I first took my mom here and they did an excellent job on her problem teeth. Dr Evangelista really is an artist and took her time to create a beautiful smile. My elderly mom had ground down her teeth and needed some crowns. She took her time and fixed all the problem areas for her. Also the hygienist did an excellent job. She's very thorough and skilled. Woke up with a huge swollen face and throbbing tooth. They got me in the same day. MaryRose examined my mouth and xrays and found right away that I had an infection which caused this massive swelling. She was gentle and treated me like a person and not just another body in a chair. I'd mentioned my fear of dentists & procedures and she was compassionate and explained different options, so I've got choices when I come back after a few days on being on antibiotics. They called a script in for me and it was ready when I picked it up! Already on day 2 and swelling considerably diminished and pain is very minimal. Dr. Miles was kind and gentle with the exam as well and I truly felt they treated me like family. Will absolutely recommend Miles Dental and their staff to everyone I know. You won't have some astronomical bill either, even if it's a dental emergency! I am grateful they got me in and on a treatment plan the same day!! So to start off, "Dr" Miles is the most disrespectful dentist I have ever seen in my life. If you post about him on Google and leave anything less than a perfect review, he'll take you down. And since Yelp is a place for the people, I believe people have the right to know what they're getting into, especially with dental work. It's very suspicious how someone can't take a shred of criticism because how do other doctors and dentists remain transparent without editing reviews? They actually have an ounce of integrity, that's how. Their patients appreciate their honest work and TRUST them. I'm a college educated woman who knows when something isn't right and this business is so far from being trustworthy. I went here to get a routine cleanup and a cavity fixed and my experience has made it so hard to go anywhere else because I'm actually nervous to be SASSED and IGNORED like I was here. He'll most likely reply with "I've never taken you as a patient" and he can go ahead and try that because I have proof. I'm honestly doing this because people searching for an amazing dentist who is caring and gentle and GENUINELY is concerned for their patients are NOT going to find that here. Buyer/patient beware, there are so many other wonderful dentists in this area that deserve the business. I don't doubt some people like this dentist and they're entitled to their opinion, but in my experience, which was awful/rushed/unprofessional/done incorrectly/must be corrected elsewhere, I recommend you go somewhere else. He also is extremely rude to people and tries to downplay their medical problems and pain. He's told several people on Google/Yelp to "take a Xanax" or to remove their post because they're lying, and even admitted on Google that quote "yes, I effed up". So everyone is out to get you? Not one person is telling the truth? I hope he reads this and actually responds with an intellectual, solid argument as to why he is so unprofessional when he's a practicing doctor. If not, I'll be off to the BBB and State Dental Board. Please take my review and think about going here. read more
