From site visit, to contract, to event...the team at BC took great care of me. The venue is very clean, modern and stacked with an entire staff waiting to help with anything you need. The location is perfectly located in the middle of downtown and within a 2 to 10 minute walking distance from at least 5 hotels. On Saturday, their outdoor market is setup right outside the building, in their courtyard, which was a bonus. The ONLY downside, which is why they are probably so clean, is they do not permit ANY outside food or beverages...not even coffee. This was upsetting to many in our group so they eventually permitted us to bring in coffee.

Oh crap. I feel guilty. I've been working so hard on saving money these couple of months and here I…read morego spending like a mad woman for my toddler's birthday party! I've been doing so well, too, like I cut off my threenager 's ballet class cuz she didn't really like it, I just made her do it cuz it was so darn cute. I don't eat out much anymore and I haven't bought any new clothes and shoes since...uhhh last year? (FYI, the ones from Hawaii were gifts.) Plus, I just pluck my own eyebrows but I get lazy nowadays. I don't care if I look like Magnim PI, I'm not paying $40 for wax or threading on my face! We've always had a low key for our daughter 's birthday, but since this is the first year she had actual friends, I thought it would be fun to have a little party to celebrate her birthday. But then I had a horrific picture of 20 toddlers running around at our place for six hours and I panicked! I've never hosted a party like that before. I looked on Yelp and found this company, left a message, and less than 24 hours later, Amanda responded. She sent me a form online and I returned it ASAP to book the date. I didn't even have to pay a deposit! A few days later, Amanda confirmed the date. They're usually busy with events so I had to leave a message each time I called them, but Amanda responded quickly and professionally. Everyone fell in love with Marcus, the balloon guy! Even me!!! He was fun, creative, and very likable. All the kids enjoyed their balloons. Many of our guests took his business card, they thought $125/hour was reasonable. I cringe when I think about how much I spent on that, especially since the kids popped all the balloons. I could've just saved that for her college fund. Next year, though, we're gonna have to stick with cake and ice cream...maybe without the friends. They play at the park everyday anyway. If you're okay with that price and you have that extra money to spend then Marcus is your guy!!!!

If we ever had a question or even a melt down she was always good about communicating with us. From helping finding a venue, to being at all the venders meetings on zoom and actually helping us find the right ones. And at end of night her and her team even packed all the rentals up and put in our vehicle and drove to our airbn. If you are looking for a weding planner Rachel is the only one I recommend.
