Dr. Benson and the entire team were wonderful. Everyone was friendly, professional, and made us feel comfortable the whole time. They took great care of us and made the appointment easy and stress free. What I really appreciated is that this did not feel like one of those "doc in the box" dental practices where they try to sell you a bunch of unnecessary treatments. Everything felt honest, straightforward, and focused on what we actually needed. We were so happy with the experience that I even referred my parents. I definitely recommend Elevate Dental if you are looking for a dental office with a great doctor and an amazing team.

Dr. Sohn seemed okay but the dental hygienist scraped my gums so hard I was not bleeding a little but a LOT and then she aggressively pushed a deep cleaning priced at $900. This was my first visit here after moving back to the area (grew up here, 10 years in Austin, back to DFW for a few months) mind you I have never missed a cleaning in about 20 years. I get a routine cleaning every 6 months and have never had anyone do what this hygienist did. I wanted to be open minded plus I had already paid the upfront 1 year package so I came back 6 months later after she scolded me about not doing the deep cleaning and said well if you want you can just see back in 6 months how flossing and brushing goes (yeah I think I will do that). Then at the next cleaning magically my teeth were fine b/c I requested a different hygienist. Also wow no bleeding. I switched to Tate Dental in 2024. Routine cleaning in Feb & Oct 2024 - both visits got a clean bill of health and no bleeding from the hygienist. I told no one of my experience at the new dentist to see. I asked the dentist and hygienist if they would recommend a deep cleaning and they both said my teeth are perfect health and it wouldn't be necessary showing me photos, etc and explaining what would be the reason for a deep cleaning. I did let Dr. Sohn's office know of my experience when it occurred in 2023 and they did nothing. So all that to say, buyer beware. No clue if the reviews are real or not but my experience at Sohn was awful and I only went there b/c of the good reviews. Also Tate is better priced too! I called in advance and asked for pricing after the awful experience at Sohn. I have moved a lot in my life and of the 5 dentists I have seen no one has EVER scratched the crap out of my gums like that and then acted like it was not their fault. I was shocked and now I wish I would have just stood up and left. I realize now how bad it actually was and I was just being a pushover.

I show up for a 7am appointment and I am shown a cancellation form. Took me asking multiple times to receive any form of contact info for an "office manager". Also told me that me that my brothers insurance was accepted and after 8 months and 5 separate visits, received a surprise bill and told they do not accept his insurance. Told me some bs about how it took awhile to fax over insurance information from provider. Never received one call from the non existent office manager. Dr. Young is great but will not be retuning after multiple problems with his front desk staff who only know how to swipe cards and setup appointment. Extremely disappointed after I have had extensive work done at this office.

They are courteous and empathetic until It comes to finances. This is where Leah comes in and can be a bit brash when you question her about charges. Some charges are a bit way overpriced in my opinion. In the middle of my husband's treatment, they informed him his insurance is no longer taken and attempted to charge him an amount so over inflated he walked out, sought another opinion, and changed dental professionals...at 60% less than what Leah quoted him. So just be sure to shop around. It's your out of pocket expense! And to not finish a procedure in the middle of treatment leaves us less than unimpressed.

He not only refused to take responsibility, he ignored the existence of his mistake altogether - even though it was confirmed by two other very reputable dentists. He pathetically refused to even discuss it with me. His unethical behavior and dental incompetence is absolutely shocking. I challenge Dr Belnap in his reply to deny ANY of my stated accusations. He's horrible. Stay away.
