintenance plan but didn't pressure me to sign up. However, I was so impressed with his knowledge and polite manners that I did enroll. I look forward to having him return in spring to check the AC and furnace again. I know we'll have to replace in the future, and they will be the only ones I call. read more

This guy is local to the Hinesville, GA area not to e confused with the one in savannah. My vents stopped blowing all but a tiny bit of air and I called company A. who made me suspicious by not even being outside 3 minutes, ( sat my coffee cup down and turned to walk the few feet to the back door when he et me in the hallway)came in and told me exactly what I told him. Motor needed to be replaced and quoted me this mile high figure$$$$ I paid $5,300 for this packaged unit in 200 and don't you know the 10 year warranty on all parts EXPIRED just the end of August! Just my luck! Strange thing, he had me SIGN my receipt(DO NOT DO THIS, it would have given him my permission to order that part and install it for the prices he quoted, thank GOD, he had not written up an order cause I thought it weird to have to sign a receipt! He took my money without blinking an eye and left as quickly as he came so I called Airworx and he came out the next day, I followed him outside and he examined it for 15 minutes and said it was the motor but he went to Jesup and got me one(usually have to order these)and installed it for HALF $$ of what the other guy wanted! My pastor recommended this guy and since he did the AC on our church and pastor's home, that's good enough for me! He really delivered and saved me and my two furbabies from the heat! Please check the other Yelp page this company has. They seem to operate under different business names with the same phone number. I can only speak of the horrible and dangerous experience I had with this company. We had a complete system done and nothing was in code with wires exposed and electrical tape used as wire connectors. Thankfully we hired a Liscenced and insured company to come fix all the problems that Air Worx created. They had no insurance and do not stand behind their work. They also prey on people on Craigslist. The money you think you will save will cost you much more in just a few days. read more

He, very politely & neatly, went through the process making sure to comment on what he was doing & how it affected both the outcome & the long range viability of both my systems. airworx installed my heating and air conditioning unit several years ago, and I subscribe to their Preventive Maintenance Service Program. Their technicians are always prompt, professional and thorough. The Office always checks in a couple times, during the day of the appointment, to keep me updated on the technician's arrival time. clint was my tech today, and I'm sure I was his last call of the day. day, but an hour later they called advising they had an opening due to cancellation. This was great since we had spent the weekend inside of a sweltering house sleeping in 95 degree heat. Chris showed up promptly, completed a thorough inspection and testing, then diagnosed the system- low on Freon. Within an hour he had completed the job and the temperature was on the way down. They even called to tell me they would be there within the hour and arrived faster. He even came in my house wearing booties so as to protect the floor! See I was with out heat this weekend and I called airworx they showed up. And showed me a huge leak in my coil so they said to change that coil was a lot. and offered me a new system I had already had estimates from other ac company's so there estimate was $3000 cheaper for some units and Longer warranty my neighbor also used airworx in 2015 haven't had any issues. read more

Great prompt service! They quoted me a price for a A/c compressor replacement and the technician spent much more time then was expected to get the unit going, making sure there weren't pressure leaks etc. In the end I was still charged the original quoted price even with the extra labor.
