I was thrilled to learn she was still available to take a look at the smaller project. Design and selection: Holly has a great eye for light and color and really knows her product line. If you want, she really can do all the deciding too. ;) That is how I operate. Color me lazy. When I call a designer into my house I like to let them do what they think is best. It works for me every time. Installation: Rick is a rockstar. I have purchased a LOT of HD blinds in my life across several residences and I have never ever seen anyone do a flawless install as quickly as Rick does. On top being skilled, he is just a very nice person. Great service with a smile. Who could ask for more. Professional from start to finish. Not all Hunter Douglas providers are equal. I learned this the hard way. They do all sell the same product, but that is where it ends. After retaining a legal team, the house became a forensic site for multiple inspections and documentation by damage experts. Fortunately, I found Shannon on Houzz. She was so brave to accept my project and to aid me in fixing the damage, completing the project, and then to submit all documentation required by my legal team. This was far and above what any contractor should be asked to do. My project was extremely complicated because so much shoddy work was discovered on deconstruction which was not anticipated. She handled everything efficiently and systematically while working closely with me as the client to assure that I was getting the results I wanted. I did! I appreciated her allowing me to be a partner in the project. I am beyond delighted with my finished project and Aisling Designs. My husband and I enthusiastically recommend her in every way.

I had to reschedule the because they "forgot " that I was on their books. The came out to adjust the shutter, and it still is not working properly. I made another appointment to purchase more shutters or blinds, and to adjust the shutter that was not closing. I waited and they were late. After contacting the company to confirm my appointment, it was acknowledged that I was, in fact, on the schedule. Yet, over looked. Poor business practices. I will not recommend this company.

Every time, the gals on the floor are mildly friendly at best and definitely pretty pushy. The oldest and rudest of the ladies that work there abruptly told me it was discontinued, and that she'd remembered seeing me in before (with the tone and subtext of "and have never bought anything"). I continued to explain to her that I was actually looking to make a purchase and again mentioned my interest in the "discontinued" lounge chair. She then took my email down and said she'd send me info on the chair or something similar, but of course never did. I'd love to give my business to a local luxury furniture store - but with that attitude and shite customer service... I'll just continue to order online from CB2, Industry West, Arhaus, Maiden Home .... literally anywhere else. Comparable in price and sexiness, but skip the nasty. She never promoted or pushed anything but answered questions and pointed out challenges we not thought of. AND we aren't newbies. We have had 4 kitchens done in remodels and new custom houses and kind of know the program and what we' need and like and what we value. She was just great. So great we almost turned the planning to her and have a preliminary quote and will likely get a design from her and we hope be able to buy from her. At first, these guys were fantastic. On time, straight forward, no BS…read more As time went by, more and more "complications" arose none of which seemed to be their doing. Due to inept communication, the slab of granite we had picked out somehow ended up in someone else's kitchen. We had already waited several weeks longer than we were supposed to originally, and now....... We'll add an additional 10 weeks. We had an appointment for their install crew to come and install the counters. That was between 9-10 in the morning. After waiting the entire day with not do much as a phone call, we decided to give up and go eat. As we were leaving, they're install pulled up in front of our home. The two guys got out of the truck and said we're here to install your counters. This was about 6:30 in the p.m. When I asked you to where the hell they had been and why we receive no notification they said that they were in McCall finishing up a job and that they were busy. They figured that we would be around when they showed up and that we wanted to counters installed bad enough that we would like to go ahead and do it. I told them to pack her crap up and get out of there and reschedule, we were done for the day. Finally the day of installation came. After several hours of working on putting the counters in the kitchen, they had left telling us the job was finished. Standing in the kitchen looking down on the countertops I about fell over. Being a contractor I have an eyeball for lines and such, however, one does not need to be a Carpenter to see how bad of a screwup this was. What was supposed to be a 90° angle cut ended up being a 97° angle cut. When we spoke to Big Wood Cabinets they sent the rep out to take a look. Of course she tried to come up with all kinds of roundabout excuses and reasons why it was the way it was the bottom line it was screwed up. He was Going to check in to finding out about having it replaced. After several days of negotiating back-and-forth he asked if we would be willing to except the countertop as it was and reduce the price for doing so. We agreed telling him that we would like at least a 20% reduction on the price of a granite slab that was miss cut and looks well looks terrible. That was agreed. Looking further into it not only was the countertop miss kit for the cabinets were installed just a little bit out of square as you can see in the pictures. These guys are supposed to be professionals?During the installation process of the cabinets, we had noticed flaws in the faces of the drawers and cabinet doors. Some were warped, some had chips taken out of them. Every time we inquired about such we were told to go ahead and wait until the end and we would do a final walk-through and then submit a claim under the warranty for the damage pieces and they would replace those parts. Well 7-8 months past the finish time of the cabinet installation and countertops we still have received no discount on the countertop after paying full price and we have received no parts or pieces to replace those damaged ones or defective ones. When calling Big Wood Cabinets we are told basically to shove it and they weren't going to do anything about it. You can see in the pictures how bad some of the damage was. Would you accept this in your home for all the money they charge? Wells Farfound one of our brand-new kitchen towels watered up underneath one of the cabinets looking like this. Bottom line these guys don't stand behind their word for a damn thing. They are liars and they're cheats. Not the kind of business dealing I would expect from a fellow native Idahoan.
